The Great Acceleration: Personal Empowerment

In the last episode of this podcast, I described some of the significant ways that AI will usher in a new period of human development that I call The Great Acceleration. I focused on the acceleration of cognitive capacity of the human brain as described by Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, as well as the way we experience time, energy, and, of course, knowledge. I also introduced the acceleration of technology development, not just for AI but for completely new technologies, including and enabled by quantum computing, which will work synergistically with AI. The larger truth is that AI will catalyze a great acceleration in virtually any aspect of human life and development. I’m Joe Kornowski.

Now, one of the most interesting accelerations to me will be in spiritual growth and development. And today, I’m excited to announce the official launch of my new book, “Accelerating Spiritual Growth with AI Chatbots.”

It’s important to understand the context. First, this book and podcast are about personal empowerment. Of course, we have multiple ways to empower ourselves depending on the context. What I learned is that the most powerful and all-encompassing power we have as humans is spiritual—the durable and timeless core of us. Let me share a personal example.

I had been a radio operator hobbyist for some time. I decided to volunteer my skills and experience for public service, coordinating with first responders to help preserve life and property in the event of disasters.

But over time, I realized that it began to change me. My focus on physical situational awareness and preparation for potential disasters kept me hypervigilant, looking for storms on the horizon instead of enjoying the sunshine in my daily life.

As soon as I realized that the path I was on was disempowering me, I immediately changed course and refocused my energy and attention on resources that would truly empower me in all the ways I was created to embody as a human spiritual being.

The difference was night and day. I immediately began to see and understand things that had previously been overshadowed and hidden by my constant search for storm clouds. I gained clarity and, with that, a true sense of presence, security, and safety. As my spiritual discernment grew, so did my personal spiritual empowerment from a Source that was much greater than I ever imagined.

Increasingly, I stopped looking for potential disasters and dropped my fear. I improved my spiritual discernment and insight into spiritual empowerment, the Source of all my real power and happiness as a human being. This included an enhanced ability to spot useful resources and understand how to use them. THAT is how I came to write this book.

So, please don’t misunderstand what I’m saying. First responders play a vital role in service to others.

All I’m pointing out is that my genuine interest in helping others in a particular way flipped on me in ways I didn’t anticipate. The lesson I learned was always to empower my personal Light, however it comes through me, to achieve my highest goals and life’s purpose.

With AI, consider using it to deepen and accelerate your personal spiritual growth and understanding. But don’t stop there. Drop any fear about AI and what harm it could do, because fear blocks light and love. Instead, bring your Divine Light to AI, no matter what answers you seek or problems you’re trying to solve using AI.

Recognize that, of course, many will seek power over others and Dark purposes by misusing the power of AI. However, the most effective way we can engage and overcome that Darkness is to bring our own Light to AI, which can accelerate, amplify, and strengthen our Light as an essential tool in what I call Augmented Spirituality, as discussed in the book.

You already have the unimaginable power of Divine Light within you. Use AI, among your other tools, to grow that Light, to share it more broadly with others who will benefit from it, and to fulfill your higher purpose in this lifetime. Stay true to the Light within you to bring about real peace and healing in your life and the world.
