The Commonwealth Beat with Laura LeBeau - Episode 77 - 04/13/25

The Commonwealth Beat with Laura LeBeau is a statewide Public Affairs program airing on all of the Seven Mountains Media Pennsylvania radio stations. 

April is World Autism Awareness Month, and in an expanded conversation, this edition of The Commonwealth Beat  focuses on autism.  Patty Ericson's daughter is 34, and Tom Flynn's son is 33.  Both of these parents are extremely active in the Autism Society of Pennsylvania and will discuss receiving the diagnosis, and what services are available for children on the Autism spectrum in PA.  Both say Pennsylvania is one of the best states in the nation to live in, if you have a person in your family with autism.
