Welcome to today's episode of the Reflective Hour podcast. I'm Tammy Toney-Butler, Healing Evangelist and your host. But we all know who the host of this show is, and that's Christ. Holy Spirit, come have your way in this time that we have together. Oh, may they hear you, Jesus, and not me. May they see you. May they walk with you, dwell with you, seek wisdom from you, receive clarity where there's been confusion, divine insight and understanding. As they have been going through their threshing floor of promise,

they've been being separated, set apart, chosen. Help them to know the way to walk, which way to turn, how to use the tools you've given them, the discernment you've given them. to know the path forward and walk in it. Oh God, in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray and declare all things. Amen.

How many of you have been in a threshing season, a season of crushing,

a season of being battered and bruised?

How many of you have been through terrible things these past few months

and you wonder where God was in your situation?

Is it possible that you were being tested,

separated from sinful things in your life that no longer serve you? Have you been tested so you could seek God a relationship with him and turn to him

and turn away from your rebellious pride?

Have you been tested so you could grow into who he's calling you to be this season?

Do you have pride and you don't even realize it?

Are you suffering in silence over something that happened in the past that you refuse to let go of? Do you have chaff in your wheat?

Do you have the sin of bitterness in your wheat,

in your field? Do you have the sin of unforgiveness, rebellion, pride, envy, those things that will affect your harvest as a leader?

Do you have those things in you? Are you currently on the threshing floor of promise?

Is God calling you deeper with him? deeper levels of relationship, deeper levels of study, getting alone with him, being still in that secret place so he can speak to you and guide you along the path of righteousness for his name's sake.

Let's look at scripture as a guide. It helps us as leaders.

Isaiah 28 starting in 24 going to 29. I'm reading out of the complete Jewish Bible. Does a farmer sewing keep plowing forever? Does he never stop breaking up and harrowing his land?

Some of you in this season have been broken, going through a harrowing process.

A harrow drags the ground, drags the pasture, helps to break up, say, manure so that the grass can grow underneath it and be fertilized and not be destroyed.

Have you been getting broken up this season? Maybe impurities within you coming to the surface so that you can ask the Holy Spirit to help you let go of them. Say, "Holy Spirit, take this bitterness from me. Holy Spirit, take this unforgiveness from me. Holy Spirit, take this anger. Let's get the root gone. I plead the blood of Jesus over the root, even if I don't know what it is. Get it out of me, God. Anything not of you, God, so I can step into all you will have for me this season. Help me to reach the promise, God. Help me to reach it, God. Let's keep reading. No. When he finishes leveling it, he scatters his dill seed, sews his coming, puts wheat in rows, barley where it belongs, and plucks buckwheat around the edges because his God has taught him this has given him instruction.

Adoni is speaking to you. The God of Abraham, Isaac, the and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth, the spirit of Christ is in you. But are you listening

