The Calling EP008

[00:00:00] Homaya: Hello and blessings, beautiful people. I'm super happy to introduce to you today, my dear friend, Danielle Imus, who is a mindset mentor, a healer. a teacher, a beautiful being that I had the privilege to be with and spend time with and enjoy each other company and wisdom and vision. Daniel, thank you so much for being with us today.

[00:00:39] Danielle: Thank you. I'm honored to be here.

[00:00:44] Homaya: I feel that although we didn't tune into that, can you share a little bit of your history up until now, so the people who are new to your world will fill you. [00:01:00]

[00:01:01] Danielle: Absolutely. So my background is actually in the corporate world. I had a job for many years in food tourism and I studied the life sciences and body medicine.

[00:01:18] Danielle: And after university, I found myself going more into Food, tourism, hospitality, and it all makes sense now and because of what I do, however, for many years, I was on this track of climbing that corporate ladder. And there was a moment when I decided that I wanted to help people in a different way. And I would, I wanted to take power of my own life and work for myself.

[00:01:45] Danielle: So I became an entrepreneur through network marketing and I assumed that I would do well. I assumed that I would go right to the top and I'd leave that corporate job and replace my income, and it didn't [00:02:00] happen. In fact, I spent many years struggling with this idea that if I only worked harder, I would achieve success.

[00:02:09] Danielle: So I was a hustler many hours, and I was willing to do what it takes, sacrifice family, all the things that they said to do. And. Nothing changed. I read all the books, went to the courses, and as time went on, I continued to become more and more frustrated, thinking that something was actually wrong with me, that I just wasn't meant to be a leader.

[00:02:37] Danielle: And that's when I was introduced to one of my mentors, his name's Bob Proctor. And I heard him speak about the mind, and he asked us to take responsibility for our results, and to stop blaming. Things outside of us, because at that time I was blaming the fact that I didn't have support from my husband, that there weren't enough [00:03:00] hours in the day, that I wasn't working hard enough, I thought, and when he asked me to take responsibility, it was like a punch in the gut, and yet I knew it was true, and I believe that the truth resonates with I Who we really are.

[00:03:17] Danielle: And in that moment, I opened up to learn what that taking responsibility meant. And I learned how the mind works and how I am a powerful creator and I can co create with source, God, the universe, and create this reality that I love. And I jumped into his work and within six months. I tripled my income. I was winning awards with my company.

[00:03:49] Danielle: It all just became so easy. Success became really easy. I became an alignment to that goal. And I knew that I needed to help other women who [00:04:00] were feeling like I was feeling before that work, which was frustrated, stuck, hardworking, and that there was an easier way. So that was 2015. 2015. I said yes and I from there became a coach and now I teach this

[00:04:20] Homaya: material.

[00:04:22] Homaya: No, super interesting. What was the thing that you feel that you have shifted within you? What was the most important thing? Of course I would say the most important thing is the understanding that it is not outside. Outside does not really exist. It's all within. But then deeper within, what have you recognized?

[00:04:45] Danielle: I just got shivers as you were saying that, and I had no idea this that there was The power was within me, that was huge. And here's the thing. I wasn't new [00:05:00] to this material necessarily. Like when I was in my twenties, I went, I was in India studying with the Dalai Lama and meditating. So I wasn't new to the idea of the inside world.

[00:05:12] Danielle: However I never considered that the outside world was. A reflection of the inside of my inside, I had no idea that I was in control. And as I changed my understanding and my gained awareness of who I truly am, what I truly am. That's when everything started to shift. for me, I had a very limited understanding of that power.

[00:05:47] Danielle: And so I remembered, I learned, I started experimenting with my mind and breath and healing and[00:06:00]

[00:06:00] Homaya: goes on and on. I love the word experimenting because I feel that in the way most of the people living life, They want to be secure. An experiment is saying, I have no idea what is coming and I am willing to take the risk of things coming very differently than what I wish or aim.

[00:06:30] Homaya: And actually it could be that they would not even come as I wish. But then I am going through that experiment. So

[00:06:40] Danielle: When I was first introduced to this material, my mentor, Bob Proctor said, the faster you believe what I'm sharing with you, the faster your life will change. However, it's best not to just believe because I said so. It's best to [00:07:00] take the information, apply it to your own life. And notice what happens next experiment. So I, that was my word. I'm a sci I'm scientists at heart.

[00:07:11] Danielle: Like I love taking the knowledge and working with it and applying and then, and actually being aware of what happens in my life. And so that's really what I did. And then what happened was that's how my life changed there. I have an unknowing now that no one can ever take away from me. Because of the application, because of the experiment.

