Tide Talk: Respect Personal Boundaries — How Awareness Creates Safety, Trust, and Human Dignity
Welcome to Episode 9 of Tide Talk — a short-form podcast from Ride The Wave Foundation, hosted by Jeff Fisher and Javon Blue.
This week’s principle is critical in today’s world:
👉 Respect Personal Boundaries
In this thoughtful and eye-opening episode, Jeff and Javon explore what it means to truly respect someone’s space — physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
Whether you're a mentor, teacher, leader, or everyday person in conversation with someone new, this episode will teach you how to read the room, assess energy, and show up with emotional intelligence.
🎧 In just 15 minutes, you’ll learn:
• Why boundaries are a sign of respect, not rejection
• How body language, tone, and timing shape safe communication
• Why awareness of trauma and life experience is key to interaction
• Real mentorship stories and social insights based on the Wave Maker principle
• How showing restraint can open more doors than rushing in
📖 Did you know? Research in social psychology shows that people are more likely to engage and build trust when they feel emotionally and physically safe. Respect is the bridge — and presence is the key.
