In the 13th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan explains the true meaning of “Santhosham.”
Santhosham (happiness) is the very state of the Supreme, an expression of boundless love, infinite intelligence, power, bliss, and peace. It is a state completely free from all flaws. When a person drifts into forgetfulness of the Divine, we gently remind them by saying “Santhosham,” meaning: do not forget God. Expressions such as “Shiva Shiva,” “Allah,” and “Kartar” all point to the same Supreme Reality.
