Craig (00:01.356)
Welcome to the Official Munzee Podcast.
Rob (00:03.78)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:07.502)
And I'm Craig, also known as Seemyshell, I started as an avid Munzee player, now proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:13.008)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:19.896)
So sit back and relax. Today's episode we're gonna, like always, Rob, we're gonna go through the blog posts that have just trickled out over the last week. But more importantly, Rob, there's something, something special happening at the very, very end. Not the very, end, but you know, towards the end, Rob. Anyway, so stick around because I'm telling you now, this one is, let's just say it's out of the box. It's something different. It's something new,
Rob (00:43.442)
Hey, that is true actually. Yeah. Cool. I'll stick around.
Craig (00:44.814)
Yeah, it's literally out of the box. But anyway, Rob, you better, you better. Speaking of sticking around, mate, you've stuck around now when we're in the same city,
Rob (00:56.37)
We are in the same house even, but you know how tech goes. So, we're, we're near each other recording. yeah, man. Hello, Minnesota. That's all I got. Yeah. Let's get ready. It's it's Munzee time. Munzee mania is in full effect, at least for us, because we're driving all over the place and we're getting Munzees, but, the events kick off this weekend for us. It's Wednesdays. We record. You'll be listening.
Craig (01:08.014)
Mm-hmm. There you go. Fair enough. It's Monsy Tom.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Rob (01:25.052)
Those of you that are coming to the events on that day get excited because wow, the place is covered.
Craig (01:30.868)
Mm-hmm. It really, really is. But in the meantime, Rob as well, Munzee related like stuff that I've been up to for the last week. I'm excited, Rob, because I've traveled through South Dakota and then Minnesota as well to get here. But I'm going to say this. All the players out there, because I went through one, one big players town and that big player themselves, her name is Danielle, Danielle, Danielle 111011101110. I went through her.
Rob (01:56.712)
Yeah. Someone's in the zero. Yeah.
Craig (02:00.652)
The ones and the zeros are binary, I think it is. Yeah, I went through her town, Rob, and, and, and I was literally capping a lot of the stuff that was around there. I didn't realize how much she's actually got in and around her town. She's got a great nest set up as well. But this is my question to all the listeners out there, Rob. Are you like some of these players whereby every street has to have its own type of virtual Munsies? What I mean by that is,
You know, Smith street is all flat Rob's and only flat Rob's, know, Jones street is all flat lose and only flat lose. And they all got to be in perfect line down the road. Tell me if you're a Munzee player out there, do you have to be like OCD like this and have every single Munzee type on a different street? Rob, have you seen it before? no, you're very scattered.
Rob (02:49.916)
I have seen it. Is that me? As you might imagine, it is not me. That is not my style. Yes. But but yeah, some of those are fun. Do you mess with those people?
Craig (02:58.68)
But I was just, I was just, yeah.
Craig (03:04.994)
Sometimes I have been known to in the past. have had Munzey mates in the past as well in Australia, one in particular. And yeah, he was setting up his area and he was getting all straight down the line and stuff too. I would go and randomly put some sort of different type of virtual in the middle of his flat robs and he didn't like it too much.
Rob (03:25.008)
Well, that's shocking to a person who has a design for you to come in and mess with it. And then I believe you were nice enough to, you know, then put them back. Yeah, that's good.
Craig (03:33.771)
I did, I changed it up. But then, then, then I messed with him a little bit more because I then put a flat Rob on his flat Rob street, but I put it to the side onto the sidewalk instead of the middle of the road. And it sort of, it like, it jutted out that little bit. And again, he messaged me, can you correct it please? Craig. So quite funny, mate. Quite funny. I love the way people play. That's all I'm saying. I love the way different people play this game. it is so much fun.
Rob (03:41.87)
Mm. Mm-mm.
Rob (03:47.88)
Always the master.
Craig (03:57.143)
Rob, let's get on with the actual episode itself because in USA, the events from last week, had Arizona, California, Ohio and New Jersey and around the world, mate, we had.
Rob (04:06.382)
One in UK, three in Germany, and one in Finland.
Craig (04:09.806)
and the leaderboards over the weekend. If you remember last week itself when on the podcast, we Colecracker seven got first three days in a row, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Well, this time she only got first on the Friday. So Colecracker seven leads the way on Friday with 254,000 points followed by Jaroslav Kass 231,000 points and then Jibby G Jibby G on two two two 2222.
