Craig (00:01.212)
Welcome to the Official Munzee podcast.
Rob (00:03.552)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.
Craig (00:07.629)
And I'm Craig, also known as Seemyshell. I started as an avid Munzee player, now proudly part of the team.
Rob (00:13.056)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.
Craig (00:19.892)
So sit back, relax, today's episode itself, we're gonna talk about the gardens of the month, more about those very, very soon. Also, how to build gardens. It's a very garden-heavy podcast, I just noticed, Rob, then, by having a look at all the actual show notes itself, which is not a bad thing. There's new things that happened, Sam's updated some garden stuff as well, which is really cool to see, and we'll go from there. Meanwhile, Rob, we said this a couple of weeks ago now, that I've wrangled you.
I've wrangled you sir, every single week, non-stop for almost two years. This week is no different. This week sir, it's a different type of wrangle though, because I can hear some music playing in the background, some kids as well, and I'm thinking, Rob, your kids are all grown up, what's going on? What's going on?
Rob (00:55.075)
Yeah.
Rob (01:04.494)
man, speaking of gardens, I'm, sitting at my, my in-laws house, Lou's parents' house in Wales. That is literally a farm. And, that's what we call it. it is the farm when we come to visit. so garden out the window, nieces playing nearby in the room nearby all under the age of 10. So yes, if you hear any, screams or, the dishes or various other things, then.
Craig (01:12.499)
Mm-hmm.
Mm hmm.
Craig (01:25.921)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (01:33.698)
You might even hear Lou in the background yelling something here in a few minutes. Who knows? Anyway, yeah.
Craig (01:33.812)
That's okay.
We haven't had Lou on the podcast yet, so that actually would be a nice surprise for everyone. I'll just say that.
Rob (01:44.194)
Well, it's- it is entirely possible, yeah.
Craig (01:47.172)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. At the moment, it's very different to me because I'm currently down in sweet home Alabama. So yeah, down in Alabama now, know, made my way all the way down from Minnesota. And I'll tell you, Rob, it is warm down here. We've got humidity and stuff like that too. it's, you know, I'm recording again from the comfort of Tuesday the van.
Rob (01:55.672)
Wow.
Rob (02:04.546)
Hahaha
Craig (02:11.572)
but she's a little bit on the warm side too, but nice and quiet though, as opposed to your sort of thing. So there you go, there's the difference.
Rob (02:17.56)
Quiet. Quiet I'm sure is good. Yeah, well everyone let us know. Don't you prefer it? Yeah.
Craig (02:21.298)
Exactly.
Yeah, that's right. But also in saying that to Rob, I'm going to say I went in my travels all the way down from Minnesota. There's going to be a question or a tip of the week actually from you if you've actually read the show notes. I'm not sure if you did really. It's a late upgrade. It's a late upgrade. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This came from me traveling south from Minnesota all the way down to here as well. And it came from a good friend, Munrose. So she's not very happy with me.
Rob (02:36.446)
I didn't. I looked. I looked earlier. There wasn't one. Okay, good. Yeah, cool.
Craig (02:53.598)
But anyway, we'll get to that at the end of the show. So stick around for the tip of the week, including you, Sue. may be coming your way. So there you go. Meanwhile, Rob, the events around the USA, of course, last weekend, we had none. And around the world, we only had one in England. And of course, being the end of the month, know, people slow down because their clan wars are all done, but they shouldn't slow down, I'll just say that. Leaderboards over the weekend, Rob, go ahead with Friday.
Rob (02:54.382)
Rob (03:00.43)
I can't wait.
Rob (03:21.614)
Friday we had Snickers 71 with 442,000 points, Herbie 311,000, and Coal Cracker 7 with 256,000.
Craig (03:30.933)
On Saturday we had Box of Wine, what a great name, Box of Wine, also known as the, I won't say it actually, it's a briefcase for some different areas around the world. 477,000 points, Dragons West on 317,000 points, and of course again, Coal Cracker 7, 241,000 points. Again Rob, we saw this last month with Coal Cracker.
