Mental Health Awareness - My Story

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Although I do not ordinarily care about "month" celebrating, mental health is important, more people struggle with it today than ever before and it is something that has affected me in my life. Although I did not mention it in this episode, it was because of watching Episode 4 of the Netflix Series "Clubhouse: A Year with the Red Sox", where the Red Sox player, Jarren Duran, discussed his own struggle with mental health and even his failed suicide attempt, that motivated me to tell my story. If you are struggling with dark thoughts, please reach out for help. You are not weak, you just need a teammate. And always remember, you are worth it. I hope this episode helps you to realize that you are not alone.
