We've prolonged it long enough. Um city of the last time we were here, we were just on pins and needles and just filled with anticipation for the start of the real housewives of Potomac and for the start of maritamedicine. Featuring fager parks, featuring a very low feature fager parks. We're probably maybe about halfway. We're probably a little more than halfway because we're married. Maritameda is on their trip, yeah, they're on their trip, and they've already filmed the reunion, filmed the reunion, right, and Potomac is about to go on their trip, um, and I think the reunion films in a couple of weeks. Okay, um, how are you feeling? I? So I have a strategy for going through this. I think we should just go cast down the cast list. Okay, that'll work.
Speaker 1:Yes, um, but any like initial reactions or boring for both shows, both, both of them boring, mm-hmm, I don't know. Know, I can't say what's missing, because nila, no, I'm just child listen. And then so I was scrolling and I completely forgot about, uh, what's her name? Audra? Oh, I did too, until you, just completely and when she was on last season, right, totally forgot about her, totally forgot about her. But um, um, why, I can at least say for married to medicine, they are missing some people that they need to add back in. But both, both shows are just very boring. Um, story lines are just blah and um, yeah, they need to do something. They need to do with. Elena is trying to do the reboot. Yeah, they need to do a reboot because it's yeah, uh, you want to start with Potomac or married to me? Um, we can serve with Potomac. Yes, I feel like, because there's been even. I feel like we might have some sparks coming up with married to medicine. Hopefully, really see it. Yeah, for Potomac.
Speaker 1:No, all right, so we're gonna start with my favorite but the least interesting this season jizel brian, the queen of boredom. You didn't throw in this this young man that is he like the same age? No, listen, I don't know anything about that man. She doesn't either. I'm convinced. Um, I don't know.
Speaker 1:It's just really cringe when she is like, um, because her and her daughter were somewhere, she like let's call what is his name? Jason. I think she's like let's call jason and her daughter's like, uh, because when you call him on the phone with your oldest daughter sitting right there and they look like they are the ones that she'd be dating. It's very, very cringe. It's very cringe. Here's the thing. I'm not trying to be in the background of the conversation that my mother's having no face time with my dad, like what, and I want to be a part of this. And why are we calling him right now? Because she is contractually obligated to put him in at least x amount of scenes, exactly. I feel that, um, so let's see.
Speaker 1:So, jizel, I heard she's sending the oldest off to college. She's sending the oldest off to college. The twins are seniors this year. So I will say she's transitioning and life is difficult for her to be super engaging, um, as she is shifting to being an empty nester and she has been very, uh, cognizant of not really having her children on the show, really, right, unless it's like a nail, yeah, prior to okay, yeah, so I think it's like letting them, you know, transitioning them off. That's a lot. I think that's a lot.
Speaker 1:And she's about to be all by herself, all by her and her new fitness fitness line. How does this come about? They both like to work out. I don't know, do they? Because every scene that I, whenever they go and do anything. As far as physical activity, giselle is well, she swims, oh, oh, oh, ah. Or I remember you got to work out in the pool. Yeah, that's fine. I mean, she's a fit woman. She looks good in the elizado jumpsuits. I can't pull it off at all. But I'm getting close, I'm hitting these squats, baby Cause, let me tell you something about this one right here. Big B Tradition was in that class doing the damn thing. Listen, I said you go, girl, I'm going to take a seat Cause I'm winded. I was going there, but yeah, that was just really weird. That was her and Ashley and their little fitness line and the fact that it's a fitness line cause.
Speaker 1:Not only when I think of fitness, I don't think of Giselle. Also, when I think of fashion, I do not think of Giselle. That is the best. And I don't think of Ashley Darby either, at all At all and the what. I'm just not going to go Speaking of Ashley Darby, let's start there.
Speaker 1:Ashley Darby, how are you feeling about Ashley Darby? Nothing, just like her storyline. I forgot she was around for a while. Oh my God, why are you here? Why are you here, ashley? Because this is her income. I mean cause she has at all. And if my whole thing is, if this is your income, you got to give a sum. Ashley Granted, I'm pretty sure that Mr Darby has made it very clear.