Rob (03:43.758)
Hehehe
Craig (03:57.279)
She's got the similar points all the way through the whole weekend because that's her cap on points. There you go. 241,000 points, Cold Cracker 7 in third on Sunday,
Rob (04:03.116)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (04:09.23)
Schmitz Fam 4 with 391,000, Coal Cracker 7 again with 216,000, and Jaroslav Kos with 216,000.
Craig (04:18.76)
That's right, so second and third on Sunday itself, there's only like two or three hundred points difference between second and third between Cole Crackett and Jairus Love Cass, just because I like saying the name. Rob, this weekend though, we have two events in the USA, good old Missouri and Kansas and around the world, mate.
Rob (04:29.229)
Yeah, you do.
Rob (04:37.536)
Netherlands, Germany, and New South Wales, Australia, and Port Mac specifically.
Craig (04:43.26)
Yeah, Port Macquarie. And why I say Port Mac specifically, Port Macquarie, my old clan member is hosting that too. Tats, his Munzey name is Tats. They're tattooed squared. Well done mate. And another one, Phil Photos is also going to be there too. Why do I know Phil Photos very well? Because every single morning I wake up and I wake up to brand new cards from Phil Photos. So there you go. They're going to be up. They're going to be up.
Rob (04:59.746)
Okay.
Rob (05:08.32)
Yep, I capped a few of those in Minnesota, yeah.
Craig (05:11.758)
You did, you did. They're gonna be up in Port Macquarie. It's only like three attendees so far, Rob. So if you're anywhere, anywhere around, I'm gonna say anywhere, I'm calling out the rest of my clan as well because they live two or three hours north, two or three hours south. Get to Port Macquarie for next weekend and they're gonna have a blast there as well. Meanwhile, Rob, big events coming up. The big event we're about, first and foremost, October 24th, brews and booze with Munzee HQ, MHQ, at McKinney, Texas.
As I said before Rob, the who's who's going to be there. But, but, but more importantly, Rob, brand new things have happened and that is there's going to be more Munzee Mischief events. This time there's going to be two events on Saturday and one event on the Sunday now too. So you can have the four events over three days there in McKinney, Texas. And a big shout out to those who are organizing that too. Munzee Mischief is back, Rob. Are you happy about that?
Rob (05:46.03)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (06:03.724)
Yes, it is. So it's many Munzee mischief even that's how they've written it up because you know, not going all out like they have in the past. However, you know, this has come up last minute mainly because of me because I put this MHQ event on, know, bringing the team together. And yeah, so last week we said, hey, if anyone wants to host some extra events, well, guess what? They jumped on it. So yeah, thanks to that team.
Craig (06:07.657)
Craig (06:12.316)
Yes, yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (06:30.722)
We're looking forward to it. hopefully, at least a handful, some of the team members will be able to make it to, a couple of those events. Definitely can't guarantee all of them, but, but yeah, looking forward to it. It's going to be great. we, we do have quite a list of people that are, going to be there for the weekend. We're traveling. We're seeing people traveling literally from across the country. so if any international players want to come and join us, he, if you've never been to McKinney.
Craig (06:38.589)
Yeah.
Craig (06:42.772)
Yep.
Craig (06:54.088)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (06:59.458)
There's many, many, many points. Yeah.
Craig (07:00.788)
I will say, especially internationals or if you've never been to McKinney in general as well, the nine million points is the current Munzee world record by Coal Cracker 7, the amount of points in one day, absolutely huge, but it can be broken. And if you wish to break it, it can be broken in McKinney, Texas. I'll give you that because I've been through McKinney, Texas, Rob. And this is before I was even part of the team and I couldn't even keep up myself. So.
I'm still going to get lots and lots and and lots of points there myself in McKinney, Texas. I should, I should, looking, I'll probably be there for the, for the three Munzey Mischief events. Are you looking for three? Are you hoping for three as well for you?