[00:07:39] Danielle: And for

[00:07:40] Homaya: me, for the other side of experiment, when you are doing an experiment with the dynamic that you have with the universe, that you allow the universe to show up. You are not predicting the way life will [00:08:00] continue. You do not try to control the way life will unfold. So the experiment is saying, I'm doing one, two, three.

[00:08:10] Homaya: Now let's see what you're doing. Let's see what is the return light. And surrender

[00:08:14] Danielle: to that. Yeah. And surrender to that. That's, I can say what I desire, you know what, and I can acknowledge my desires. And for me, I know it's like this, what I think, or something better, because ultimately My inner beings desiring the things that I want.

[00:08:40] Danielle: Let's say it's a material thing like car or a new home or whatever. But ultimately the purpose of that desire is for my growth, for the way, the feeling, the growth at all. I'll have in the process of the getting it's not about that getting [00:09:00] so when I'm working and experimenting with these ideas and processes and I love the process I'm my mind works that way so I love to like you said there's the one two three steps speak it's like I do I be my part.

[00:09:22] Danielle: And I know that the universe matches in a way that's way bigger than what I can actually dream is possible.

[00:09:33] Homaya: How would you guide, how do you guide people in that moment of believing? Because what your teacher told you was believe in he said, believe in what I'm teaching, but actually he said, believe in that as make it your own, make it real and then embody it, really apply it for yourself.[00:10:00]

[00:10:00] Homaya: And sometimes when you play with the universe and you do, okay, I do one, two, three. And the universe is giving you way more than you even could imagine. And for many people, I had it myself several times. There were also several times that I was like, just give it to me. I'm like, you can even give more. But there were times that the patterns Of what we perceive ourselves to be are so anchored that you're just like, Oh, the universe is saying, but this is for you and you shut yourself down.

[00:10:43] Homaya: This point of believing,

[00:10:46] Homaya: this is the biggest, Oh,

[00:10:48] Danielle: it is because you'll never

[00:10:53] Danielle: What you're attracting is based on who you're being. Most of the time, so the [00:11:00] patterns, like you said, that way of showing up, that's really has to shift, doesn't it? And or, and that's the growth that we're talking about. If, sometimes I'll have clients and they'll be like where is it?

[00:11:15] Danielle: Like, why isn't it here yet in my physical world? And it's just. In it's the way that you are habitually seeing yourself, the world, your relationship to the thing that you desire, whether that's more money or more relationships. So that's really the work is that deep. Seeded the beliefs that you have in the subconscious mind that show up habitually because we can consciously, I can consciously say, okay I desire this and this is who I have to be and I can be this person in the morning.

[00:11:51] Danielle: I often say, I seek a person they'll be meditating and in there. Gratitude in the morning and then all day long [00:12:00] they're looking at what's not working or they're focused on what's not there. And that doesn't work, does it? Because the five minutes or the 10 minutes in the morning, when you're in gratitude, it's actually who you're being, the energy in which you're taking your action all day long.

[00:12:17] Danielle: That matters more than anything.

[00:12:19] Homaya: I think that we can refine that a little bit. Because as a healer, one of the things that I keep on telling my students and I experience also myself is, if I go for a meditation for one hour in the morning, for example, that meditation can change my entire life, can change my entire day.

[00:12:41] Homaya: If I go for a healing session, if I come for a coaching session, a mentoring session with you, that one hour with you can change. can be the breakthrough, can be the shift for the entire day after. I echo with the [00:13:00] fact of how the day would unfold, and if I will keep on sabotaging myself, then I can, we can say destroy what I've evolved, what I've went through, what I've received, what I've learned, the healing that I've received and went through.

[00:13:17] Homaya: But at the same time, if I don't sabotage it, If I honor it and respect it, one hour can change the entire life.

[00:13:28] Danielle: Absolutely. Because you've embodied that next level, you've experienced the growth, and then it's about staying in that, isn't it? It's like allowing that healing that you've received or the download, the awareness.

[00:13:43] Danielle: Now you get to act from that new level. You get to be from that new level. Yeah. I, for me, it's very intentional, isn't it? Tell me. Like it's important to, [00:14:00] to say, okay, so this healing session that I've had now with him, I at This did happen and I walk with this knowing now, I walk, I'm embodied with this healed heart, this new way of perceiving the world and any moment if I do feel myself going back into a habitual way or a thought, if it comes up, I have a choice.

[00:14:26] Danielle: Do I go? Do I entertain that? Or do I trust and the new way. And it's intentional.

[00:14:34] Homaya: Yeah. Where am I anchoring myself? Where am I anchoring myself? Am I anchoring myself with the hard work and everything that needs to be done during the day between one healing session to another healing session? Or do I make the truce?