when he's bringing people to into your life to speak life into your life? Are you still holding on to those things that no longer serve you? Because that's all you've ever known. And if you let go of it, you let go of an identity. But I'm here to tell you that identity was not the one Christ gave you. It was not. It was put on you by powerful people in the past that were set out to destroy you. The enemy comes, the devil comes to kill, steal, destroy, and distract. So, you want to remove that false garment placed upon you, that lie, and you want to step into all God has for you this season, and refuse to be clothed with anything that does not serve your kingdom purpose. Take off any garment that was never yours to wear. Say, "Holy Spirit, remove any garment from me that's not of you. Anything people have placed on me for their own agendas, get it off of me, God. Anything that is taking me off the path of the kingdom purpose you have for me, I want it gone, God. I only want to wear the garment you've chosen for me, the mantle you've chosen for me, the things you've chosen for me, God. Everything else, every decept, every source of deception, we cut off its source now in the power of Jesus. Every lying tongue we silence now in the name of Jesus. You will see clearly, you will hear clearly now. And you will know without a doubt this is the way. Walk in it. Let's keep reading. Deal must not be threshed with a sledge or cartwheels driven over coming. rather deal one beats with a stick and come in with a flail. How many of you felt like you've just been beaten down this season? Tested, tested, tested. But yet, I'm here to tell you, you're an overcomer. And through it all, you've let go of things that no longer served you. And you are on the pathway God has chosen for you. But do you see it? Do you know it? Some of you are still scattered trying to find that right path. And God's trying to show it to you. But are you listening? Are you following the spirit or are you following man? Are you following the words of others or are you following the truth that has been spoken to you by the Holy Spirit? Only listening to God as your guide. Only seeking him for your instruction. Deal must be threshed with a sledge or cartwheels driven over coming. Rather deal one beats with a stick and come in with a flail. When crushing grain for bread, one doesn't thresh it forever. See that? one doesn't thresh it forever. The season of threshing is over. Step into your promised land. Step into all God has for you. It is your season. There's no more threshing that needs to take place. The impurities are gone. You are ready. But do you believe it? Or are you going to stay in a field that is not yours? a field that someone else's to plow. Are you going to move from that place that is comfortable to you but is not where God has you? It is not your place. You need to be in alignment with the body. So, make sure you're not trying to plant yourself in a field, in a place that was never yours to be planted in. It was a counterfeit sent by the enemy to get you off your chosen path of promise and destroy your destiny. It doesn't mean it's wrong. It just means it's not for you. It doesn't mean what's going on there is wrong. It just means it's not for you. When crushing grain for bread, one doesn't thresh it forever. One drives the horse and cartwheels over it, but doesn't crush it to powder. God knows at just the right moment to stop the season of testing and move you to the pathway of promise because you're ready. All the chaff is gone, the sin, the impurities, all the things that would open you up to a a corridor or a path that could lead to destruction. Because sin in our lives opens the door to the deception of Satan. He can come through any doorway legally and have a case in the courtroom of heaven if we've left a door open to sin. So we have to remove that from our lives. Repent of it. Ask for forgiveness. Walk away from that thing that no longer serves you that you know is not of God. Have the blood of Jesus cleanse you of all unrighteousness, of any impurity. All case rooms, all cases in the courtroom in heaven dismissed. The accuser of the brethren has no right to accuse you. And you get to walk in kingdom purpose and promise.

Walk into all God has for you this season. refuse to be distracted.

This too comes from Adoni. His counsel is wonderful, his wisdom great. And when I look at the same uh passage of scripture out of the life application uh study Bible, the uh New International Version, I like in 26 it says, "His God instructs him and teaches him the right way." And when I look at the commentary, it spoke to me a little bit, so I want to read it. It says, "The farmer uses special tools to plant and harvest tender herbs so he will not destroy them. This testing season will not destroy you. You will never ever

be tested beyond what you can bear." He takes into account how fragile they are. In the same way, God takes all our individual circumstances and weaknesses into account. He deals with each of us sensitively. We should follow his example when we deal with others. Different people require different treatment. Be sensitive to the needs of those around you and the special treatment they may need. Not everyone we minister to can receive it in the same way. We must understand and take into account all they've been through in their life, where their triggers are,

where their places of hurt are their pain. And we must minister to them in the capacity at which they can receive it. Some need a more forceful delivery. Some need a more quiet, subtle delivery.

But love, the greatest commandment of all, love must be at the heart of everything we do. love, not envy, not pride, not anger, not self-righteousness,

not our own agenda, but love. Showing the love of Jesus to a world in need. This is a time where the remnant is being stretched and tested and tried.

The devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy. It is the devil that tempts us. It is a devil that tempts us. And the devil can gain access through areas of weakness in our life, areas where we've allowed sin and compromise to come in. And in this hour, as we're waiting on King Jesus to come for his bride, we can have no area of compromise. We must be so rooted into the leading of the Holy Spirit,

being guided by the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth, letting the spirit show us the way, letting the spirit open the door. Let us not try to push a door open in a field we don't belong. Let us instead go to the field where we are called to, to a place where we are called to to harvest, and let that door be open to us freely and through the guidance and instruction of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide us as leaders. The Holy Spirit will strengthen us. The Holy Spirit will sustain us. Now, step into all God has for you this season. Know it's time for your season of testing to end. And you are stepping into your kingdom purpose and promise.

Walk with purity. Walk with righteousness. Walk with faith.

Your faith muscle has been stretched. It's large and it's ready. You're ready. You're buff. You're buff. You're ready. It's what Pastor Lynn said at the Fort uh Meyers Christian Outreach Center with her uh sermon uh this past Sunday. She wants that buff angel around her. So, you're buff. You're buff and you're ready. Go now and conquer warrior. That threshing floor is done. You're ready. The chaff is gone. You're ready for the harvest. You're ready to help with the harvest. Step into all God's called you to be this season. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