Rob (07:41.814)
I am. Yes. Just can't guarantee everyone who's coming in as attendees from MHQ can't guarantee all of their attendance. But yeah, regardless, we're going to have a good time and yeah, look forward to seeing people again. Locals that I haven't seen for years now.
Craig (07:43.516)
Mm-hmm. No, no, no. Yes. No, of course not. Yep.
That's.
Exactly, just confirmed that's October 24th, that's Friday, October 24th, 25th and 26th now as well. So those three days in October. Get there and you can get all the MHQ team members badges. After that we have December 7th in Newmarket, England. Again, that's gonna be growing as well. Which is a brand new one, Rob. See, this is a new one on the calendar. FRLK. FRLK has messaged me privately and said,
They're hosting a big event in North Netherlands. Three big events for FRLK's birthday. It's going to be January 9th to 11th. It's on the calendar. Have a look. There's lots of things to be looking through. At the same time, Rob, as it gets closer, I'm going to discuss more and more about what FRLK and the team is going to be doing at that event. Very, very cool. There's lots of things happening for that event too, which is awesome to see. January 16th, 18th. Yes, January 16th, 18th.
Rob (08:51.822)
That sounds amazing. They've always got, they've got a lot, sorry, they've got a lot growing in the Netherlands. So yeah, it makes sense that, you know, he hosts something for his own birthday, you know, why not?
Craig (08:58.962)
Yes.
Yeah, why not? Why not? mean, I would, you know, no one else celebrates my birthday, anyway, January 16 to 18 Munzee Mecca in Florida. Again, it's going to be down there. Beautiful time for it as well. And then followed by March 6 and 7 Munzee madness back in Southern California as well. If you're a host of a growing event, reach out to me, just like FRLK and, and we'll have a chat and go from there. Meanwhile, Rob, let's dive directly now into this week's show and the developments from this week. First and foremost.
Rob (09:07.756)
Yeah!
Craig (09:33.032)
that we announced the gardens of the month came out, Rob. What do you think of these gardens?
Rob (09:38.062)
Yeah, we did. We've always, you know, got some interesting ones. And so, you know, the team votes on which ones we think meet the, meet the guidelines best. And so this time it was about gardens. So, you know, harvest, I believe is what it actually was. So the, the one, while there were two that were chosen and, one of them was a scarecrow, which, you know, loves to protect the harvest. And the other one was corny fun. so, you know, just get some.
Craig (09:50.249)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (09:54.193)
Yeah.
Craig (10:02.45)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (10:06.712)
corn growing and this season at least in North America you know the the harvesting of corn and so I believe Dylan was the one that led the charge on the corn he he thought he thought that that that fit into his yeah his thought yeah.
Craig (10:09.075)
Ha ha ha ha ha.
Craig (10:19.516)
He liked the, he did, he liked the, it really did, it really did. And that scarecrow was designed by Dad35 in Hamburg. And then Corny Farm was designed by Cruiser5 in Minnesota. Cruiser5, we met her, Rob, when we were in Minnesota too. So well done to those. But again, Rob, I always love to reiterate, if you're a badge hound, because everyone who actually deploys even just one pin in these gardens, and it gets selected as garden of the month.
Rob (10:34.85)
Yeah, we did. Yeah, we did.
Craig (10:49.286)
you get a badge. You develop, you put in one pin, you get a badge. You develop, put it, develop, deploy 50 pins, you get the same badge. So just the one pin in every single garden and you're more likely, Rob, to get these badges. So good luck for that. But anyway, Rob, meanwhile I'm gonna say about the tips, any tips you have to be actually selected for the Garden of the Month.
Rob (11:10.478)
Me? Let's see. We've put the ideas out there, right? We put the themes. They're out already for this year. We put those out months ago. It's time now to start looking at the 2026 themes and start getting those gardens built. Make them creative. Make them fun. Look at the theme. You know, have conversations with other people about what might be something that's a little bit entertaining, not just a
Craig (11:16.847)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Craig (11:21.48)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (11:25.673)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (11:29.5)
Hmm. Hmm.
