I've really been enjoying getting to know these people. Some people I knew, some people I don't and exactly get to know. Everybody has such a great story.

That has been something that's been new personally, at least, yeah, as of late. But just to bring it full circle, thank you and welcome to this journey as we explore the lifestyle, the highs and lows and everything in between.

So today folks, we are just coming off of Halloween, which for most of the lifestyle world is what you'd consider a high holiday, kind of a high holiday basically. Yeah, high holiday. That New Year's. Mm-hmm. Of course we were at home and our home being the Scarlet Ranch here in Colorado.

Elle:

Mm-hmm.

Tramp:

And we have quite a few adventures from that weekend

Jay:

that we do. It was a stellar year. Three years ago, the ranch got hit with a snow storm on Halloween, over 2000 people, and they were all indoors and it was elbow to elbow. But this year, the weather, gods agreed it was a 70 degree day here in Denver and perfect night, and a third of the people in attendance over 2200 were outside for most of the night,

Elle:

but. Before we talk about Halloween, we should talk about Friday night.

Jay:

Yeah, the pre

Halloween party.

Jay:

Tramp:

that was quite an evening. So anytime there are events, there are smaller events around the main event, if you will. And we were lucky enough to be invited to a house party on Friday evening. Indeed, we were some fantastic friends of ours.

Elle:

They had some friends in from outta town from Dallas and wanted us all to meet them and got a wonderful group of people together, and it was probably maybe 25, 30 people.

Jay:

What was great is that they didn't even blink when we asked if we could bring tramp with us. They didn't even hesitate,

Elle:

you know? Oh. I think they were excited to bring. For us to bring tramp.

Tramp:

You know, that could be a pro tip for some of the hopefully successful single gentleman that listen is in the lifestyle. It's all about the networking and Having that. Reputation as being, not only fun to talk to, but respectful.

Elle:

Mm-hmm.

Tramp:

You make friends with couples and they're gonna invite you to their own parties.

Elle:

Yes.

Tramp:

And by the same token, they're going to introduce you to other people,

other couples, other single women.

Tramp:

Precisely.

Elle:

And you weren't the only single gentleman there. No, I was not our good friend. Sly Ingleton was also there for the exact same reason. Mm-hmm. You know, good solid single men that add to the party.

Jay:

Yeah. And of course we were all there. Great spread. They have a beautiful house.

Elle:

Mm-hmm.

Jay:

Really is big playroom downstairs, we'll mention later. And then our friend from out of town who, if you listen to the previous episode, Cece CE

Elle:

came. She came right from the airport.

Jay:

Right from the airport. I saw her coming up the walk, opened the door, grabbed her big heavy suitcase and party was on for her.

Elle:

Yeah. And she was a welcome addition as well.'cause it was funny to see almost like little moths to the flame. The other ladies kind of scooting around here. I was gonna take her around and to introduce her, and then I got caught up with somebody and she was not a problem.

Tramp:

She's a rock star. Well, I was gonna say, let's be honest, she is gorgeous. She's

stunning. And just has such a great energy about her, really easy for her to feel welcome and to just make friends right off the bat.

Jay:

Wonderful sense of self.

Jay:

You know, she's fit. She's pretty, she's smart. She's experienced. She ist a wallflower. No, she doesn't need to be. No,

Tramp:

I don't think the. Other attendees of the party would've let her be a wallflower even if she tried. Oh God, no. Don't think so.

Elle:

No, she was good. Yes. I felt bad'cause I didn't get to walk her around. And then I looked at, I'm like, oh look, five people surrounding her talking to her. I think she's good. So that made me feel better.

Jay:

Well, and you two clicked. We did Really happy to see that and we'll get into more of that later. But you two really clicked right from the start.

Tramp:

We did, and I'll be honest, I was a little intimidated. A lot of it was, she was kind of the shiny penny. Yes. You know, very, very gorgeous. And people just as you said, Jay, people gravitated toward her. Yeah. And so I, introduced myself and we spoke for a moment, but I didn't wanna monopolize her time

Elle:

Well, because you're a kind person like that.

Tramp:

Believe me, I would have, but I, I don't think tramp has ever used the phrase. How you doing? Yeah,

Elle:

Jay:

But the party was great. At one point the out of town guest who's been there many times said, oh, you guys haven't seen the playroom. And so he escorted the two of us down there. Big, big space. Big sectional couch. They've got a big round bed. Everything covered in like, faux fur.

Elle:

Yeah. Apparently once their boys left for college, they converted it right away into a fun little playroom. Yeah.

Jay:

Sex chair, swing. I mean, if everybody at the party was down there playing, it wasn't gonna be crowded. Yeah. It really wasn't. And the three of us, one thing led to another, started with kissing, and she's kissing him and I'm kissing the back of her neck and. Next thing you know, she's on her knees. No. We had asked the, our party host, was this supposed to be a play party? And, and his response every time was, if it happens, it happens, it'll go organically. And we're like, okay, well we can respect that.

Yeah. Not a party Where at 10 o'clock. Okay. Girls all change into lingerie, right? Or, okay, everybody get naked. It was. We came from upstairs and some guests had already left.

Jay:

Bunch of people were in the hot tub and just very content not playing, just chilling and relaxing. Yeah. And we had such a great vibe from the four of us. I apologize that I didn't say goodnight to our host and hostess.

Okay. So I'm the bad guy here. I'm not sure how I feel about that. But then we came back home.

And we played for a good couple hours.

We did. And it was pretty, I have to be frank, it was pretty amazing.

I believe. I said, I thought you guys were going to sleep. That was the nice response. That was the retort. Yes, it was. But that I have to say was quite frankly, an amazing start to that weekend.

