Adam Weymouth

Adam Weymouth is an award-winning travel writer and journalist, one of Britain's leading chroniclers of long, slow journeys. His work explores the places where people, wildlife, and a changing world collide — always traveling on foot or by water, meeting people on their own terms.

His debut book, Kings of the Yukon, followed a 2,000-mile canoe journey down the Yukon River, tracing the fate of the king salmon and the Indigenous communities who depend on them. It won the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year and Stanford's Travel Writer of the Year awards.

His latest book, Lone Wolf, retraces the extraordinary 1,000-mile journey of Slavc, a gray wolf who walked from Slovenia across the Alps into Italy. Part nature writing, part reportage, it examines rewilding, folklore, and the politics dividing modern Europe. It has been shortlisted for the Baillie Gifford Prize.

Adam lives on the Kent coast with his family.