Craig (11:38.686)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (11:39.278)
run of the mill, here's, know, here's just, um, ball, you know, and it's like, or it's sports themed or whatever. you're like, well, here's a ball. Yeah. Is there a little something extra that you might be able to do? And yet sometimes a little extra means that it has to be bigger. Just don't forget what we talked about last week, which is bigger doesn't mean 5,000 pins bigger. Those are usually.
Craig (11:44.147)
Yeah.
Craig (11:48.398)
Yeah.
Rob (12:06.318)
a little more difficult for the convincing within the team for those type to win. So it's also very difficult to get those filled. So yeah, we you want to keep it the right size so that it gets filled because it has to be filled. Yeah, just look at those rules that are set up on a cup of Z and make sure that you follow them because if you don't follow them, you cannot win bad news.
Craig (12:12.474)
Mm-hmm. Yeah. How's yesterday?
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (12:25.171)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (12:30.168)
Exactly. You can't even enter it into the cup of Z itself. My tip, Rob, and that is from a sort of, you know, a design point of view. And that is you don't need to, because cup of Z is great. You can actually upload a photo or picture or whatever design you want into cup of Z and it will do its best. It's not perfect, but it'll do its best to actually fill that picture, photo, whatever it might be in that garden itself. But
my design thing that I see it all the time Rob and it literally is a waste of pins and that is get rid of the white background. So you can see with these two ones from this month, the Scarecrow and the Corny Fun, they don't have white backgrounds. They don't need white backgrounds. You should never need a white background. And what I mean by white background is white around the design to make it stand out. So if you post it on CUP of Z and it looks good and it's got the white background,
Utilize the the cup of tea app whereby you can actually delete the white pins around the edges It may take a little bit of time for you to do if you want to do it like nice and neatly that's fine But yeah, delete all those white pins around the outside You don't actually need them unless you do need to highlight white parts for shading and shadowing I get it but otherwise Yeah, don't don't do that itself as well. Meanwhile, Rob I have been in conversations privately with Sam our good friend Sam Sam the man
I didn't, I won't call him the other word that I called him last episode because he didn't like it. It's, it's, it's yeah. It's just S-A-M. So that's all it is. It's just S-A-M. No other letters after that. Anyway, he is still working Rob on the 2026 themes to be on Cuppa Z. So that doesn't mean you can't start your building for 2026 now. You know the themes out there, everyone.
Rob (13:57.334)
No, don't. Don't do that. Not just me and him, or just me and you. Nope.
Craig (14:18.246)
so you can start building itself as well and utilize couple of Z use it on couple of Z build it on couple of Z and then when Sam brings in and we'll announce it when he brings in all the actual themes, then you can update it from there. That's exactly how you do it. So very, very easy, very simple. Meanwhile, Rob talking of Sam, you know how busy he's actually been. Do you know what he's actually done in the background? Rob? I don't think you do or do you do, you know, you do. Yeah.
Rob (14:41.678)
I do know how busy he has been because I am keeping him very busy. Everyone only knows the tiniest little bit. There's more coming, but you tell everyone what you know that Sam has been busy doing. You tell them that.
Craig (14:52.144)
You
Craig (14:57.966)
are you gonna just chuck it to me? Okay, we're talking about the, it applies mostly if you wanted to know if you've capped the entire pins for the bouncing virtual gardens, but it also means it's every garden as well. So what that means is that if you've captured at least one pin, you will see the new, your capture progress section in the garden status of the actual garden on Cuppa Z. So if you, you've got to cap at least one. If you don't cap any at all, you won't see it. So you've got to cap at least one.
And then you'll see the actual percentage itself and make sure you've completed it. And what it's good for Rob too, is especially those bouncing virtual gardens. So we all know, you know, they can be a different, different pin and numbers and styles and types, et cetera, et cetera. So, and we need to cap all of those pins on the bouncing virtual garden, including the POI to get the badge. So you, that way you can make sure that you've got a hundred percent complete. And then if you still don't get the badge in a 24 hours, that's when you can message support from there. So.
