Finding Joy in the Hard
Finding Joy in the Hard is a testament to how incredibly powerful we are.
In this daily podcast, I offer two-ten minute episodes: words of inspiration, thought provoking questions to shift from rigid thought patterns and actionable healing tips.
Once or twice a month, I'll offer interviews with people who have found joy in the hard of life. Those who found their way to light, no matter their circumstances.
I'm your host, Suzanne Andora Barron. I've been teaching yoga, meditation, and mindfulness and mindset for fourteen years. As a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, I teach students how to use the placement of their hands and breath to ease pain and discomfort in their body, support themselves emotionally and balance mind, body and spirit.
Welcome! I'm so excited you're here!

#100 Are you brave enough to be vulnerable to access "gifts hidden in plain sight"
Are you brave enough to let yourself be vulnerable and open your heart to connect to another person?
In today's episode - 100!!!! -- I share a story about how Cathy Heller, author of Abundant Ever After and podcast host of the same name, was out to dinner with her family in July weeks after her father passed. It was a hole in the wall kind of restaurant where the tables are inches from one another. She noticed that the diners next to her were on their first date. We all know how awkward that first date can be. So Cathy offered to purchase them desert.
They reconnected when the woman texted Cathy to thank her. She shared how this was her first date after losing her husband four years ago on July 3rd. Cathy shared that her dad passed weeks before on July 3rd. The beautiful exchange and the synchronicities that transpired were profound. They only happened because Cathy was brave enough to be vulnerable. Listen in to hear more of the details.
Cathy's book, Abundant Ever After, releases TODAY. She shares hundreds of stories and teachings of how we can have more joy, peace and ease in our lives when we connect to the gifts "hidden in plain sight."
