Leading a School in a War Zone: Sister Rosemary’s Story of Faith, Courage, and Education
🌍 What does it mean to lead with faith — even in the middle of a war zone?
In this unforgettable episode of the Ride The Wave Podcast, host Jeff Fisher and co-host Javon Blue sit down with the remarkable Sister Rosemary, who leads Anchilia Catholic Comprehensive College in Cameroon, Africa.
We met Sister Rosemary through a virtual leadership check-in hosted by Jon Gordon Companies, where Jeff holds a certification in The Power of Positive Leadership. That divine connection turned into a real partnership — and a shared mission to uplift a community facing the unimaginable.
🎙️ In this conversation, you’ll hear:
- What it’s like to run a school in the middle of civil unrest and violence
- How Sister Rosemary has reached and empowered both young women and young men
- Why she could have stayed in the U.S. — but chose instead to go back to serve her people
- Her forward-thinking programs for peace, education, and the next generation
🚗 She even drove 4 hours from Maryland to be on this podcast. That’s the kind of dedication she lives out daily.
