How Does meditating in the "Pranavalayam" - The Golden Pyramid, at UPF, Help Focus and Transform Our Thoughts? பிரணவாலய தியானம் நம் மனதை எப்படி எளிதாக ஒருமுகப்படுத்துகிறது?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In the 13th Holy Penance, Gurumahan explains the significance of meditating in Pranavalayam, the pyramid structure @ Universal Peace Foundation in TM Hills. He explain how the pyramid has unlimited cosmic energy and when one enter this space, they can easily still the mind, enabling one to transcend the physical and subtle realms and connect with higher states of consciousness. Through samyama—dharana, dhyana, and samadhi—one can realise the primordial power within and awaken to the ultimate truth.
You are seated in Pranavalayam, a Holy place. We created this pyramid structure for an important reason. In other places, atomic movements stay very active, so your thoughts do not become focused. Sunlight falls everywhere, but when you use a convex lens, it gathers the rays into one point and gains the power to burn cotton. In the same way, this Pyramid - pranavalayam has attracted all the cosmic energy and hold it within that space.
A person’s future depends on the thoughts they hold while living. That is why elders said charity and dharma must come from what is truly yours. People changed this meaning. They think they must first earn more and then give. But what truly belongs to you? When life ends, only the charity and good deeds you did will follow you into your next life. In this world, When you sit for meditation, only then unwanted thoughts start to flow. Until then, the mind feels calm. But once you sit for meditation, the mind wanders everywhere. Why? From this earth, to some feet of distance, Subtle unseen forms exist around you, though you cannot see them. As soon as you sit, they influence your thoughts, just like incense spreads fragrance. You may suddenly get thoughts that are not yours.
Do not worry. Tune your mind like a radio. A radio receives different waves, but you choose the frequency you want. In the same way, turn your mind toward the right thoughts. Otherwise, you will stay stuck in one state and lose meditation.
So you must rise higher. Go beyond this physical world to the subtle world, then to the causal world. The knowledge vibrations left by great beings exist there and beyond. A yogi must move beyond ordinary thoughts and connect to that higher level.
Then you understand what sages like Agathiyar, Vyasa, Patanjali, and Thirumoolar taught. Whatever you meditate on, you become that. Samyama includes these 3 - Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (liberation).
When you worship Lord Murugan with deep devotion, and think only of Him, your mind rises to a higher state. In that form, you can even experience His presence. You can speak, and it will respond. It becomes your light, your guide, and your support.
This happens because of your devotion and faith. Anyone who lives with unchanging love for God will realize this truth. Go beyond small forms of worship and think of the ultimate reality, the source of everything, the primordial power. When you think of it, you can become it. Whatever you think, you can become.