No, more than that. Two hundred and twenty two thousand points. That's what it was anyway, Rob. On Saturday, mate.
Rob (04:40.914)
That too, yeah.
On Saturday we had Queen of Denial, Texan up there, impressive 461,000. Q22, Q17, 400,000. And Hoggle Spike, 377,000.
Craig (04:56.91)
Wow, I love Queen of Denial. That's a great name as well. Queen of not the Nile, Denial. D Nile, I like it, it's very cool. On Sunday, in first place, he was second on Friday, but now first on Sunday, was Jaroslav Kas. With 305,000 points followed by Ron SA on 297,000 points and then T72 on 295,000 points.
Rob (05:00.807)
It is.
D Nile. Yeah, that's great.
Craig (05:23.318)
Now, of course, the weekend, this weekend, the events themselves, we have one in Maryland, one in Florida, one in Missouri, one in Massachusetts, one in Oklahoma, one in Texas. There's one on Monday in South Carolina, but more importantly, Rob, there is seven in Minnesota over the weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, seven in Minnesota, mate.
Rob (05:46.372)
Wow. Wow. Truly, all that can be said. Wow.
Craig (05:52.929)
I'm going to have, I'm going to have like bruises and, and blisters on my fingers from my capping, mate. So yeah, absolutely true. My phone is going to be running battery hot too. I can already feel it. You know, absolutely looking forward to it, mate. Around the world, mate, we have this weekend.
Rob (06:04.249)
Mm-hmm. Get ready.
Rob (06:09.288)
British Columbia and Ontario, Canada, two in Finland, Netherlands, Sweden, and Victoria, Australia.
Craig (06:17.802)
This is cool. And remember, this is the only weekend this month that's actually double points. Don't forget that double point weekend this weekend is the only weekend this month that's double points. So get your, get your caps going, get your deploys going as well in the high areas and, get your points where you need to. The big events, as I said, this weekend is big events here in Minnesota. No more to say in regards to that. You got to be here to be square. If you can't then make sure you deploy cards for everyone who is and join in the fun.
Rob (06:28.508)
Get
Craig (06:47.118)
Meanwhile, we have December 7th in Newmarket, England. This is growing Rob. There's 23 there now in Newmarket, England on the Willett tent. if you're in England, December 7th, by the looks of it, England on December 7th, it's gonna be great weather. Get there as well. I know, right? Then speaking of great weather, January 16th to 18th, Munzey Mecca in Florida. Now this definitely needs more love and attention because there's only 13 there now.
Rob (07:04.328)
Great joke.
Craig (07:15.81)
January is quickly coming up. So make your plans now. Do your travel plans now. Book your accommodation, book your flights, book your car hire, whatever you need to do to get that down there too. Then March 6th 7th, Munzee madness in Southern California. More about that very, very soon. Meanwhile, Rob, we're going to move on now to the developments this week. What's happened this week, mate? I told you, I told you.
Rob (07:36.284)
Wow, you're really moving fast through this stuff. That's very interesting. Carry on.
Craig (07:42.678)
What's happened this week, mate? The developments. I'm drawing it to you now. This is up to you.
Rob (07:45.544)
I mean, I got to slow it down because we're going so fast. It's like 40 minutes last week, 20 minutes this week. But anyway, let's try. Let's keep going. Tuesday, September 9th, we kicked off the flat cup scatters and they're running all the way through Sunday, the 14th at 2359. So as we roll into midnight, headed for Monday. So when you capture a flat cup, you get up to three different coffee drinks that will be scattered nearby.
Craig (07:52.206)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (08:13.774)
Mmm.
Rob (08:15.368)
Now, you know, this is one of those unique scatter events. There are three badges. You get one for each of the scatter types. You get one if you capture 25 coffee scatters. And then if you capture two of each of the scatter types. I've been working on this because there's quite a few to cap around here. And really it becomes a race between you and I. Cause when the scatters are out there, then you know, which of us is going to get the badge first, you know, the games that we play.
Craig (08:34.05)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
I know, I know. And I do recall, and if anyone recalls after the episode after we were at Geo Woodstock this year, Rob too, a big tip for those other people out there who are playing in the back seat of a car. If you've got a bouncer coming up down the road and you want to cap it and the other person's looking and they're looking at it too and they want to cap it, then make sure you distract them to some degree.
Rob (08:45.104)
So it's happening.
Craig (09:05.774)
as you get to that 500 foot mark and then you can cap it before them. So yeah.
