Jonny Hanson
Jonny Hanson is a conservationist, academic, and former farmer dedicated to bridging the divide between wild nature and rural livelihoods. He is the author of Living with Lynx: Sharing Landscape with Big Cats, Wolves and Bears, a critically acclaimed book exploring the complex politics and possibilities of reintroducing apex predators to Britain and Ireland. With roots in Ireland and Malawi, Jonny has conducted field research across the Himalayas, North America, and Europe, and works closely with the Snow Leopard Conservancy. Through storytelling, social science, and lived experience, he brings a balanced, honest perspective to one of the most emotionally charged debates in conservation: how humans and predators can learn to coexist.
