During the 11th Velvi, in the year 2000,  Gurumahan reveals the divine qualities of His disciple: pure love, unbending truth, and fearless courage!

Disciples who came to the Velvi for one day have beautifully expressed the philosophy of Brahman through powerful writing. Those who once did not know poetry have written poems. Those who did not know how to write have created fine works. Many used to have bodily troubles, 'I cannot bear even a little hunger. I have diabetes. I must urinate often. My body feels weak.' Yet, in the midst of many such challenges, you gained great determination. By accepting a single word, the Guru’s word, you gained the faith that you can achieve anything.
For nearly 17 days, you sat in this holy gathering of philosophy, penance, wisdom, and bliss. In just one day, from morning until evening, you performed yogic practices and attained what had to be attained. You performed a Jnana Yajna, Dhava Yajna, and a Tattva Yajna. In that single day, you became complete. In that very day, you realized the divine nature within you, and an outward transformation became visible. Earlier, when I saw you and called you with outward love, sorrow still lingered within my heart. When will the Paranjothi Vamsam, those initiated into Kundalini meditation, realize the radiance of the Supreme Light within themselves? The value and honor you give to this perishable body will perish with it. But the Supreme Light, the Paranjothi shining within this body, exists in everyone. When will you all awaken to this truth?
My beloved MeiUnarvalargal, until now I did not call you disciples. Today, I firmly declare: you are my beloved disciples. You accepted me as your Guru, yet I did not accept you as disciples until now, for my disciple must be complete in all things, noble in all ways. No matter how many trials or obstacles arise, they must never waver from truth. Only those who come with love (அன்பு), truth (உண்மை), and courage (துணிவு) deserve to be called my disciples. I believe you have gained that truth, that love, and that courage.