Yeah, that's what I found out. That's what I knew. There's a couple of other things as well.
Rob (15:58.274)
He's done a good job. He's always building things, you know, that that are helpful for everyone. He's put some stuff in that is available for building gardens. And some of that is the, you know, the ability to move multiple layers at once. You can do that. You can rotate all of them at once. can copy layers. The list of things that he is updating grows. He's even when he has other tasks from me or the team.
Craig (16:02.334)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:09.299)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:15.122)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Rob (16:28.256)
He still is working on cup of Z and cup of Z gardens in particular, because it is, you know, his, his project from the very beginning. And so, let's call it spare moments are the ones that he uses. and, and yeah, I had you read the beginning of all of that because, Lou and her sister arrived and the children were celebrating. And, so I needed to stay muted. So I'm attempting to keep my own volume down.
Craig (16:31.582)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:37.33)
Yeah.
Craig (16:46.409)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (16:51.444)
That's okay.
Rob (16:57.132)
I may have a special guest with me in just a minute. We'll see if that works out. Is there anything else that you need to tell us about Cub-a-Z since I kind of skipped around there?
Craig (16:57.35)
No, that's okay.
Craig (17:03.828)
I will only say this and that is if you've never tried building a garden before try it Play around with it and and remember you can play around with cup of tea gardens all you like and Sam you're tell me otherwise because I'm gonna know I'm gonna get a message on Friday Rob You can't really break it. You can't break the as long as you don't press press the the activate button or what's it called the the Live go live button publish. That's it. That's the word
Rob (17:30.638)
Publish. But hey, listen, with you just now saying that Sam knows that that is a challenge to me. Like, you can't break it. Then that's like, yeah, Rob can't break it. Is that what I just heard? So don't worry, Sam, I don't try and break your things anymore. You know that you and I same team, we work together. So it's see my shell that's doing it this time and
Craig (17:33.808)
It's too late in the day for me.
Craig (17:41.246)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (17:50.548)
you
Rob (17:53.134)
He he's got this built so well. I agree. It would be very difficult for people to do things that might end up messing it up. there are undo buttons and everything else. So yeah, just get in there and try it, play with it. If I can build a garden using cup of Z gardens, literally anyone can do it. Okay. You can build a square.
Craig (17:56.467)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (18:03.988)
That's right.
Craig (18:08.794)
Mm-hmm. That's right. That's Yeah, but we were saying that before Rob as well. Try everything else as well Try the new import import ones as well the import features Try all the different features that you see in and around cup of tea gardens. Give it a try I'm telling you you you won't be disappointed with so moving on Robert. We're talking about the Munzee monthly moments This is the last week for September for Munzee monthly moments this this month that you have to cap or deploy a physical Munzee
with some sort of tourist destination around. There's been some good videos out there, Rob, already, I'll say that. don't forget, every single entry gets a card and a badge. So again, if you're one of those badge hounds that Gary is, then get to it. Meanwhile, Rob, speaking of Gary, he surprised me. He's got his entry in already. Eagle Dad and Xenia, he has his entry in already, and it's not even the last hour of the last day.
Rob (19:02.624)
It's we're recording on the 24th. has six days to go. That is wild. That should motivate me to get the clam requirements done earlier than the night of the 27th. However, it's not. So I'm glad Gary, that you got your stuff together. maybe you can teach me when, when we see each other, I think he's going to be in McKinney. So he can teach me some of his tricks on how to be on top of it. Yeah.
Craig (19:06.068)
I know. I know. I know.
Craig (19:25.436)
Yeah. Mm-hmm. Some different tips as well, Rob, for the, be selected as the Munzee Monthly Moments video sort of finalists. And that is make sure that you are nice, calm, cool, collected on your video, it's pretty precise. And also show us something we haven't really seen out of the ordinary, you know what I mean? Don't just have a, or you can.
