Unleash Your Inner Radiance!
Your Next Chapter Doesn't Write Itself
What are you doing with your one precious life? It's not a rough draft—this is the real thing, being written with every decision you make.
Today we're diving deep into the seven dimensions of true fitness that create a radiant life. Beyond the typical conversations about physical appearance and productivity, we explore what it means to be truly fit in every area that matters.
Emotional fitness is your resilience on demand—the ability to pause and choose growth over reactivity when life gets stormy. It's about getting radically honest with yourself, identifying what you're tolerating, and recognizing the dreams you've buried under excuses. Faith fitness anchors you in something greater, whether that's God, the universe, or your inner wisdom. It gives you the courage to step into uncertainty without needing to see the entire path, trusting that something better awaits.
Your relationships profoundly impact your wellbeing, which is why friend fitness and family fitness deserve attention. Are your friends adding fuel to your fire or water to your flame? Quality connections matter far more than quantity.
Physical fitness shouldn't feel like punishment. Movement should bring joy, not dread, whether that's dancing in your kitchen, walking in nature, or stretching mindfully. Your body is your constant companion—not your enemy.
Perhaps most transformative is mindset fitness—mental strength training that builds resilience and perspective. Gratitude is the soul's multivitamin, shifting your energy even on the messiest days.
Remember, your next chapter doesn't write itself. You are the author, your habits are the pen, and your courage is the ink.

Welcome back to Mindset Monday here on Unleash your Inner Radiance. I'm Lisa, your Catalyst, life, wellness and Transformation Coach, and today we are diving into something real, raw and something sacred. You only get one light, so what are you doing with it? This isn't about hustle or pressure or performance. It's about alignment, purpose fitness not the kind that most people talk about, but the kind that most people never talk about. You know, I was listening to Brendan Burchard on Girl of the Day this week and what he said hit me right in the soul your actions create your destination. What kind of actions are you taking towards your destination? So today we're going to talk about fitness, but not just physical fitness. We are going to go all in on emotional fitness, faith fitness, friends and family fitness, internal fitness yes, what you are feeding your body and mind and, of course, mindset fitness, all rooted in the most magnetic energy of all gratitude. So grab your cup of coffee, put a hand over your heart and let's go all in on your next chapter.
Speaker 1:Let's talk about emotional fitness, or resilience on demand. This is about emotional regulation, not denying emotions, but training how we respond If that makes sense. It's talking about and learning how to not spiral when things get hard, how to not spiral when things get hard and say something like this you can't control every storm, but you can learn to breathe through the wind. That is a quote. You can't control every storm, but you can learn to breathe through the wind. You know, talking about learning how to be resilient and think about how we respond If someone says something to you. That is a trigger. Figure out what your trigger is and figure out how to work through it before you say something. Something Because emotional fitness is being able to pause, reflect and to choose growth over reactivity, because sometimes we react and then we think, oh, why did we react like that? I want you guys to understand that this is this life, that your one life, it's not a rough draft life, your one life. It's not a rough draft. There is no someday version waiting in the wings.
Speaker 1:The next chapter is being written right now, with every decision you make, every thought you have, every habit you choose and you know what. You don't need permission to flip the page, what you don't need permission to flip the page. You just need to decide, decide that you're no longer available for playing small or staying stuck or living in stories that no longer serve you. The first step is to get radically honest with yourself. Ask what am I tolerating? What dream have I buried under excuses? What kind of woman or man do I want to become, and what does she believe, say and do daily? Then start with small shifts, brave boundaries, morning rituals, healthier choices, surrounding yourself with people who reflect the version of you you're stepping into.