Speaker 1:You do not mention me at all. Oh, I mean, all right. Do you think they are going to get divorced? Not really, no, unless unless he goes and does it like and when I say if he goes and does it, if Ashley stops screwing him and he finds another young tenderoni and that's what he wants to be at it and he'll drop her ass like a bad habit and keep it moving. But on Ashley's part, absolutely not, absolutely not. Listen, that's a golden goose. I want me to try to kick it out. Listen, I'm just gonna be 100%. Yeah, speaking of women with golden goose, is Mia. Let's talk with Mia. Oh, I feel for Mia this season. On what part? Okay, all right, here we go.
Speaker 1:I know that it looks like Mia divorced Gordon because he didn't have any more money. Okay, and I'm not saying that that didn't factor into it, okay, but I don't think that that's the main reason why she divorced Gordon. I think she divorced Gordon because if that is how you will treat your family, it's only a matter of time. That's how you will treat your siblings. It's only a matter of time before you treat me like that. And in the last week's episode, when they go on their day-date which, how far the mighty have fallen that I must go on a date while your children are at school. Yes, because that is your childcare. Yeah, and that's no shame, like no shame in that, right, but when we remember Mia coming to the show, she would have never let herself get in that situation, never and okay.
Speaker 1:So do you think that? Do you think she really likes Gordon? I do think she has love for Gordon, okay, but did she like him? Like, I wake up and I don't mind looking at your face. Do I think you know? I don't know, I don't know Cause I say that, to say because she has love for him. Yeah, but the like part was I don't think she likes him right now in the recording of the season, because he doesn't have any more money. I don't think she likes him because he doesn't have any. I don't think she likes him now because of his behavior and he doesn't have money to put her in a place where she would forgive his behavior. That, and that's what I'm saying. That's what I was getting to. Okay, all right, so we'll be in the middle there. Yes, we're there on that. That's Mia Now.
Speaker 1:Now it's getting a little difficult to go up the ladder. We've talked a lot about this woman already. We have, so maybe we can just Robin Dixon. I'm just gonna slide right in. Well, yeah, I don't. It's the same with Robin, from when the season very start, very first started, how the energy she gave the rest of the ladies.
Speaker 1:Ma'am, give that to your husband. Don't shoot the messenger. Don't shoot me. I'm your friend. I actually care about your feelings. He don't.
Speaker 1:Oh, man, and the and the scenes where, again, juan is obligated to be there Cause, juan, you don't have no job. Listen, these men are contractually operated. Yeah, and Juan, you don't have a choice. You don't have a job anymore, sir. So you know what Robin, juan's gonna show up and he's gonna sit there Like I'm just here, so I won't get fired Cause I need this check. That's all he's giving us this whole season.
Speaker 1:But Robin is the same thing. You're blaming everybody else, you're mad at everybody else but wine, and it is so cringe to watch. It's so for Giselle to sit there, and Giselle out of all people. She said they had an intervention. Y'all be forgetting Giselle's stage intervention. And not only did she stage this intervention, she invited Cherise Jordan to it. She's so tired, exhausted. Cherise looks tired. Eddie put her through a lot, but how long have they been divorced? He put her through enough for four marriages, clearly, because mother always looks exhausted. She's also living the life that Giselle is headed for. She's an Indian. Cherise has this big beautiful home. She's just her. Her kids are gone. She's beautiful gowns, beautiful gowns, everywhere Beautiful gowns. So Giselle does care and I empathize with Giselle because that's how I am.
Speaker 1:Once I bring it to your attention, you tell me you want to be an idiot. You want to ignore it? Cool me too. Okay, because you ain't. We're not about to fall out, because you're not going to hold this nigga accountable At all. I'm cool.
