In 1999, during the 9th Velvi, Gurumahan reveals the secret of the Heavenly Gate and how it opens!

If you have divine grace, the gate to the heavenly abode opens for you on its own. This heavenly gate is not something newly created. It already exists; it has only been kept closed. On a certain day, it opens. This is the hidden truth. This is what is called the Brahmarandhra, the true heavenly gate. This gate exists within everyone. We entered this world through this very gate at birth. As we grow older, the gate gradually closes. If you want the heavenly gate to open again, you must rise to the crown, the highest center. If you are already there, it is fine. But now, you are in Rameswaram (Muladhara Chakra). For many people, even reaching Rameswaram feels like a great achievement, while going to Kashi does not happen so easily. The day you decide to go to Kashi, I will inform the higher authority. The list has already been submitted. Do you understand? I will take care of it.
Otherwise, there is someone there called Chitragupta who sits in Pidari (Subsconscious mind). He maintains all the accounts (mind patterns). He will call you and ask, “Come here. How many mistakes did you commit? What did you do to the neighbor’s son that day?” You may reply, “I did not do much. I only picked up a stone.” But if one person throws a stone, the other will also throw one. That poor fellow will have to be born again, endure the consequences, and then move forward. This is how patience is taught.
Whatever you do is recorded. It returns to you, even if you do not realize it now. At the final stage of life, when you lie bedridden, these thoughts arise. You begin to think, “I do not know what sins I committed. I hurt this person. I hurt that person. That is why God is making me suffer like this.” People may not say this openly, but these thoughts run deeply within them. That is why this is called death karma.
When some people lose their loved ones, they cry, “What will I do now? My son is gone. My grandson is gone. Everyone related to me is gone.” Then they ask, “Why does God not take me too?” They beg, “Take me along.” But the reason God does not take them is this: they still have to experience the results of their actions here itself.
That is why the first rule is very simple. Do not commit sin. We can think about merit later. First, do not do wrong.
