Tide Talk: Deliver a Warm Greeting With Jeff & Javon
Welcome to Episode 2 of Tide Talk, a Ride The Wave Foundation original series. These 15-minute audio sessions are short but powerful conversations rooted in the Wave Maker book β and built to transform the way we connect with others.
π This episode is all about the art of the approach β and how to Deliver a Warm Greeting.
Jeff Fisher and Javon Blue break down the power of softening your presence, making eye contact, and giving someone the kind of greeting that lowers walls and builds trust.
π§ In just 15 minutes, youβll learn:
β’ How to greet someone with intention, not just habit
β’ The psychology behind soft body language and eye contact
β’ Why the first 5 seconds of an interaction can change everything
β’ Real mentorship moments from the streets of Morristown
β’ How to use this principle to make people feel safe, seen, and supported
This is one of the most foundational principles in the Wave Maker framework β and one you can apply immediately in your family, leadership, service, or everyday life.