Speaker 1:One of the funnest things to do is to write a letter to your future self, and in that letter, you write about what you're doing, how successful you are, what your day looks like right. Do you get up? Do you do three miles on the treadmill? Do you go for a three mile walk with your dog? Do you have coffee? Do you visit with neighbors? What do you do? Three miles on the treadmill? Do you go for a three mile walk with your dog? Do you have coffee? Do you visit with neighbors? What do you do? Do you coach? Do you write letters? Do you? Are you a nutritionist? I mean, what do you do? What is your dream? What does your future self look like? I want you to surround yourself with people who reflect that future version that you want to step into, because it's not about overhauling your whole life overnight. It's about reclaiming your power, one aligned decision at a time. Your power, one aligned decision at a time.
Speaker 1:This next chapter. It doesn't have to look like anyone else's and it doesn't need to look like your current chapter or your past chapters, because you get to flip the page and you get to write it. So make it bold, make it messy, make it yours, make it messy, make it yours, because the pen has always been in your hand. Now it's time to write something that you are proud of, to do something that you are proud of. Number two is faith fitness, because we all need to anchor ourselves in something that is greater than us. Faith isn't faith. Fitness isn't about spiritual alignment. No, faith is about spiritual alignment. I don't know where the not came from. It's trust, it's surrender, it's divine connection, right, whether it's God, the universe or your inner wisdom. Talk about how this fitness gives you the courage to step into your future. Let's talk about that, because here's a quote for you Faith is walking into your next chapter without needing to know the ending, just trusting it's better than the last. I'll put that quote in the show notes.
Speaker 1:Faith fitness isn't about having all the answers. It's truly about stepping back and trusting the one who does truly, about stepping back and trusting the one who does. It's about a daily practice of surrendering what you can't control and choosing to believe that God is still working in the unseen, even when life feels so incredibly messy, slow or uncertain. It's praying when you tried. It's praying when it hurts. It's praising when it hurts. It's standing firm when the storms come, because your roots are deep, are deep. They should be deep.
Speaker 1:Faith fitness means let's see showing up for your spiritual life like it really matters, because it does. It's opening your Bible or a devotional before your inbox. It's talking to God like he's your best friend. It's remembering that you are not walking alone ever, even though sometimes it feels like it, because when your spiritual muscles are strong, you stop striving and start trusting. You walk with more peace, more joy, more clarity, even when the path isn't clear. So ask yourself am I nourishing my soul, am I stretching my faith? Because, just like your body needs movement, your spirit needs intentional connection. So this is your reminder to put God back into the center, not just on Sunday, but every single day. Faith fitness is fun, freeing and fierce, and it just might be the foundation that you've been missing.
Speaker 1:Now let's talk about friends fitness, because some of us need to work on our friends fitness. This one is about connection, or the energy Of those that surround you, the energy that you put out. When you walk into a room. I want you to ask yourself Are your friends adding fuel To your fire or water to your flame? Because we want them to add fuel To your fire. I want you guys To have that are loving and caring and supporting, because fitness isn't just abs and greens. It's healthy boundaries too. So I just want you to understand that if you start setting boundaries and your friends get mad, maybe they're not your friends, Because they should be able to respect your boundaries and because who you surround yourself really matters like really really matters. The people in your life are either draining your energy or fueling your fire. Brands fitness means checking your inner circle and asking are these the kind of women who clap when I rise, pray when I struggle and remind me who I am when I forget, or are they keeping me small, stuck or second guessing? Because you don't need a million friends. You need a few ride-or-die soul sisters who see your light and reflect it back to you.
Speaker 1:Friend fitness isn't about quality. It's more about quality not quantity. It's about laughter that heals, conversations that go deep and being around people who feel like sunshine and divine connections. And the truth is, sometimes it means letting go of expired friendships and making room for better connections. So go ahead, initiate the coffee date, send that random encouragement text or start a book club club or just join a mastermind. Create connection with intention, because iron sharpens iron, and the right friends they help you become the strongest, most radiant version of you. Now we're going to nurture the roots a little bit when we talk about family fitness, because your family is the family you're stuck with, right. So I want you to tend to your family with intention, with no, there's no obligation or guilt, but come to everybody in your family with love from the heart.
