Tide Talk: Nerves Are Normal With Javon & Jeff
Welcome to Tide Talk — a Ride The Wave Foundation short-form podcast series hosted by Jeff Fisher and Javon Blue.
This week, we’re diving into a principle that hits close to home:
👉 Nerves Are Normal
Let’s be real — it’s totally normal to feel nervous before approaching someone. Whether you’re stepping into mentorship, leadership, or just trying to make a new connection, the butterflies are real. But what matters most is how you respond to them.
🎧 In this 15-minute episode, you’ll learn:
• Why nerves don’t mean you’re weak — they mean you care
• How to reframe nervousness into courage
• Practical ways to push through the fear of the unknown
• Real stories from the Ride The Wave mentorship model
• Why boldness and authenticity must walk hand in hand
This conversation will encourage you to step forward — even if your voice shakes — and embrace the power of showing up anyway.
