Bolivia

In Bolivia, roadblocks have more than doubled in recent days, rising from 62 to a 150, according to the national police, as discontent grows with the right wing neoliberal government of president Rodrigo Paz and calls for his resignation continue. Meanwhile, in the tropical region of Cochabamba, a power outage was reported during a failed attempt to kidnap former president, Evo Morales, a night, according to social organizations. 

Ecuador

Ecuador, according to a recent report by the international organization, ACLED, went from having 24 criminal groups in 2023 to 37 in 2025. And the human rights defense committee of Guayaquil denounces that as a result of Ecuador's prison crisis, a 100 inmates are dying every month in 2026.

Venezuela

Venezuela's acting president, Delcey Rodríguez, reaffirmed her government's determination to fight for economic independence and rule out any possibility of surrender. The president reiterated her call for national unity to advance Venezuela's economic recovery.
