Obedience.

Obedience is everything. Complete surrender to the source. Following the light of truth on that narrow path.

Surrender. It's all about surrender.

It's all about surrender. We look in scripture and we look to the story of Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz. And we see in Ruth 1:15-17,

reading out of the Christian Standard Bible, Naomi said, "Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods. Follow your sister-in-law." But Ruth replied, "Don't plead with me to abandon you or to return and not follow you. For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Where you die, I'll die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me and do so severely if anything but death separates you and me. Wow. That speaks of surrender. That speaks of obedience. But it speaks of something bigger, larger. It speaks of love. Love. It speaks of love. Following your greatest love, your only love. Following the love of God, putting him first and loving him. over yourself. A selfless abandonment of self, turning away from the selfie culture of the world and turning towards the only true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our precious Lord Jesus. What are you turning to? What are you looking to? Are you looking to the source of it all? Are you completely surrendered?

Surrender today and enter in to the rest of God. Spiritual rest. Spiritual rest. Enter into spiritual rest,

a sweet rest.

A rest that comes when you surrender.

When you give up your need for control,

for his will, recognizing he never had control, it was a farce.

It was a remnant of your trauma. You trying to force outcomes, manipulate outcomes.

But when you surrender it all through faith, through trust and say, "Never live, nevertheless, not my will be done, but yours, oh God, you step into a sweet place of complete abandonment of self

and become selfless, not selfish. letting go of pride, ego, power, any of those things, your need for those things, your need for people's approval. When you just let go of it all and say, "I'm fully committed and surrendered to God and whatever is planned is for me, I'm going to follow that narrow path that leads to abundant life."

That's this mini teaching he has for you today. A stop along the way of your journey, of your healing journey. A time for you to reflect, to pause, to pray, to seek, to search,

to sit still. and rest knowing God has you. He has you. He has you. He has you. He has you. Just rest now. Rest. Just rest. Just rest. Just rest. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus. Glory be to Jesus.