Speaker 1:And she gets so upset and gets defensive, like even when they were in the car and Candice brought up the fact that John was in a legal and you were talking about it and you were like you're trying to set out a fire, miss ma'am. It didn't help it. But again, it didn't help it. Candice, that is none of your business. Why are you talking about? It has nothing to do with you. You going that tour, you promote deep space, she will. You decide if you're going to freeze your eggs, baby. That's it, that's it and that's all.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but yeah, as far as Robin goes, just like I said in the past episode, my feelings are not different at all about her. Bless her heart, bless her. Bless her, bless her heart. I just I don't. Do you think, karen? Why do you think Karen had the picture of Robin's family and her? Because Karen is so messy. But, karen, I feel like, and so, and you know what, when they pulled it up, I was like I'm trying to think of a text message that she sent, because she said that you know, robin, they have two kids, look clock. Because it was a picture of Robin, the boys and Robin's parents, which is also really weird. Why did you pick the picture of Robin's parents and see? That's why I'm trying to think of the context, of who she sent that picture to or what she said Girl, you know why is Mary?
Speaker 1:He got two kids. Here she goes. Here's her family, right here, robin is black. Here go her parents. Yeah, those are the. That is that. That was it. Yeah, she's black, she is. Yeah, there's her parents. Yeah, don't, no, no, no, you're cheating on a black. This is a black woman's husband. Let me show you. I promise she's not white, I promise. Look at her parents. So, okay, yeah, oh yeah, I'm so thankful, so thankful.
Speaker 1:Karen, karen, hugo, first of all, karen, this is what I will say. I love Karen. She can do no wrong, but you're tripping for getting upset with someone for being like bro. It was really disrespectful for you to ask me to go on this trip 12 hours before we're supposed to leave. Oh, yeah, when she got the, the insurance insurance increase, which I don't, karen does a lot of shit. That just doesn't make no sense. Karen be lying, she. And that's the reason why. Because Karen be lying, because I think what she was trying to do was to get because originally it was Giselle, ashley, ashley, wendy.
Speaker 1:She didn't. She was trying to be shady to Robin and Mia. She was trying to be shady to them, but she was trying to get them in the same space, so she can try in whatever. Yeah, I honestly think she was trying to get Wendy and Giselle together in hopes that they will make up, or is she trying to do it for the show? Do you really think Karen be trying to do stuff to try and, you know, make everybody come by? I think the show would be better if Wendy and Giselle I think the show would be not Wendy and Giselle.
Speaker 1:I didn't think that that tension is good. The tension between Candace and Giselle needs to be resolved. It does, yeah, and I honestly think, like she invited people, she invited Ashley because she felt like Ashley would feel like an ally to Giselle, and I'm going to invite Wendy and Candice in hopes that we all work together, be on my family land and we can squash some of this. I do genuinely think that that was her intent, but Erin is shady as hell. She's why we love her, and so, instead of just flat out saying that to the women, I think she made this excuse about which is horrible, this insurance and then, when Giselle said she wasn't gonna come, well, then it didn't make sense not to open it up to everyone. So then I did. Erin is such a bad liar. Yeah, she really is. She's paying for that blue check on X too. How about Padra anything? Yes, you are so really quickly, since we're talking about them going on this trip and being on this bus.
Speaker 1:This is one of the reasons why Giselle annoys me, because one of the many she had mentioned that she would not be on a bus with was it Candice? Because that's who she's before, right, now. Right, well, she's got issues with Candice and Wendy. Yeah, because she would not do that because her safety. Would you be on a bus with Candice? I can handle Candice. If me and Candice were in the same space. I could handle Candice. But this is my issue with Giselle the energy that Giselle gives Candice and Wendy, like they're just these big bad thugs and she's in fear for her life, but she don't give that same energy to.
Speaker 1:She told y'all, I like Mia, I don't like y'all. And so here's my thing, because I would not be on a bus with Candice and Wendy either if I was in that situation, because I don't like them. So I don't like you, and nothing is stopping me from popping you in the mouth, because both of those women, both of those women go too far. Well, here's what I was saying no, wendy doesn't go far, candice does. Candice goes too far. Wendy does this like I actually am not gonna argue with you. So I'm gonna say really insulting thing. I don't like something like that. Wait, this disclaimer I don't like any of them.