Rob (09:05.832)
Mm-hmm.
Yep, still still burns or or what you're doing currently. Just let me drive because me driving says that you get a whole lot more of the stuff as we're going. So you've definitely figured it out. That's how it goes. But also with with this, you've got an opportunity to get the buy to get one free. So remember that you need multiples of three in your cart as you check out this available only in the online store.
Craig (09:15.138)
This is true. Very, very true. Exactly.
Craig (09:29.827)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (09:37.34)
Buy to get one free so if you don't have any get those out you can share with other people to deploy for them they deploy for you everyone knows how it goes by these days.
Craig (09:38.819)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (09:42.531)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (09:48.011)
Yeah. What I tend to do with my cups as well is I actually put them on at coffee shops. because you know, Sammy loves his coffee and they're a coffee cup. It's a flat cup. So you know me mate, every morning I'll wake up and then I'll go do some work. Normally at a Dunkin here in America or I try and steer clear of the Starbucks, but that's just me. Or if I find a really nice local branded coffee shop too, I'll go there. I'll sit down. I'll do some work. I'll do like the Munzee work that I've got to do as well.
Rob (09:54.172)
Rob (10:03.932)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (10:17.92)
And then I'll deploy the flat cup and I'll put here that, you know, that I was there doing work, drinking coffee, you know, cheers to Sam. So make sure you get your flat cups out there as well. and also don't forget that you can look at doing a swap with other players around the world because these are a flat or a virtual, so you can actually place them anywhere around the world. If you don't have any at all around you reach out on the water cooler, reach out at, on your, in your clan.
Rob (10:27.314)
Indeed.
Craig (10:46.262)
and say, look, does anyone want to swap some flat cups and go from there? That's the best way to do it, Rob, don't you think?
Rob (10:52.866)
I do. I do. think that makes sense. Play the game with other people, you know, help them out.
Craig (10:56.716)
Yeah. Exactly. More fun. And then everyone joins, everyone gets wins because everyone gets points. So it's all good in the hood. All right, Rob, moving on now. Look at how quick we're going. Wow. Wow. Wow. As Owen Wilson would say, this time we're talking about the gardens of the month. Now, recently, Rob, we had a couple of people reach out saying, you know, you don't give us enough time to get these gardens together for the gardens of the month. And when is it?
Rob (11:10.408)
Shocking.
Craig (11:23.118)
Jew and blah blah blah blah blah blah. So I say to them, look at this, Gardens of the Month are out. All the themes for 2026 have been released. Yes, January through to December have been released.
Rob (11:25.404)
Ha ha ha.
Rob (11:36.594)
This is definitely the earliest that we have ever announced something like December of 2026 has been announced in September of 2025. Now, does this mean, Greg, that we are tied to these themes and I am not allowed to come in last minute and change things? Okay, yeah. I was just checking. I was just checking. I just need to have that.
Craig (11:40.236)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm. 26.
Craig (11:51.629)
Hmm?
Craig (11:58.411)
I think you are tired now, You are too, yeah, you're too busy, mate. You're too busy.
Rob (12:05.688)
I'm rolling in the back of my head so that it's not like you know what would be cool instead and it's too late for the what here's what would be cool okay good just checking very good.
Craig (12:07.403)
Absolutely.
Craig (12:12.556)
Yeah, that's right. Because the gameplay team discussed this Rob at length and I'm not sure you were there. I'm not sure where you were in your mind, but they said, Rob, are you okay with that? And you said, yes. So it's been, it's been Rob approved. So it's already done. See, so all 12.
Rob (12:20.026)
Rob (12:24.565)
okay. Well then, Facebook attention ears somewhere else, but, face says, yeah, yeah, yeah, sure. Rob. Yes, absolutely. Okay. No, no, that's great. it's exciting to see these things and, you know, this is one of those moments of go check the blog or someone out there. Some very helpful person has already created this excellent, graphic, which
Craig (12:31.328)
Yeah
Rob (12:51.004)
we did, but someone else will have remade it and put it in the Munzee water cooler so that it's even more clear than what we made clear. So check those out. You know, the the suggestions always are get the information on cup of Z gardens so that you have a chance so that other people have a chance. Get it out there early so that they can be built. Make your designs really cool. What are we going to be looking for when the theme comes through? We're
Craig (12:55.32)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (13:07.159)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (13:11.106)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (13:15.053)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (13:20.166)
we're looking for that creativity, you know, does it have to be a mega garden? No, it's sometimes the mega gardens are the ones that take so long to fill that you're really risking it. try, try to keep them smaller. They're easier to fill and, get creative. That's my suggestions.