I shouldn't say don't, but you you won't get selected if you just do this 15 second video showing a physical Munzee and then showing, you know, a mirror or whatever. Those ones, they're, they're, they're, you know, run of the mill. I'm talking, doing something different talk. Look at, look at, look at the past winners, Rob. And again, use Cuppa Z to look at the past winners. They're all there at the top of every single month, the past winners themselves and seeing what other people like and enjoy because Rob, um, I select three or four finalists and then the, uh, as always.
the crowd, the public has the vote onto who is going to actually get that coveted extra badge, the extra goodies. And Rob, you still haven't, you've been too busy. You still haven't looked at how much I can give out. But anyway, we'll leave it at that. We're going to move on. Fair enough. Fair enough.
Rob (20:34.83)
I'm it's best if I don't we both know that all good. It's good for us to give to the people who are building, you know, social outreach for us, the marketeers, if you will, the Munzee marketeers.
Craig (20:43.396)
Mm-hmm. That's right. Muncie marketing. look at you getting that with the new words.
Rob (20:49.718)
Munzee Marketeer Monthly Moments video. There you go. forums.
Craig (20:53.172)
That's already Rob some already I struggle with saying the Munzee Monthly moments whenever I do it as well So no more M's, please please please Rob moving on the Roman skins for the modern myths and new modern myths and new skins for the modern myths Rob tell us about that
Rob (20:59.566)
Yeah. Nope.
Rob (21:13.054)
Okay, if you want me to tell you about those, that's cool. but before I do that, we have a special guest. She's joining me live here in the study at her dad's desk. It's my lovely lady, Louise. Hey, Lou.
Craig (21:16.114)
Yeah.
Craig (21:26.59)
Yeah.
Rob (21:31.169)
no. no. What happened? My mic just cut out, but we should be good and.
Craig (21:31.221)
Oh no. Oh no. You're back. You're back. You're back. Lou, if you can hear me, this is what happens with Rob all the time because he fidgets and fiddles and plays around with his microphone and every other digits. Then this is what happens. Lou, Lou, Lou, you'll hear Lou. Hello.
Rob (21:40.474)
If they're not.
Where did it go?
Rob (21:49.031)
Okay, there we go.
Rob (21:54.663)
I'm here, I'm here.
Craig (21:56.039)
I did recall actually, I lied because I said that I don't think we've ever had you on the podcast, but I think we've had you on the podcast once before, just like now as well. Like it was a special guest. Yes. Normally that's not a bad thing. Anyway, Lou, tell us as well, why we got you on air. What is, you're in charge of all the events, et cetera, as well. The events for October are very exciting. Do you have any more, if people want to do host events for October, what do they need to do?
Rob (22:04.843)
okay, because I'm walking past and get grabbed. I like it.
Rob (22:17.5)
Boom.
Rob (22:23.727)
Yeah, they, yeah, just get an event on the calendar and then you have to buy a basic package first. Then you get your event account and then drop me an email and choose which badge and icon you want. send you an invoice and get your artwork rolling. And we've got four different types. They're all pretty gruesome Halloween type things, but having lots of fun with them. And yeah, the events are popping up all over the place. It's really exciting.
Craig (22:26.654)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:30.664)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (22:47.42)
That's really cool. Also Lou, as you know, I I accosted your husband in Minnesota recently where we, set up a good, a good friend, Tim as well with all the different personal munchies. Now, does that mean that personals are going to come back, especially for events, Lou? Can people all? Yeah.
Rob (22:58.235)
Yes, love to.
Rob (23:04.591)
I hope so, yeah, because we, my favourite part of doing all the events is seeing all the awesome artwork and it makes me want to go to each of the events so I can get the badge and stuff. But it's really cool when people get a really special badge done up and then they want to get personals done to give them to some of their attendees and stuff like that. So yeah, that's definitely something we can do. We've done in the past lots, but it's kind of slowed down a bit recently. But yeah, we can get fully on board with that.