Speaker 1:I just want you guys to know this. I don't like none of them. Thanks for clearing that. I don't like none of them. I'm team nobody. I just don't like where you like draw this line, because her whole thing is is how aggressive they are. But I'm like.
Speaker 1:Me is the same way though, but, like you said, she likes me. I like Mia. Yeah, she likes me. Mia is that way, but me and Mia are cool. She's not gonna be that way to me. Y'all are in a heartbeat, so now, I'm cool. Yeah, I don't like it.
Speaker 1:Listen, it's a double standard. Candice is right, it's a double standard. The line changes, but we do that to all the people we don't like. Think about it. I'm constantly late to everything. You don't be tripping. Let it be somebody you don't like. Who? Me, not me, because I don't really want you to be there. Why am I waiting on you? I'm here, the party has started. I don't give a damn what time you go, cause you don't like them, but if it was me, you will be like oh, it's my friend. Exactly, I don't know, that's just.
Speaker 1:I just don't like how she and again it's the levels that she goes to Cause when the whole thing happened, when Monique snatched Candice, and how you had to have security, secure it at least Wholeheartedly Cause to this day, I see nothing wrong with any Monique's saying you need to come back. Guns are blazing, but your whole thing is violence and you did this whole thing about violence. And again, mia was violent. But since that's your, since you like her and that's your friend, double standard, you're okay. Yeah, so I feel like I mean listen, a double standard. I mean I'm not in support, but do I have some? I get it, though, I get it, yeah, so, anyway, okay, what's up?

Yeah, and now you're like but Nekka, period, she can go. Yeah, I think I don't. I understand. She lives in Potomac and beautiful home.
Speaker 1:There's so much that's not like curling over for me about Nekka. Like, how are you inviting me over for a pajama party during the day To unpack your wedding gifts from two years, two years of all? I'm not doing. I'm not coming to your house to unpack, absolutely I don't know you. My friends have known me for over 10 plus years, know that if it's something involving packing, make city of your last resort. I'll come if you really really, really, really, really need me. But, yeah, like, if you really like it. Like, oh my god, call on Jesus before you call on me, but they know this about me. I Will hire movers before I come into it. I just am. You don't know. I don't know you.

Why are you so mad and like in the preview oh, you caught my mother a witch girl. You've called your mother worse than that exactly for the smallest thing. Speaker 1:Anything you want to say about Quad, we missed you, quad. We did miss you. We miss you talking in monologues because it's so entertaining. The show needs you. Yeah, it really does. You need to be on somebody's television.
Speaker 1:I'm not even a huge Quad fan, but this season has shown me that Quad needs to be on that show. Oh Hardly. She needs to be there the way they did her, even though and this is another thing that I've noticed that production does not take time to plan out marriage to medicine. They just throw shit. They really do. Because that whole thing with her coming on the trip, because, let's be clear, where are we at? On marriage to medicine, what are we? Season eight, nine, 10? Have we ever known Toya to be like, oh, let's kumbaya. Never, never, that's my hard damn. And then for Quad, though, quad, who has called her husband Eugina Is that what she called him? Eugina, eugina, eugina. And you're telling me that she would go above and beyond to invite Quad on her business trip. Basically, to man, get the fuck up out of here Like tap play. Here's the thing, right? Simone definitely didn't know that Curtis was cheating in Hilton Head. That did not cross Simone's mind. No, but production did. Production, that's what I'm saying. They are not, I don't know who it is, but they don't give a fuck, they like we just going to throw out of shit out. I mean, obviously, the addition of Phadra Parks, which I love. Phadra Parks, stan, phadra Parks I think I've stood Phadra Parks on every episode of this podcast.
Speaker 1:So do you think she's coming back to Melinda? I think she should, since Candy's gone. What's keeping her from there? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. And her on Marry to Medicine is not a good fit. She does not fit with those women. No, she doesn't fit and I feel like she's. We cannot get the full essence of lioness Phadra Parks. I love how that again a double standard, because Karen lioness, stop it. But that Phadra, that lioness Phadra, bring her back, put her on television. I need that lioness Phadra back. But yeah, she's not a good fit to Marry to Medicine.
