Ness Knight

Ness Knight is a British explorer, conservationist, presenter and keynote speaker known for long, difficult expeditions through rivers, deserts, rainforest and savannah. Raised in southern Africa, she has spent more than 15 years working in remote terrain, with projects shaped by endurance, survival skills and conservation. She became the first woman to swim the River Thames from source to London, completed a 1,000-mile stand-up paddleboard down the Missouri River, crossed the Namib Desert by fat bike, and helped lead a source-to-sea descent of Guyana’s Essequibo River with the Wai Wai. Her current work includes wildlife-crime investigation and storytelling around the illicit rhino horn trade.
