Welcome to Reclaim Your Inner Balance with Lisa Dorn, the podcast for women who are ready to release what no longer serves them, rebalance their energy, reclaim their confidence, and renew their lives with purpose. I'm Lisa Dorn. I'm a life, wellness, and transformation coach, best-selling author, wellness advocate, and fellow traveler through the beautiful, messy journey of becoming. If you're ready for real conversations, real solutions, real transformations, you are in the right spot. Let's begin. Today feels a little emotional, also very exciting and kind of bittersweet. And honestly, I truly think that this step is very long overdue. Because today I am saying goodbye to Unleash Your Inner Radiance. And I am welcoming you to something that feels more aligned with who I am, who I'm becoming, and most importantly, who I serve. Now, before you panic and think everything is changing, let me reassure you, the heart hasn't changed, the mission hasn't changed, and my passion for helping women has not changed. What has changed is me. And that's exactly what I want to talk to you about today. Have you ever looked back at an old photo of yourself and smiled? Not because you looked better, not because you looked younger, but because you could see who you were becoming. But over the last year, something has really become clear to me. And I just at one point decided to stop my podcasting because it wasn't growing the way I wanted to grow. It wasn't doing what I set out for to do, which was to bring me more clients. But over the last year, something has become clear. Radiance is wonderful, don't you think? But balance is what women are desperately searching for. I know I was. The women I talk to aren't asking how to shine brighter. They're asking, how do I stop feeling exhausted? How do I find myself again? How do I stop carrying all this emotional weight? How do I navigate menopause? How do I stop putting myself last? How do I create a life that feels like me again? And that's where reclaim your inner balance was born. As many of you know, my own journey has not been a straight line. I've experienced divorce, job loss, the loss of both parents, and grief that actually took my breath away. Moments where I questioned myself, moments where I wondered what was next. Moments where I had to rebuild, not once, but multiple times. And there's one thing life has taught me, and it's this transformation isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming yourself. It's about coming home to yourself. And that's what this new chapter is all about. For years, I needed to do more. I needed to work harder, push more, fix more, prove more. Can anyone relate? Because I just thought I need to do this more, that more, that more, that more. I thought if I checked enough boxes, I'd eventually arrive at happiness, at confidence, at peace. But what I discovered was something very, very different. Peace wasn't waiting for me at that finish line because I still am not at that finish line, right? It was found in learning how to release what was weighing me down. How to listen to my body, how to trust again, how to create balance instead of chasing perfection. And that's exactly why this podcast now evolves into four simple pillars: release, rebalance, reclaim, and renew. These pillars didn't come from a textbook, they actually came from my life. They came from my own journey, they came from the woman I've coached. And they came from hundreds of conversations with women trying to figure out what's next. Let's talk about release and letting go of that emotional weight. Kind of like letting go of forgiveness and grief and resentment and old stories that we tell ourselves, and old stories that we rely back on. Because it's hard to move forward when you're dragging all that past behind you. And trust me, I know this firsthand. Rebalance is when we listen to our body, especially in the midlife, when it is oh so important for us to listen to our bodies, especially through menopause, especially when energy isn't what it used to be. This is where wellness became personal to me. Not because I wanted to look different, but because I wanted to feel alive again. So that brings us to reclaim. Because this one really hits home. Because there was a season where I couldn't answer a simple question. What do you want? I knew what everyone else wanted. I knew what everyone else needed, but I lost touch with myself, and I know that I'm not along it alone in that. So many women have spent years being everything for everyone else. Now it's time to reconnect with who you are. And that brings me to the final one: renew. Because transformation isn't about starting over every Monday, although we feel like we start over every Monday. It's about building habits, confidence, and purpose that actually lasts. It's about creating a life that feels aligned, not perfect, but aligned. And one thing that I have learned is that growth requires courage. And sometimes growth means admitting you've outgrown something. And that's what this podcast represents. Not an ending, an evolution. And honestly, I hope it gives you permission to evolve too. Maybe you're outgrowing a belief, a habit, a relationship, a job, a version of yourself. And maybe it's time. The beautiful thing about midlife is this. We stop living according to everyone else's script. And we start writing our own. That is powerful. It's freedom. And that's where transformation begins. So as we move forward together, you'll hear conversations about wellness, energy, menopause, confidence, forgiveness, purpose, self-care, boundaries, personal growth, and all the messy, beautiful realities of being a human. I'll share my stories, my lessons, my mistakes, and hopefully a few laughs along the ways. Because if we can't laugh at ourselves occasionally, we're taking this whole thing way too seriously. So before we wrap up, I want to say thank you. Thank you for being here. Thank you for listening, and thank you for growing with me. Whether you've been with me from the beginning or this is the very first episode, I am truly grateful that you're here. This podcast might have a new name, but the mission remains the same. Helping women remember their worth. Helping women reclaim their power. Helping women create lives that feel balanced, purposeful, and radiant. Because when a woman heals, everything around her begins to change. And that ripple effect matters. If today's episode spoke to you, I would absolutely love to hear from you. Please send me a message, share this episode, join or reclaim your inner balance community on Facebook. And if you are ready for support on your own journey, let's connect. Remember, you are not broken, you are not behind, you are not too late. You are becoming. Until next time, keep releasing, keep rebalancing, keep reclaiming, and keep renewing. And keep becoming the woman you were always meant to be. See you on the next episode.
