the person I met there, and this is what I was doing here. 00:01:24.400 --> 00:01:32.319 And as I as I go through the calendar, I just keep my legal pad beside me, and I I write down things like, wow, special thing that Margaret and I did during that year, and I put it together, and then one night during that week I I pull her aside for dinner and I sit down with my list and I go through everything and live a life every day, not a day that kind of where I try to accept my day, but uh, but a day where I lead my day, where a day where I I focus on making sure that uh I really really put my couple of years ago, I was privileged to open, do the opening session at the United Nations in New York. 00:07:38.319 --> 00:07:47.519 And so I was speaking to all the leaders, the ambassadors of every country, and and I wanted to be sure to give them a message that they could that would really help them with their with their countries. 00:07:47.600 --> 00:07:54.800 And and so I did a lesson that was basically entitled Three Questions Every Follower Ask of a Leader. 00:07:55.519 --> 00:08:06.000 And I shared with them, regardless of their culture, regardless of uh of where they were in the world, I would promise them that the people of their country, every leader within that country, they would be asking their leaders these three questions. 00:08:06.079 --> 00:08:09.439 And the three questions are simple Do you care for me? 00:08:09.759 --> 00:08:12.160 If somebody's gonna follow you, they want to know if you care for them. 00:08:12.240 --> 00:08:15.439 Who wants to who of Jesus valuing people, but the one I love so much is the one that we know so well, the prodigal son. 00:09:47.519 --> 00:09:51.039 We know all about him messing his whole life up, but he's in a pig pen now. 00:09:51.360 --> 00:09:54.159 Asking himself, what's a Jewish boy like me in a pig pen? 00:09:54.879 --> 00:10:02.960 And he says, I'm gonna go home to my dad, and but he's he said, if I'm gonna go home to my dad, I've got to have a speech prepared because I've certainly messed up my life. 00:10:03.039 --> 00:10:04.639 And his speech was very simple. 00:10:04.879 --> 00:10:10.159 He said, I'll say to him, Father, I've sinned against God, I've sinned against you. 00:10:10.720 --> 00:10:13.679 I don't deserve to be called your son. 00:10:15.759 --> 00:10:16.879 And he practiced it. 00:10:16.960 --> 00:10:19.360 And I know he practiced it because you follow the story. 00:10:19.440 --> 00:10:22.960 It says when he came to his father, he fell down and immediately said this speech. I've I've sinned against God, I've sinned against you, I don't deserve to be called your son, I've sinned against God, I've sinned against you, I don't deserve to be your son, I've sinned against God, I sinned against you, I don't deserve. 00:10:37.919 --> 00:10:42.879 He practiced, practiced it, and when he got to the father, he just fell down and he said, he gets his speech out. 00:10:42.960 --> 00:10:45.120 Oh, I I don't deserve, I don't deserve to be your son. 00:10:45.200 --> 00:10:51.600 I I there were only two people that believed that he didn't deserve to be called his father's son. 00:10:51.759 --> 00:11:11.039 The prodigal that was on his knees in a repentance stage, and the older religious brother, who said, You know, I've worked so hard and I've I've done so much for you, father, and and and and you're giving a party to to the to the kid that that went home. 00:11:12.000 --> 00:11:23.679 And I have a message for you in 2015, and the message is beautiful about God