Craig (13:22.061)
Mm-hmm.
No.
Craig (13:29.364)
Mm-hmm. That's right.
Craig (13:37.519)
You got to get that happy medium row whereby you can't be too big that way get filled. But then again, you can't be too small where you lose that actual graphic or the artwork, you see. You know, for instance, if you've got 10 pins, you can't build a fish with 10 pins, that sort of thing. You know what I mean? you can't... Yeah.
Rob (13:47.378)
Yeah.
Rob (13:50.852)
I wanted to say that. I wanted to say that so bad. was waiting for you to stop so I can say it. You're right. You're right. It's true. Got to have the right number of pins for the design. Don't go too far over the top though. Yeah.
Craig (14:06.6)
Exactly. At the same time, Rob, I will say that this also has been released and that is we've updated all the requirements and we've specifically set out now the requirements for the gardens of the month themes for 2026, not just the themes themselves, but what they require to become a possible garden of the month. For instance, it has to be more than 50 pins or 50 or more. should say you must include a POI, no temporary virtuals in there at all. They've got to be all solid virtuals themselves that don't move or don't get archived, et cetera.
you know, seven days, 30 days, whatever it might be, three caps, for instance. So they've all got to be solid virtuals and they must obviously then have the tag that relates to the theme. So therefore they go directly into that particular month. If you have any questions in regards to how to do this, if you've never built a garden before, reach out to me. I'm happy to, happy to oblige to help out. I've helped out plenty of people in regards to building of their gardens.
and it's all because of Sam again, because he did such a brilliant job with cuppa Z making it so easy. Cuppa Z. So there you go, Rob. Anything else you, you need to say in regards to the gardens of the month? No. Fair enough. So speaking of the speaking of the gardens though, and that is we're talking about the eel gardens, the eel gardens are still around. They're still available. The pack is still available in store as well. And if you haven't, if you don't know what the electric Rob, Rob.
Rob (15:10.744)
Mm-hmm. He's it.
Rob (15:17.522)
That's it. Yeah.
Craig (15:31.213)
I'm going to throw him under the bus. Yeah, absolutely. Cause he likes his name read out in this show. The J.K. Cashing vlogger. I spoke to him last night. He asked me, what's the electric eels about? He must be, he must be too busy with work. He didn't listen to the episode last week. And I said to him, I told him that to his face. said, how dare you not listen to this episode?
Rob (15:33.918)
really?
Rob (15:38.003)
okay. Go for it.
Rob (15:44.034)
that's right. I remember that.
Rob (15:54.404)
He is actually hanging out like an electric eel under a rock. That's the only reason that he wouldn't know what's going on with these. Yep.
Craig (15:59.631)
Exactly. So again, if you don't know what the electric is, go back to the last week's episode and listen to that or read the blog in regards to electric eels, but the packs are still available. And the reason why I say that Rob is because there's double points this weekend. This is the only weekend with double points that includes double deploys as well might say so. Yeah, there you go.
Rob (16:19.158)
yeah. Now, a quick reminder about electric eel gardens. It's written in the blog. It is not automatically enforced, but we've asked, know, like, hey, stick with one electric eel garden that you build. Now there is a badge for deploying in one garden. There's a badge for deploying 10 pens across multiple gardens or in one or whatever.
Craig (16:24.662)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (16:35.436)
Mmm, that's right.
Craig (16:47.426)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (16:49.064)
but we, currently do not need people to build more than one of these electric yield gardens. think that there are a couple of people, you know, not doing anything maliciously, but just, misunderstanding. There are lots of ways that people can misunderstand. And so we're not looking, you know, for trouble, but, but yeah, if you've already built an electric yield garden, great. Thank you for doing that. most of them are filling very quickly. So just, keep your eye on cup of Z gardens.
Craig (17:00.077)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (17:17.746)
Get those filled and yeah, let's keep enjoying the electric eels for the month, the whole month.
Craig (17:22.894)
Create one, deploy ten. If that makes sense. Deploy in ten. Create one. Correct. Ten pins.
Rob (17:27.772)
deploy 10, deploy 10 pins, 10 pins across one across 10 across three. doesn't matter.
Craig (17:37.504)
Yeah, so create one, but deploy in 10 different gardens.