Elle:

Yeah. With a bang, with a bang. Couple of bangs. Don't you just roll your eyes at me, Jay.

Jay:

There's no proof of that. And then of course the ladies, did their podcast.

Yeah. So Cece got up and we had a little breakfast and she was ready to go. I, unfortunately, when I don't have tramp here to keep control of things, I don't do the best job of recording. I was so focused on just making sure I hit the record button this time. And so I apologize, my speaker was a little wonky. Throughout. So listen to the message, not how it's kicked out there.

Jay:

But it was hard to hear you sometimes.

Elle:

Yeah, I know.

Jay:

But then Cece gets up and boom, it's such a beautiful day. She goes out and runs, what, eight miles?

Elle:

Yeah. She went and ran eight miles.

Jay:

we did not.

Jay:

We do. I I haven't run eight miles since the Marine Corps. Thanks. I'm good with that. But then we had to get ready for the party

Tramp:

We did. The ranch is pretty amazing. They have this area out front as I learned this year, this is the first year I've witnessed it call. They call the corral.

Elle:

Mm-hmm.

Tramp:

And it's typically an extra parking area or sometimes people who are traveling, say with an RV or a camper for example, that's where they let them park. But. We went and got pre-checked in for the evening, got our wristbands, and tried to beat the rush because, and this is true for I'm sure any lifestyle club on Halloween evening. The lines are insane with. Not only dirty vanillas who are like, Hey, let's go check out this sexy place we heard about.

Elle:

Mm-hmm.

Tramp:

Where they have to fill out all the paperwork and pay their entry fees and membership fees, et cetera, et cetera. So that was really cool. Where you had a whole group of, I'm assuming pre partying. Yeah. They, they were basically tailgating. Tailgating, yeah.

Elle:

Tailgating for the big Halloween party. Yeah. People are

Jay:

walking around naked, they're just, they're grilling, they're sharing food, they're drinking. This started at. Two o'clock.

Elle:

Yeah, it was like about two, two or three and a good solid four hours before the ranch opened up. But it's a good place for everybody to just sort of, you know, start getting mm-hmm. Their party going. Mm-hmm.

Tramp:

Well, it's that, and I think it's just almost like a Sunday fun day. It's just as much of a social Yes. Atmosphere. A hundred percent. People are talking and carrying on, whereas later on the evening between the music and all the people. Yeah. It's hard. The, the chances of you having a meaningful conversation lessen quite a bit.

Elle:

This is true. Yes, this is true.

Jay:

I'll agree with that.

Mm-hmm.

Jay:

And then back at the house, girls doing their hair and their makeup. Yep. And getting all sexy.

Elle:

Yeah. Well, it takes work.

baby. But I know Tramp had his own options for costumes, but he came over and dug through our totes of many totes of costumes and found himself kind of a sexy little toga.

We go ahead and head over to the ranch and we get there fairly early. I wanna, we get there early, say six ish.

Elle:

Yeah. We tend to on the high holidays, we'll get there a little after six when they open. Only because by about eight or nine o'clock those floors gonna be packed. And I don't think we've stayed much past 10 o'clock previously.

Jay:

Well, it was so crowded

Elle:

because it's so crowded. Yeah. But now, like you had said earlier, a third of the people were out back and. Mulling around and the weather was so nice. I mean, I can't believe the Colorado weather Gods granted us.

Jay:

Almost everybody dressed Yes. Of the 2200 guests.

Elle:

Yeah.

Jay:

Yeah. Some amazing costumes.

Elle:

Oh yeah. They have a costume contest and I think it was a tight one between the leg lamp and the bunny costume from a Christmas story to the mermaid. Who was wheeled in on her own net with a giant

Jay:

hook through her chest, giant

Elle:

hook through her chest. I mean, that takes commitment.

Jay:

And he's the, the Gloucester fisherman. Yeah. Yeah. And I think they did win. They did win. Yeah. That was,

Elle:

there was some, there was some really, really good costumes for sure.

Jay:

I would almost venture to say that in terms of Halloween costumes and lifestyle. Less is always more.

when it's gonna be so many people and it's so hot in there, so

many people and not wearing a bulky costume where you're trying to shimmy through a sea of people. Yeah. Any guy

right. So, so we're heading off to the Bliss cruise this week, and so it's like, which of our bliss costumes are we going to try out? So this year Jay and I did the I was a sexy cop and you were pretty sexy prisoner.

well, yours or yours, your, it was like a little barely there, singlet. Of black and white stripes and you had a chain around your neck that had chains to your wrist. So my handcuffs, thank you. Handcuffs,

It was good because Cece and I had a chance. To talk because the whole weekend was very much focused on lifestyle and all that, but to make a genuine connection with someone else, it was really cool.

I would say, I would agree with you Elle, where it was an amazing weekend, and I will admit it took me a couple days to fully recover. Yeah. Between, Friday night and all the festivities and then Saturday night. And me, unfortunately, overindulging yeah, I'm not as young as I once was, so it takes a little longer to get back on the horse there, but other than the overindulging, I wouldn't have. I would say. Two qualities are very obvious green flags where you can tell the couple genuinely loves each other. Oh, they're in it together. Oh, good one. This, this is to add, it's not to fix a problem in their marriage or relationship, but this is a, A bonus.

And well said. You can tell right off the bat that they are each other's highest priority. Agreed. And. I know I'm gonna sound like a broken record, Al, but I know where you're gonna go with this communication.

they can communicate. For example, in another lifetime ago, the best couples date that we had was with a lovely couple and they were very direct. Number one, you could tell that they cared about each other very much, but also. They didn't beat around the bush in terms of, they said, Hey, we've had a wonderful evening with you guys.'cause we did drinks and we did dinner and whatnot. And we would love to invite you guys back to play.
