Venezuela
Venezuela's Acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, welcomed the decision by the United States to remove her name from the sanctions list, the so-called Clinton list, on which she had been included since 2018.
The lifting of sanctions on Delsi Rodriguez allows her U.S.-recognized government to regain operational control of CITCO and other PDVSA subsidiaries, a key step in normalizing relations between Caracas and Washington as part of a broader process to unfreeze Venezuelan assets abroad.
Iran - United States
Iran responded firmly this Thursday to Trump's Wednesday night speech in which he threatened to return the Islamic Republic to the Stone Age, stating that this war will continue until the humiliation of the U.S., its disgrace, repentance and capitulation.
In addition, Iran once again emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz is not close to the world but remains open to international transit and is only restricted for the United States and its allies' considered enemies.
Argentina
In Argentina, the Teachers' Union succeeded in suspending articles of the labor reform promoted by the far-right pro-U.S. Millet, a reform that dismantles workers' rights achieved over more than a century of struggle.
After learning of the judiciary's ruling, the Argentine Teachers' Union stated that it is essential to guarantee fair wages and adequate conditions for the educational process and not to restrict the collective rights of Argentine workers.