Speaker 1:Fitness and family is showing up, not perfectly, but presently, and I think that's where a lot of parents are going wrong right now because they're not present for their kids. You see, family fitness isn't about being perfect, it's about being present. It's about checking in, not just checking the boxes. It's about pausing the scroll and making eye contact at the dinner table, laughing at inside jokes and choosing connection over chaos. We have enough chaos going on in this world because, let's be real, life gets busy, life gets crazy, schedules fill up, emotions run high, but family fitness means choosing to show up with love anyway. It's asking the hard questions, offering the apology, giving the hug or setting the boundaries where needed. It's about pouring into relationships that are foundational to your story, the people who you've seen make a mess, the people who have seen your mess and your magic. And guess what you get? To create your own definition of family.
Speaker 1:Whether it's blood chosen or blended, family fitness is about building a safe place and a safe space where everyone can go and grow and heal and dream together. So pick up the phone, write that note, plan that game night, dance in the kitchen. There are so many more moments that matter, and these are the roots that keep you grounded. Family fitness is legacy work and you, my friend, are the architect. Now let's talk about your favorite and mine physical fitness, because your energy is power. Your physical body is the vehicle for your purpose. Take care of it like your mission depends on it, because it actually does.
Speaker 1:I want to invite you guys to move this week, even if it's just a walk, a dance break or stretching with gratitude. That would be fun, right, look, I get it. Some days, the squats we're doing are when we drop the remote under the couch, right. And if walking to the fridge counts as cardio, girl, we'd all be Olympians, trust me. But let's have some real talk. Physical fitness doesn't have to be this intense. This scary 90-minute boot camp led by somebody named Chad, yelling no pain, no gain. Right, it can be dancing in your kitchen to 90s throwbacks or oh, and doing it in fuzzy socks. I mean, come on, let's just have fun with it. Right, it can be parking a little farther from Target just to get in those few extra steps that you need. And yes, we do count target laps as cardio, right, especially if you're pushing a full cart.
Speaker 1:Uphill Movement should be something you enjoy, not something that you dread. So go ahead, find your groove, shake your booty like nobody is watching, stretch like a sleepy cat, or take your dog for a walk and just let them set the pace. Just move your body in a way that makes you feel alive, not punished, because your body, oh she's. She's not your enemy, she's your ride or die. It's the only body you get. So you get to fuel her the way you want, you get to move her, you get to love her, you get to love her right and you get bonus points if you make yourself laugh while you're doing it, because laughing is really good for your abs. That is the best ab workout ever, right?
Speaker 1:So as long as we're talking about physical fitness and taking care of our body, let's talk about internal fitness, because that is really important too, because what are you feeding your mind and your body? I know we just talked about how to move your body and what to do and I actually need to do more yoga. I think I need to do some more stretching but internal fitness is what you're feeding your body and what you're feeding your mind. What you are putting into your body and consuming affects you mentally and physically. So what are you feeding your body? What are you feeding your thoughts? Internal fitness is asking will this nourish me or numb me? Hmm. So let's do some real talk here. Your body is not a trash can, and yet why are we tossing in whatever's closest when we are stressed, bored or pretending five espresso shots count as a meal? Anybody done that?
Speaker 1:Internal fitness is about fueling your body like the radiant powerhouse goddess that you are the radiant powerhouse, goddess, that you are Not like a raccoon loose in your pantry. Yes, it means leafy greens, water and maybe saying goodbye to the fourth bag of hot Cheetos we had a good run, babe, but you're out. But it also means awareness. It means choosing foods that give you energy, they help you focus and they also give you that glowing from the inside out kind of vibe. And hey, this isn't about perfection. It's about asking will this food love me back? And making choices that support your mood, your hormones and your gut, because that's all really important. You don't have to go full celery juice cult. Trust me, that is just disgusting, right, I like celery and all, but no, let's not do that. I just want you guys to start paying attention, because when you treat your insides like royalty, your outsides they start shining like a dang queen. So, hydrate I'm on 36 ounces of water so far. Bless your greens, haven't had any of those yet. And maybe swap one snack this week for something that loves you back. And yes, coffee can stay. We're not monsters, but we would be monsters some of us if we didn't get our coffee. So coffee can stay.