Speaker 1:Apparently, heavenly said that during the reunion Phadra laid into her ass. Apparently she should have. I was waiting for it the whole damn season. That's why I was excited when they said Phadra was going to be on the show, because I said, oh, heavenly, didn't met her match. I can't wait for it. Yeah, I can't. I cannot wait for it. Sign me up, do it twice. But yeah, hopefully, since Candy has said she's not coming back to Atlanta, they gone ahead and hire Phadra back. Yes, because she doesn't need to be on Marry to Medicine.

Toya, I hope, though, watching this season back you, I get it, not being content with what you have, but she's bored, she's so bored, she's so bored. I don't think she's bored enough to where she would cheat on Eugene. I think that maybe I don't know what she cheated on, eugene, I don't. I think she's being so critical that it's making it hard for Eugene to be successful. Well, yeah, that's been like there for a while, she working the shit out. That mean it's tired, but yeah, I just think she's very, she's very bored Just doing the same thing. So I don't I really don't know what's going to happen with Toya.
Speaker 1:Eugene, anything to say about Sweet Tea? Actually, let me say this Sweet Tea, you don't got to hang out with them. Old ass women, you don't, you don't, I wouldn't, you don't got to hang out with them. Old ass women, I wouldn't. They are a bunch of old bitter, just yeah, and I watch them on TV and enjoy them. You don't have to hang out with them. You do not have to hang out with them. Just because you're married to Greg does not mean you have to be in this inner circle with them. Then I really deserve you. They don't.
Speaker 1:If he's going to go hang out with their husbands, guess what? Ok, I'm going to have a self-care day. I'm going to the spa, I'm going to do this day and the third. You do not have to hang out with them. And they're not your friends and I know they're not, but they're definitely not your friends, because at any point that they get mad at you, they bring up his ex-wife. You don't have to hang out with those old ass women. Don't put yourself through that no more. Yeah, they bring up his ex-wife. They bring up the fact that Put Sweet Tea on Real Hot Swies of Atlanta.
Speaker 1:Let her try it there, because I don't want to be like, oh, sweet Tea, you shouldn't be on TV or anything like that. I don't even know if she's ready for it. Give her another run or something if she just really wants to do this. But do not be with the Sweet Tea. Do not go back on Mary to Medicine next year. Enjoy your husband, Enjoy being married, but being on Mary to Medicine is just no.
Speaker 1:And the fact that they know that you're not prepared for this and they constantly just go at you in the end I'm sorry I was cracking up like she was like fuck you. I don't think I'm like audibly cartoon gasp like that in a long time. When she was like say what you want to say, sweet Tea was like fuck you bitch. But it wasn't even that. It was Jackie saying I'm going to handle this little girl later. That made me clutch my pearls.
Speaker 1:To me that was almost as disrespectful as what she said to you, because it was so y'all are even, y'all are even and they're trying to see and what I see from the next episode. They're trying to make like a big deal out of this. But no, jackie, you were just as disrespectful to her. That little girl said that little girl stuff. Yeah, it's very condescending and you crossed the line. So, yeah, it just. I just really want to sweet tea to land her ass, but sweet tea can't do that, she can't, she can't. She can't Because, to be honest with Jackie, needs is what Heavenly would give her, but Heavenly is her pit bull.
Speaker 1:So, yeah, and Heavenly needs that right. Heavenly, I don't know what heavenly needs, but, lord, send it. Only you can, please, please. She needs friends. That's why she, because that whole scene where Simone caught heavenly and she's I'm not coming, because this, this is too much, because, heavenly, why are you acting like Curtis cheated on you? I Don't. Are you acting like it's your marriage? Why are you acting like it's your marriage, like In it, cuz that's where daddy was cheating on me. Yet no, no.
Speaker 1:And again, I don't know if they said this on the show or if it was on Carlos King, but it was it that somebody asked heavenly, do you think you and Jackie would be as close if her and Simone was not beefing?
