Life is a journey - how to shift from outcome to process
On this episode of the Body, Brain & Soul Podcast I discuss the simple but transformative shift from focusing on the outcome to focusing on the process.
Life is a journey, not a destination (to quote an Aerosmith song) - but it's true. When we begin to allow ourselves to experience the journey as the means for creating the destinations on our treasure map of life, we tap into a greater capacity for everything we desire.
A few ways you can lean into this transformation:
1. Break down your goals into small, everyday actions that require practice and daily commitment.
2. Take moments throughout your day to simply notice what's happening in the life around you. Breathe in and breathe out and orient yourself to your internal and external environment. Notice the journey in this moment.
3. Check in with why you want to your desires and how you think it'll make you feel? Then notice throughout your day when you already feel that way and the ways in which your desires are already here.
