It’s been a couple of months since season 3 ended—but we’re back. Season Three wrapped on March 20th, and now, hot on its heels, Season Four arrives May 29th, carrying with it 15 new stories that reach across landscapes, cultures, and the human spirit.

We kick off with Megan Hine—wilderness guide, survivalist, and creative force behind some of TV’s biggest adventure shows. It’s a conversation that pulls back the curtain on life behind the lens and deep in the wild: the thrill, the risk, the burnout, and the resilience required to come back stronger. We even get into the art of pitching to networks—something rarely spoken about.

Then, on June 5th, we welcome Paul Harris—also known the the Warrior Walker. Paul has circled the UK not once but twice on foot. This is a longer-than-usual episode because, frankly, we needed the time. We talk grief, grit, and the raw beauty of connecting with people and place one step at a time.

And beyond that? Well, we’ve got some real crackers on the way:
Scottish geology, the wildest rivers on the planet, the Boukkaat Loubnan Trails of Lebanon, the Arctic Wilds of Finland, walking and cycling the world, lynx tracking, wildlife photography, and a few surprises I’ll keep under wraps for now.

Also, some big news: Adventure Diaries has won the People’s Choice Award for Best Outdoor Podcast at the Outdoor Media Summit. That’s all thanks to you. Whether you voted, listened, shared, or just kept the spirit of adventure alive—this one’s for us all. As promised, I’ll be donating $1 per vote to the Blue Cross to help animals in need.

Looking ahead, I’m also working behind the scenes on a new thread of solo episodes—documentary-style stories, deep dives into the natural world, and explorations of the themes that keep me up at night (in a good way). These won’t replace interviews—they’ll sit alongside them.

And here’s where you come in. What topics are calling you? What stories do you want to hear? Drop a line to contact@adventurediaries.com or send a DM on Instagram. For every message, $1 goes to the Blue Cross.

Thanks again for walking this path with me. Season Four begins May 29th. Megan Hine, then Paul Harris, then 13 more journeys. Follow on Spotify or Apple, share it with a pal, and let’s keep the wild stories rolling.

Speak soon.

 .

So I thought it was about time to give a quick update on what is happening with the podcast. So season three finished on the 20th of March, and hot on its heels is season four.

So season four starts on the 29th of May and will run for 15 episodes. And we kick things off with Megan Hine. What a fantastic episode to kick off season four. So Megan, for those that don't know, is a wilderness guide and survivalist and has produced some of the biggest adventure and survival shows on tv.

And in that conversation we explore Megan's journey in the wild, the thrills and risks of Adventure tv. Burnout and recovery, and even the art of pitching ideas to networks is an incredible episode and one that you won't want to miss.

And up after Meghan on the 5th of June is Paul Harris, AKA , the Warrior Walker. And for anyone that's followed Paul's journey on social media, you'll see that he walked around the United Kingdom. Not once but twice. , and this is a much longer episode than usual 'cause we cover some, some ground in this episode.

It, it's fantastic,, from resiliency, adversity, human connection.  Human spirit and of course,  the adventure itself,

So look out for that episode with Paul Harris a week after the Megan Hein episode, and for the other 13 episodes. Well, we've got some absolute crackers coming up. I mean, I'll hold back the names for now. But in terms of topics and what you can look forward to, we've got all things Scottish geology walking, some of the wildest rivers on the planet.

Some rich cultural heritage of the Boukkaat Loubnan Trails in Lebanon, traversing the Arctic in Finland. We've got Walking the world, cycling the World, and we've got some cracking wildlife episodes too, living with links, nature and birding photography, and a few other fascinating topics that I'm, I'm gonna hold back for now as well.

So fantastic. Collection of 15 episodes of coming in season four. So please do me a favor. Click the follow button, click the subscribe button, whether you're listening on Spotify or Apple. Please give that, give the show a follow 'cause it, it really, it really does help. So what else is happening?

In other news, , the Outdoor Media Summit, those that follow along on Instagram . Will no doubt have seen that the podcast has won the People's Choice Award for Best Outdoor Podcast by the Outdoor Media Summit. That is just incredible. I am so excited, a heartfelt thanks to everyone that voted.

It really does mean a lot, not just to me, for everyone else that listens, for all the guests, for all the actionable ideas, all the pay forwards. This is just a degree of validation for all that. Good work that we as a collective are doing, the messages that we are trying to put out into the world.

So thank you again. And I can't wait to go to Durango in Colorado this October. And anyone that may be around or that resides in Colorado, if you are interested in a meetup or going on an adventure, then do drop me a message. You can contact me on email, contact@adventurediaries.com or just drop a DM on Instagram and also as I promised, I will be making a donation to the blue cross of the equivalent of $1 for every vote, for those that voted for that award. So look out for more on that. In due course. And what, what else? Actually there are some other exciting things that are kind of going on behind the scenes.

So in addition to the interview style episodes that have been the, the hallmark of the podcast over the first three seasons, and for which you will see in season four, that's continuing. There's no change to that. I'm hopeful there'll be many, many, many more seasons in future. But what I'm working on behind the scenes at the moment are new solo episode concepts.

So as I said, the interview style format will continue. We have a roster as far as that I can see, so that's really exciting in its own right, but expect to see some more content coming soon. And by that I mean some. Concepts that I'm working through at the minute are my own narratives. So some topical deep dives, research, investigative documentary style episodes, all related to adventure exploration and the natural world, and in terms of timelines for that.

So I expect to see something probably coming out maybe at the end of season four, before season five, but. However, these will be complimentary supplementary content that will go alongside the, the interview style. So really exciting stuff. There's a lot of topics that I go down the rabbit hole for those that see me on Instagram.

You no doubt, see all the books and magazines and stuff that I, that I read. I've just got some, I've got some ideas and some thoughts and some things I want to see and hopefully share that with you all in due course. And also I would like your input on that, what are your thoughts, what would you like to hear more about?

You have an opportunity to have a say, so if you have any ideas, insights, views, opinions of whatever it may be, then I. Just drop your ideas. Drop. Drop that feedback to contact@adventurediaries.com. And as I did with the votes, any reply, any idea, any contribution, they'll get a $1 amount and that goes towards the Blue Cross to help animals in need.

And that's probably about it. It's been almost two months since I put an update out on the platform. So just to let you all know, we're not going anywhere. There's a fully recorded season four being produced as it stands. That will come out on May the 29th with the first episode being Megan Hein, followed by Paul Harris, and then 13 other fantastic episodes.

So it is so exciting. I'm sure you'll love these episodes. And please, please, please, if you do one thing today and hit that follow button on Spotify or Apple, spread the words and help us grow the show. Help us get it to our wider audience. Thanks again for listening. Look out May the 29th speak some peace.
