Speaker 1:

Okay, so you want to dive into wealth visualization. Gotta say, this is one deep dive. I am really curious about you sent over some seriously intriguing excerpts on this whole idea. So clearly training your mind to attract abundance has really piqued your interest.

Speaker 2:

Definitely fascinating stuff and honestly it's a topic that kind of sits at this crossroads of psychology and personal development, Right Even neuroscience kind of peeks in a little bit.

Speaker 1:

For sure. It's like everyone wants to crack that code Exactly. So I'll admit a part of me. Whenever I hear about this stuff, it's like, really, can it be that simple? Just visualize it and boom, it appears Right. But then the other part of me, the part that devours every self-help book I can get my hands on yeah Well, that part's very curious, of course. So indulge me here. How does this whole visualizing wealth thing actually supposed to work?

Speaker 2:

Okay. So at its core, the basic idea is that our subconscious minds they're not always so great at separating what's real from what we vividly imagine.

Speaker 1:

Okay, yeah.

Speaker 2:

You know, think about that feeling when you wake up from a dream and like, just for a split second, you, we can consistently visualize wealth and success, but, like with incredible detail, we might actually be influencing our thoughts, our behaviors and then, ultimately, our reality.

Speaker 1:

Well, hold on. So you're saying like if I sit here and vividly picture myself living in my dream house, my brain might actually start acting like it's already happening.

Speaker 2:

Well, in theory yeah.

Speaker 1:

That's kind of mind blowing, OK. So how does this actually play out in like real life? What are we talking about here?

Speaker 2:

OK, well, I'm sure you've heard of vision boards.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, vision boards, those are like a staple in any self-help book worth its salt. No-transcript.

Speaker 2:

Precisely, and that's just one technique. There's also scripting. Have you heard about?

Speaker 1:

that Scripting? Tell me more.

Speaker 2:

So with scripting you basically write out your ideal financial future in detail, but the key is you use present tense as if it's already happening.

Speaker 1:

Oh, interesting.

Speaker 2:

Right. And then, of course, there's affirmations which you know. That's where you're repeating positive statements about wealth and abundance, which you can feel a little weird at first. Yeah, at first it can feel a little strange, like you're, you know like you're trying to convince yourself of something. Exactly strange Like you're. You know like you're trying to convince yourself of something Exactly.

Speaker 1:

But the idea is to shift from that mindset of scarcity to one of abundance. So it's like I don't know standing in front of the mirror each morning and being like I am a money magnet.

Speaker 2:

You got it, you laugh, but.

Speaker 1:

Hey, I'm open to it, whatever works, right.

Speaker 2:

Exactly Because, again, it's about retraining your subconscious, you know, aligning it with attracting wealth. Now, important to note this isn't some magic spell, right Right? There's a lot of debate around. You know how effective these techniques actually are. Right, but on a psychological level, even if it's just a placebo effect, it's pretty clever.

Speaker 1:

I mean, yeah, so why do you think these techniques really seem to resonate with so many people, even with all the debate techniques?

Speaker 2:

in a way they offer that it taps into this like innate human desire to shape our own reality, to believe in the power of our own minds and in a world that often feels very uncertain. You know, that's. That's incredibly alluring.

Speaker 1:

That makes a lot of sense. It's like taking a proactive approach to your financial future, even if it starts in the realm of imagination.

Speaker 2:

to your financial future, even if it starts in the realm of imagination Precisely, and, you know, even if someone isn't fully sold on the whole manifesting aspect of it, just the act of like, vividly imagining your goals, that can be a powerful motivator in itself.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

It clarifies those goals, makes them feel attainable.

Speaker 1:

For sure, we started out a little skeptical, but now we're both intrigued, maybe even a little inspired, to try some of these visualization techniques ourselves.

Speaker 2:

Hey, I wouldn't be surprised. It's definitely an interesting thought experiment, if nothing else.

Speaker 1:

It really is. Here's something to chew on listeners. If our subconscious minds are so influenced by vivid imagery, what other aspects of our lives could be positively impacted by, you know, focused visualization? Food for thought. Food for thought.