[00:14:52] Homaya: the healing session. Do I make the truth the mentoring session? Do I make the meditation my truth, [00:15:00] my anchor, my source of light, an extension of divine light? And I'm anchoring all my energy there and from there I live. And it could be that, yeah, it could be that I would fail, we can say, to follow, but then I can still, exactly, I can still remember that I'm anchored.

[00:15:26] Homaya: Do you know? Yeah. Tell

[00:15:29] Danielle: me. And because I say so. Because that's my power because I can choose.

[00:15:36] Homaya: Do you remember in our conversation? So for those who are listening, I think it was maybe two months ago, we had a conversation. I was a guest in your amazing podcast. And one of the things we were like, when we were speaking about timelines and time and so on. And that comes again now. This conversation shows up again, for me, inside of me, when I'm listening to it.[00:16:00]

[00:16:00] Homaya: Because we can have different timelines for different time experiences. I had a conversation with a friend of mine. Her child is celebrating seven. My child is soon celebrating nine. And you're like, where did the time just disappear. How could it be nine years or seven years in her case? Because that specific timeline is running in a certain rhythm and in a certain cycle, while other timelines are running a little bit slow.

[00:16:39] Homaya: and different. So it is the same. The timeline of my recurring meditation and inner work can have a certain quality and a certain presence that I create because I said so, as you said, that I create, that I invest, that I [00:17:00] charge. with my intention and with my presence and there could be other timelines and I don't need to make them so important in my life.

[00:17:10] Homaya: They are just me running the patterns, like rendering the patterns into new reality. which will match more what I've tuned into, prayed for, healed for, intentionally created in my capsule of creation.

[00:17:31] Homaya: Yeah. So I think, yeah, this play and we started using this word breakthrough and I feel that when I'm hearing you many times, also I was reading one of your posts where you use this word and it resonated so strong. There was a breakthrough, you met your teacher, there was a moment, he said [00:18:00] something. There were different breakthroughs in your evolution and in your self awareness and inner journey.

[00:18:11] Homaya: What would be your definition of a breakthrough? When a breakthrough is happening, how can we call upon a breakthrough in a shift?

[00:18:19] Danielle: Yeah, so a break through for me has been a moment of time like you've pointed out where everything shifts, although when I look back there It's like I've been prepping for a breakthrough.

[00:18:40] Danielle: There's a lot that happened in my awareness, in my environment that almost got me ready, I would say, was preparing me for that breakthrough moment. And [00:19:00] The break, I don't know if it's something necessarily that we plan, although I believe that I'm always ready for a breakthrough. I believe that in this conversation, it could create that breakthrough for me.

[00:19:16] Danielle: So I'm open as well to That knowing that I have a commitment to my growth and I would invite our listeners to I would imagine that many, if you're listening, you are similar where you are moving forward that you're committed to growth to your evolution. And in that, because of that, they're, we're ready you're staged you're ready for a breakthrough.

[00:19:45] Danielle: Now, for me, this past year, there were many moments of deep healing and learning and many moments where I was faced with obstacles or personal[00:20:00]

[00:20:00] Danielle: opportunities, let's say, for me to learn. More about who I am, use the tools that I've gained over the years. And so because of the, that happening over and over for me in a shorter period of time, I feel like I'm right there prepared for another break. Breakthrough. And it's like drawing a line in the sand.

[00:20:25] Danielle: It's like catapulting, catapulting my awareness, catapulting my results, my outside world, like such a change that it's, everything looks different than the way that it was before because of this.

[00:20:41] Danielle: And yeah, a breakthrough is like, it feels big. Yeah. Tell me again. If the breakthrough, it feels like It's ah, like I've broken through, like I've, this next level and I know nothing is big or small, like it, that it just [00:21:00] feels significant though. It feels like really nothing's the same.

[00:21:05] Danielle: Everything is different.

[00:21:08] Homaya: Yeah. What I love in your definition is that I, when I listen to it, I feel this highlighting that you bring yourself to your breakthrough. You bring yourself with a beautiful combination of surrendering and acting at the same time. Surrendering to the unknown, acting for the unknown, and at the same time also let's add the third layer, which is and those lying in the sand, those are things that cannot continue from here on.

[00:21:47] Danielle: It's that decision, the power of a decision. That, that drawing that line in the sand.

[00:21:55] Homaya: Yes. And in your vision, is a breakdown [00:22:00] essential for a breakthrough?

[00:22:02] Danielle: That's a great question. I don't believe it is.

[00:22:08] Danielle: And I think that we can decide from where we are and at any point that you are poised for a breakthrough or that, like it's that quantum leap. I have recognized in my own awareness, my own personal experience, that I've held that belief for a long time, that a breakdown was necessary to create a breakthrough.

