2 - Jen Cannon talks cocktails and celeb sightings at the Newport Hall of Fame Open
Jan 03, 2024 Season 1 Episode 2
Jenny Cheifetz

Jen Cannon, Marketing Manager at Harvard University School of Education, is my guest on today's episode. She is a great friend and tennis superfan. We talk about BNP Paribas Showdown, Laver Cup, Newport Hall of Fame Open, USTA League tennis, and so much more!
Jen's Notes from the Sidelines:

  1. Hard work and consistency pay off and create champions.
  2. It is possible to come from obscurity and achieve greatness, as seen here.
  3. Don't be afraid to enjoy a cocktail with a friend on a tennis vacay, even if it does result in legal trouble.
  4. Even professionals want to quit the game after bad losses; some players have poor coping skills, too.
  5. Be sure to have at least one good friend to enjoy watching, talking to, and even playing sports with, especially tennis!

Check out the Felix Auger-Aliassime and Gael Monfils heated match at 2023's Laver Cup here.