Rob (17:43.344)
You and I should probably build some more gardens because I think people might be looking for them. That's a side note for after the podcast. We'll discuss this later. I know, you know, there might be someone else who could help us out with, with building a few more electric eel gardens. Well, I don't know. there's the last week we talked about the fact that we've got this new Nexus personal, right? And we talked about,
Craig (17:49.294)
fair enough. Fair enough. at that. We're having meetings already during the podcast.
with a meeting?
Who's that?
Craig (18:10.398)
yes, yes.
Rob (18:12.422)
While we were here in Minnesota that we're to be chatting and coming up with a little extra stuff so. Announcing now for the first time. A new member to the Munzee team and he's in charge of production and shipping and he'll be doing it right here from the fabulous state of Minnesota and it is none other than Minnesota boy. Welcome Tim. He's with us.
Craig (18:19.64)
Mm-hmm.
Really?
Craig (18:39.758)
Hey, sorry, Tim. Just, I'm going to interrupt. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy, Minnesota boy. There you go.
Minnesotaboy (18:40.974)
Well hey guys!
Minnesotaboy (18:49.682)
There you go. didn't know quite when to come in. I thought Rob was going to say it three times and he flubbed it.
Rob (18:49.818)
I should have had
Rob (18:56.326)
I, I, did, honestly, how'd I drop that ball? It's because I don't say Minnesota boy three times. I don't need, you know, that, beetle juice energy that, that Craig feels when he, when he has to do it. Anyway, you appeared when I said, you know, Minnesota boy once. So I guess it's a personal thing.
Craig (18:57.774)
Hahaha
Minnesotaboy (19:03.74)
That's true. That's true.
Craig (19:09.422)
you
Minnesotaboy (19:15.408)
Yeah, a secret to the rest of the people listening. I was actually here the whole time. I was just being real quiet.
Craig (19:15.522)
Exactly.
Rob (19:21.288)
Yeah, which is amazing because you know what? The other two of us could never, ever, ever pull that off. Like we would have to have been muted by the system in order to sit quietly, not be picked up laughing or anything else. So I, I will put you, no, you can't. No.
Craig (19:21.436)
Hehehehehe
Minnesotaboy (19:23.344)
You
Craig (19:28.534)
Craig (19:35.715)
Don't, don't put me, don't put me in that category with you, Rob. I can be quiet. I can be quiet. Well, I kind of get anyway, moving on, Minnesota boy, also known as Tim as well. Welcome mate to the Munzee team. glad to have you on board. Really are. however, if people don't know who you are, what you're about, they haven't met you at an event, et cetera, give us a little bit of a rundown of who, Minnesota boys, how long have you been playing the game, et cetera as well.
Minnesotaboy (19:42.632)
Yeah.
Yep. Thank you.
Minnesotaboy (20:01.672)
Boy, how long have I been playing the game? Longer than any of you have. There you go.
Rob (20:05.921)
it's true. Man, it burns. Why did you start there, Craig? Why?
Craig (20:06.254)
Really? Longer than Rob?
Minnesotaboy (20:11.417)
Yeah, I know he he let me walk right into that. That was awesome. Yeah, no, I've lived in Minnesota here my entire life. Started as a geocacher, kind of got me into this online gaming stuff doing things like this and then Munzee came along and I placed the first physical Munzee in the state of Minnesota. It is still active today. Amazing. And right now I'm.
Rob (20:14.991)
Craig (20:32.845)
Wow.
Rob (20:33.0)
All right.
Craig (20:35.672)
Hmm.
Rob (20:36.52)
Very good. Well.
Minnesotaboy (20:40.453)
I consider myself to be an avid player, now proudly part of the team.
Craig (20:44.174)
look at you, look at you.
Rob (20:44.336)
Haha, yeah!
Minnesotaboy (20:46.927)
Yeah, but anyway, no, I'm I think I'm at one of my ranked just under 300 right now on the leaderboard.
Craig (20:53.4)
Soon to be off the leaderboard if that's the case.
Rob (20:54.694)
He's, he's chasing, he's chasing you, Craig. He's chasing you, not me.
Minnesotaboy (20:55.331)
Yeah, yeah. Well, we'll see how it goes. We'll see how it goes. Yeah, glad glad to be a part of the team doing some production stuff and taking some of that shipping of stickers off of Rob's plate so that he doesn't have to be doing that all the time and can. Spend a more time thinking up new wild and crazy things for Munzee to do.
Craig (20:58.572)
good luck, he's chasing you first.