[00:22:37] Danielle: And it's almost like when I'm in the situation, I could I watch myself. I'm aware that I'm like, wow, this is really challenging. On the other side must be really good. Breakthrough. So this past year, a lot of my own personal work has been in letting go of that Phoenix Rising story.[00:23:00]

[00:23:00] Homaya: Do you know what I feel about that? That the breakdown is a call of attention that we as human. got used to. It is, as someone who you were sharing also, you've done so many meditations in your life, as someone who's doing meditation, you know that. Focusing on nothing, focusing on a blank canvas, focusing on possibility, on emptiness, on white is super challenging.

[00:23:36] Homaya: And it is way more easy to focus on the black letters that write the story. So the breakdown is almost like there is a tendency in the universe passing through you now that asks clarity, space, and openness. [00:24:00] And the easiest way that the system is able to do that is focus on negativity and of what is not working.

[00:24:10] Homaya: Minimizing, minimizing, minimizing the presence in order to create. Place for vastness and then showing up for it. What if we invite ourself to have a whole different experience with the unknown? I don't need to disbelieve in you. I don't need to limit myself. I don't need to break what is not working. I'm also can complete it with gratitude.

[00:24:41] Homaya: And stay in the emptiness for this gift that wished to come from the universe forth. It's huge.

[00:24:50] Danielle: It's huge. It,

[00:24:52] Danielle: it

[00:24:53] Danielle: allow it it's part of it is taking that responsibility back. Cause what I noticed as I was listening [00:25:00] to you is I've known that there were things in my past that needed to be completed with gratitude. Like you said, like I was ready intuitively. I knew. And yet it was like, I had the attitude of like riding it out, it's, if it's not broken, don't change, even though, do you know?

[00:25:23] Danielle: So I just continued until I had the breakdown and had no choice but to go that way.

[00:25:31] Homaya: So strong. I echo with the word responsibility. I have a full body shivery. It's really being responsible, in tune, connected to who you are, what you are, your soul contract, your belief that in divinity, your belief in good, that you came here for the best.

[00:25:52] Danielle: And we know, I don't, I, we know. I believe that each of us like knows for ourselves. [00:26:00] So many of those breakdowns that I experienced last year, if I'm really honest, the year prior, I knew that they were ready to be complete. I didn't do, I didn't complete in gratitude. Some, yes.

[00:26:16] Homaya: Yeah, but it's also at the same time an evolution of consciousness that needed to happen. Absolutely. To own this, okay, I overgrew here. I've done enough inner work. I overgrew here. It comes to completion and coming back to this ownership and respect to who we are, that, yeah, there are situations, it doesn't say anything about any people that we love around us, but there are situations where we overgrow,

[00:26:51] Homaya: we still love just the frequency have changed.

[00:26:56] Danielle: That when. That has been a learning for me. The [00:27:00] idea of unconditional love. We still love and the relationship or the way things look can still change. It doesn't mean that I'm not unconditional loving.

[00:27:17] Homaya: On the contrary. It even more means that there's an unconditional love.

[00:27:23] Homaya: We don't need to do something together for me to feel you and for you to feel me. And that, that really needs a lot of responsibility and a lot of presence. And a lot of connection with divinity, with the universe, the way, whomever want to call it. Oh my God. So beautiful. Oh, Danielle, this conversation could, it's, we're just starting, right?

[00:27:48] Homaya: As always. Yes. It's a beautiful conversation. I'm so grateful to have it. And I feel that we, it feels to me like we created a certain layout.[00:28:00] We mapped something in this conversation for people to feel, for us, for you and me, to feel. I don't know when the conversation will be published, but for, we are now recording it in the beginning of 24, and I feel that this is an important.

[00:28:18] Homaya: conversation as we are setting energies for the year, for the next project, for your own inner year, maybe for one of the listeners, today is their birthday or it's coming. So having different attitude towards Initiating change.

[00:28:38] Danielle: Change, yeah, and that word sometimes can scare people, the change, but it's,

[00:28:45] Danielle: it's beautiful and necessary and

[00:28:49] Danielle: part of what it means to be human is to constantly to be open to that change. And know that it's growth.[00:29:00]

[00:29:00] Homaya: Yeah. And that we're fully

[00:29:03] Danielle: supported. That we're fully supported. And I feel that with you in your presence, so thank you for who you are.

[00:29:12] Homaya: I love you so much. I I really appreciate you admire you. It's always such a blessing to be in your presence. Your beauty, your wisdom, your commitment, it's just beautiful.

[00:29:28] Homaya: Thank you for sharing this time with us. Thank

[00:29:31] Danielle: you, thank you, and for your ability to really see and hear truth. I, in your presence, I feel so grounded and heard and seen and felt and connected. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you for being you.

[00:29:55] Homaya: Thank you so much. Amazing.
