Uganda 11-Day Human-Powered Adventure Announcement
[00:00:00] This is a really quick update episode today, but with an opportunity for you, the listener. In October this year, I will be heading to Uganda to undertake an 11 day adventure, which is a 250 kilometer human powered adventure. Hiking, cycling and pack rafting across three of Uganda's national parks.
And exciting. There are some limited spaces left on that trip and we would like to open that up to listeners of the show.

So what can you expect from this adventure? Southwest Uganda is packed with volcanoes, stunning lakes, and dense rainforest full of hidden wildlife. We will hike cycle and pack raft across [00:01:00] this wild region and it'll be led in collaboration with Sana Gorilla rafting pack Raft Africa and red dirt Uganda.
And highlights that you can look forward to will include the summit hike of Mount Sabinyo. Cycling to Lake Mutanda and pack rafting with views of the Virunga volcanoes. We will be trekking to and through Bwindi impenetrable forest with a chance to spot mountain gorillas.
And then we'll finish with a descent of the remote Birira River by raft and then park raft. So this is an incredible, incredible adventure. And some of the best parts of East Africa, right across Uganda.