Craig (21:10.744)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (21:19.21)
Hahaha.
Rob (21:19.658)
that that might be a terrifying idea for everyone out there though. I'll be reined in because we've got definitely enough of a team to keep me from going too crazy. but yeah, we I'm very happy Lou stepped in and has been helping me with the shipping because she could see that it was a bit much for me and just not not my
Minnesotaboy (21:22.544)
You
Craig (21:29.27)
Mm-hmm. Exactly.
Minnesotaboy (21:38.054)
Yeah.
Rob (21:43.08)
absolute favorite thing in the world. It was usually more like a stress reliever to cut stickers and do that kind of stuff years and years ago. But yeah, it's, it's nice for us to pass that back over here to the US. The another big part of this is just how how things have changed with postal systems worldwide over the last year in particular. So I picked up the shipping.
Minnesotaboy (21:49.287)
Mm-hmm.
Minnesotaboy (22:08.188)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:12.892)
You know, late last year and and yeah, there have been so many changes and things starting in the US and headed out seems to be a bit of an easier system. So yeah, I'm excited for you to come on and we're going to be able to open back up some of the lines that we've had in the past. So everybody kind of stay tuned. We are soft launching a few things this weekend because you know the.
Minnesotaboy (22:13.222)
Yeah.
Craig (22:40.675)
Mm-hmm.
Minnesotaboy (22:40.687)
Yeah, yeah, we're going to use Munzee mania as a little bit of a launching point for bringing some personals back. Yeah, we we created we managed to create some yesterday, so we're hoping that those will be accepted well.
Rob (22:46.919)
Woohoo!
Craig (22:47.522)
No!
Craig (22:51.832)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (22:54.674)
Yeah, I'm excited for it.
Craig (22:54.816)
Yeah. Yeah. And just let, just let everyone else know out there exactly what's going on. If you live in the good old US of A or any other country in the world, then Tim, except for England, Tim will be shipping to you. So you, you'll get your, your stickers, you'll get whatever it is. Tim will be shipping those to you. If you are in England, the beautiful country of England, the motherland of England, then you'll get that directly from Rob. So that's how shipping is being handled.
I do say a lot of the US is going to get things like stickers quicker than they used to when it was from the UK. So that's all good.
Rob (23:32.168)
they will still get them at the pace of USPS, which I don't want to insult any of our lovely postal workers. But I have met a good handful across the states as I've come and bought more stamps that make it pretty clear why the snail mail is exactly what it is in the US sometimes. hopefully the locations here in Minnesota where
Craig (23:36.558)
Really?
Craig (23:40.854)
No.
Craig (23:44.695)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (23:52.909)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (24:00.658)
where Tim's going to be able to ship from. Hopefully you'll find the one that's most reliable in order to get the things and then get them out and also not run them through the shredder, but actually have our stickers and impersonals when we start doing that, have them actually delivered in one piece because that's, that's definitely the goal.
Craig (24:02.146)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:16.45)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:21.854)
Absolutely. So I think a lot of people are looking forward to this, Tim, as well. I was gonna say one more thing. And that is so basically, you're talking about stickers, you know, you brought up personals as well. The things that Tim doesn't actually post out, the things you buy for like products like the hats or the shirts or those sort of things, they are actually a third party. What what we're referring to is similar to the old resellers to a certain degree, but not to that, not to that variance. So it's, it's what do you do you what are your thoughts on that,
Minnesotaboy (24:22.087)
Yeah, absolutely.
Rob (24:51.39)
t-shirts, stuff that are, they're drop shipped basically. So it's produced by, you know, outside companies, that, that, yeah, it's, it's all, the, the large variety of products that we have that, that they look different on the store. So if it looks different, and it's not stickers, cappy plush cappy, which, Hey, by the way, Tim's got some plush cappies at his house. Why don't some of you buy those?
Craig (24:59.576)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:07.811)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (25:15.294)
yeah. yeah. That's right.
Minnesotaboy (25:16.347)
Yep, I do. I got a good suitcase full of plush cappies.
Rob (25:21.516)
Yeah, you do. So yeah, that makes sense. like I said, thanks, Tim, for joining us and welcome to the team.
Craig (25:21.858)
There we go.
Craig (25:26.09)
does.
Minnesotaboy (25:30.469)
I'm excited about it. I think it's going to be a fun journey.
Rob (25:33.426)
Yeah, yeah, I hope so.