Speaker 1:So we need to talk about mindset fitness, and I've done several episodes on mindset and what you can do. But you do understand that thoughts become things right. Because mindset isn't just thinking positive, it's mental strength training, strength training. Every single day you're either building beliefs that empower you or ones that cage you. We want you to always think about the ones that empower you. So in the past I've said you know, do this a little journal that you can keep in your car.
Speaker 1:When you have a thought that you say something bad to yourself, write it down. You're going to see a pattern and then reframe those and say those nice things to yourself. It's easy, it's easy to do. It's also easy to get back into the saying bad things to you. Right, saying things to yourself that will cage you. So do some daily rituals, like your mental reps, like journaling. That's mental prayer, affirmations, intentional silence, just meditating, because you don't really truly need a complete overhaul. You need one strong thought, repeated with action let's be real. Let's be real. If most of us talk to our friends the way we talk to ourselves, we would have zero friends. Zero friends.
Speaker 1:Mindset fitness is about getting that inner dialogue out of the dark alley and into the light. It's mental reps, it's trading. I can't do this with let's freaking go and swapping. I'm a mess with. I am a masterpiece in progress. This isn't toxic positivity. This is like mental resilience with glitter on top. Think of your mindset like a muscle. If you keep lifting doubt and fear, you'll bulk up on insecurity, but if you start lifting gratitude, focus and compassion, your brain becomes certified confidence machine. And don't forget, your brain loves patterns. So if you start feeding and empowering thoughts daily like vitamins for your soul and empowering thoughts daily like vitamins for your soul it starts expecting good things. It stops looking for the worst and starts preparing for the absolute best. Mental fitness isn't just cute sticky notes on your mirror and pep talk Although those two things do help. And pep talk Although those two things do help it's consistency, it's intention and, yes, sometimes it's blasting Beyonce while doing mere affirmations in your fuzzy robe, like the radiant queen that you are.
Speaker 1:Okay, now we're going to talk about the secret sauce of a radiant life gratitude. So here is something that I want you guys to hear gratitude is the soul's multivitamin. It is the soul's multivitamin. It real realigns your nervous system, your mindset and your energy. So I want you guys to find three things every day this week that you are wildly grateful for, even on your messy days. Even on your messy days, because gratitude, my darling, is basically magic. It's magical. It's like a free upgrade to first class in the airline of your life. It's a vibe shifter, it's a mood fixer, it's the holy grail of mindset tools and it takes literally five seconds a day.
Speaker 1:But let's be honest, some days it's really truly hard and I mean hard to feel grateful when your coffee's cold, your leggings are see-through or someone ate the last slice of avocado toast that you were saving. I mean how rude. But that's when the real gratitude muscles really kick in. It's being thankful that the Wi-Fi let you watch Netflix right During your mental health day, because everybody needs a mental health day and everybody needs a day of just binging Netflix. It's about shouting out your body just for carrying you through the day, even if she's a little bloated and craving carbs. It's noticing that the sun is peeking through the clouds and whispering okay, universe, I see you. The truth. Gratitude less about big moments and more about little micro wins. So stack those up like pancakes and if you do, suddenly you're full of joy, perspective and inner peace. Zero calories, infinite benefits. You're welcome. That's what it is.
Speaker 1:So what are you doing with this one precious life that you have? Not someday, not when you feel ready? No Emotional fitness, faith, fitness, friends, family and physical and eternal mindset that moves mountains, gratitude that grounds your soul. This is the way forward. And remember your next chapter doesn't write itself. You are the author, your habits are the pen and your courage is the ink. If this episode cracked something open for you, I want to hear about it. Please screenshot this and tag me at Change your Life with Lisa Coaching and share one fitness you are going to do to strengthen you this week. Until next time, keep showing up, keep glowing up and never forget. You are a radiant revolution. You don't just change your life. You change the world by being you.