Craig (25:33.774)
It really is. really is. Anything else before? Tim, are you excited about this weekend? I should say.
Minnesotaboy (25:39.405)
I am, Munzey Mania crazy, seven events, right?
Craig (25:42.158)
Yes, 7 events!
Minnesotaboy (25:44.581)
I mean, as everyone knows, Minnesota is a Munzey Mecham, whatever you want to call it, all the time, right? I mean, we have Munzeys everywhere. If you've never been to Minnesota before, you gotta come here. Physicals, virtuals, we've got it all, and these events only make it so much bigger.
Craig (25:52.204)
Yeah. Everywhere.
Craig (26:03.286)
well, just to, just to let you know, well, Tim, as the other day, I actually spent a few hours in the Mall of America and, that, that, that place there is absolutely littered with, virtual Munsies. And so you can, you can get your steps in, you can walk around this beautiful mall and it is huge. You can walk around and there's three, four levels, whatever it is. You can do laps around, have a look at the thing, but at the same time, have your head in your phone and still cup of the Munsies. One tip when you do that though, especially Mall of America.
Minnesotaboy (26:09.104)
Yeah!
Rob (26:09.846)
wow.
Minnesotaboy (26:15.597)
Yes.
Minnesotaboy (26:20.026)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:32.204)
bring up a second battery pack or something so you can always keep charged. Yeah.
Minnesotaboy (26:35.236)
Yeah, second battery pack and I've also found at the Mall of America, depending on what phone service you have, walking on the top level, the third level, you get better phone signal than you do if you're on the lower level. Makes it a little easier.
Craig (26:44.158)
Mm-hmm. Yes, you do. Yeah, very true. Very true. Very true.
Rob (26:47.954)
Yeah, that makes sense. You can also ride a roller coaster while you're there. So.
Minnesotaboy (26:52.518)
You can do that too, yeah.
Craig (26:53.326)
You can do a lot of things at the mall of America that you can't do in any other mall in the rest of the world. saying. So it is called the mall of America for a reason. meanwhile, Tim, I was just saying as well, I look, I look at the show notes and I don't have, there's no question of the week for Rob. So, so I'm going to chuck you on the spot, mate. Do you have anything you want to ask her apart from a pay rise? Is there anything else you want to ask Rob for?
Minnesotaboy (27:01.113)
Yes, absolutely.
Minnesotaboy (27:12.951)
yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Well, I yeah, actually actually I was kind of maybe a little bit going back to what I was saying at the beginning. Taking this sticker shipping off of Rob's plate means that his brain and his hands are going to have a little more time. And I was wondering what's one specific Munzee thing that Rob is like? Hey, I've been waiting to delve into this. What is it?
Rob (27:19.656)
Munzey player related.
Craig (27:43.086)
Wow! Wow, Tim, I like it!
Rob (27:44.584)
this is fun. man. You don't even know what just what you just opened. Wow. Because I just I was just freed. I was just unshackled in order to say something tucked away in my brain. And the rest of the team should be terrified except they don't listen. So they won't know. So what? okay. But my my all the powers all of a sudden. Anywho.
Minnesotaboy (27:51.525)
Ha ha ha!
Craig (27:52.159)
The Pandora's Box.
Craig (28:04.278)
Rub, rub, rub, rub, it back in, mate, suck it back in. Hold it in, hold it in.
Rob (28:13.16)
So something that I've thought about and tasked myself with for a really long time is what we have affectionately called the Z team internally. And that was something where, you know, we wanted to have some, some people that we could reach out to with thoughts, you know, like, man, we got this new type that we're talking about, we got this new gameplay element. What do you think of this?
And is this something that would be interesting? I think that that the the wheels are have been turning already on this idea. And rather than make it something that is, you know, like, hey, I have to know you or I have to have met you and sort of an inner circle type of deal. I think that we we might have to get creative. Sorry, excuse me for how to include more people around the world.
into like, how do you influence the game? What sort of way could we could we get the opinions of people outside the Munzee water cooler in in more of a, in more of a structured environment, I suppose. So that's a good question. Um, ask me again another week to Oh, man, so many thoughts.
Craig (29:12.29)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:19.842)
Mmm.
Craig (29:23.424)
Yes.
Craig (29:28.718)
Mm hmm. And maybe, maybe as you said, Rob, yeah, that's, I like it. But Rob, going a little bit further on that, maybe, yeah, instead of actually just having, you know, a couple of people that you met in person or different events, that sort of thing as well, you know, the wide range of Munzee players out there, you know, I was just say this, maybe a premium feature, just saying it may be another premium feature. I do. I do. Yeah.
Minnesotaboy (29:34.0)
Ha ha ha.
Rob (29:50.728)
You know how I love premium features. I so appreciate our premium players because you support the game. You are the reason that we're able to keep this company going so that we can create things that you can enjoy. Thank you everyone. Premium players. We appreciate you.
Craig (30:00.1)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:05.905)
Exactly. Alright Tim, I'll chuck another one to you as well. The tip of the week mate. Do you have a tip of the week for the listeners out there, if it's in it this week?
Minnesotaboy (30:12.816)
Tip of the week. Recently I was out walking in a couple of different spots and I think I don't know if you guys have done this tip of the week before, but make sure you bring your Munzee stickers with you. I was out doing some physical greenie walks and you know, depending on where you go, maybe they haven't been capped in awhile and probably because they're they faded or they're gone. You know, polls get painted over. You know, whatever it is, signs get replaced. So make sure you bring your stickers with you all the time. I always have a few on me.
Rob (30:15.976)
It's fun.
Craig (30:34.466)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:42.222)
Mm-hmm.
Minnesotaboy (30:42.598)
So you can do those deploys on the fly. you know if you come to a place and it's got you know Especially when you're walking around and one of them has got a nice bouncer on it. You want those points? You got to replace that Munzee
Craig (30:45.912)
Good tip.
Rob (30:47.496)
That's a great idea.
Craig (30:52.27)
Oh yeah. Or if it's a, if it's a crazy day, if it's a crazy day and the, you know, it's, it, it has been capped for 12 months and then you get that extra points as well. can get two caps for one. Good tip, Tim. Good tip. Tim with the tips.
Minnesotaboy (30:57.259)
yes, cruisy days for sure.
Yes.
I love it. love it. Bring your stickers with you.
Rob (31:05.704)
How interesting that your tip relates directly to your job. for someone to be able to replace a Munzee, it has to be.
Craig (31:10.222)
Hahahaha
Minnesotaboy (31:15.174)
If the stickers don't keep shipping, might lose my position. So we want to keep them going.
Craig (31:19.116)
Ha ha ha.
Rob (31:22.754)
Not prompted in any way. You had no idea that was completely on the spot that a tip of the week was coming. This is something that has applied to you recently. And yet it also ties directly to your position. I love it. That was great. And I am often caught out myself on that. Like I just go out walking or I end up somewhere not not thinking Munzee. But then Munzee kicks in and I'm always wishing then I wish I had one. Yep.
Craig (31:29.102)
Hmm.
Minnesotaboy (31:32.294)
Yeah. There you go. There you go.
Craig (31:35.054)
Well done.
Craig (31:43.31)
Hmm.
Minnesotaboy (31:43.643)
Yeah.
Minnesotaboy (31:50.362)
And another way to make sure you bring stickers with you, and I've done this a couple of times, just take two or three generics and put them inside your phone case.
Rob (32:00.658)
Hmm.
Craig (32:01.102)
that's good idea, yes.
Minnesotaboy (32:02.85)
You don't have to worry about having a couple in your pocket that way or whatever. You've always got a couple of stickers with you. Yeah.
Craig (32:07.776)
in your phone case. like it. Wow. Wow. Tim, Tim, why haven't, why haven't you written in Tim before with tips of week for me when I've been asking for it on social media? But anyway, Rob, Tim, welcome mate. And thank you very much for joining us this week and Rob, this ends another official Munzee podcast. I'm putting a bow in it, mate. I'm putting a bow in
Rob (32:09.126)
I'm gonna do that right now, honestly. I've never put one there. Great call. Good idea.
Minnesotaboy (32:17.51)
Thank you, thank you.
Rob (32:27.477)
thank you. That's a good idea. It was time. Thanks for joining us on this Munzee adventure.
Craig (32:33.378)
Don't forget to subscribe, rate and review on your favourite podcast app and join us next week for another informative episode.
Rob (32:39.209)
And remember, Munzee is more than a game. It's a place where we take players and turn them into team members. It's also a worldwide community of mobile game players.
Craig (32:49.292)
So keep scanning, keep discovering, keep the Munzee Spirit line. Tim and Rob, ready for this? One, two, three, Munzee line. look at.
Minnesotaboy (32:55.831)
Munzee on!
Rob (32:55.846)
Manzian! Welcome Tim!