Craig (23:30.17)
Mm-hmm. And one.
Rob (23:31.051)
cause now you're not making them. Now that we moved it to term, that's Now we've got the capabilities. Yeah.
Craig (23:33.882)
No, exactly. they're going to be made correctly and on time. That's right. That's right. One more thing, Lou, before I let you go back to it, and that is, am I going to see you, Lou, in McKinney, Texas next month? Yes. Yes.
Rob (23:46.585)
Yes, I'm so excited. We're going back to our roots in McKinney, hosting an event there at Tufts and hoping to see. I'm enjoying looking at the calendar and each time I look there's another player that I can't wait to catch up with. And it's just really cool being back in our stomping ground and looking forward to seeing you guys there as well. So yeah, I'll be seeing you in Texas next month.
Craig (23:58.089)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (24:07.546)
And I did say to all the listeners as well, if they've never actually met you or any of the staff, we've all got badges now as well. So you can actually, you can cap Lou and get her a special badge saying that you've met her as well. And it's a really cool badge, Lou. Are you going to bring your cycle? You can bring your bicycle.
Rob (24:13.732)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Rob (24:21.084)
Yes.
Rob (24:24.903)
Yeah, I will when I always travel with my bike and I love riding around that area. It's going to be sunny and a lot nicer than UK will be in about a month's time. So yes, I'll definitely be bringing my bike and having some fun on that for sure.
Craig (24:27.666)
Mm hmm.
Craig (24:38.15)
Very, very cool. Well, thank you very much for joining us, Lou, and you get back to the kids and your family. Enjoy.
Rob (24:43.419)
Yeah, my sister's here all the way from New Zealand with her little one, so we're having lots of fun. I dragged her out on bikes today as well, actually. I think she hates me now.
Craig (24:47.86)
Craig (24:51.764)
That's right, I forgot your sister's from the most eastern state of Australia. Anyway. She will love that. But anyway, thank you very much, Lou. And I'll see you next month. Bye. Look at that. She says that better than you, Rob.
Rob (24:57.327)
Yeah, little Kiwi kids. Yeah. Thanks for having me on the podcast. you soon.
She does. She's got the timing down from runs beyond so much better than I do. All right. So where we were going was the Roman skins. We've now cut a bit of our time. did just talk about the the we talked about the personals just a second ago. You asked Lou about that for the event side. Personals are back for players as well. So
Craig (25:15.966)
She does, she does.
Mm-hmm. Yes.
Craig (25:31.684)
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Rob (25:39.271)
I don't know when this goes live that they will be available in the store at that moment. So everyone doesn't have to rush and see, but, um, Personals and that new Nexus personal, they're going to be launching either on Friday, which is the 25th or early next week. It depends on when our, uh, when our shipment comes in so that we can get those printed. Um, so those two things are happening. Um, and I'm sure you have questions, but let me jump.
Craig (25:41.725)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:00.618)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (26:06.779)
to the Roman skins because that was what I was gonna say, but I'm gonna make it very, very, very quick, which is as we record this, not even 100 % sure that these Roman skins for modern myths are happening. So let's just say, read the blog and let's just say everybody, if you don't know what we're talking about, cause you haven't seen it on the blog, next week is gonna be awesome because we are updating the scatters for modern myths and we're gonna give you.
Craig (26:09.779)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:22.356)
you
Craig (26:30.292)
ehhhh
Rob (26:34.679)
chance to get some new skins for them and those scatters are going to be on the owner's account. my goodness, it's huge. New badges and all kinds of stuff. So if it happened, celebrate with us right now. Woohoo. And if it didn't happen, get excited for next week. That's what I have to say about those two things.
Craig (26:41.606)
Craig (26:47.785)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (26:51.214)
Wow. As always, that's always good. This was good. Meanwhile, Rob, before we move on to the question of week, any hints on October Clan Wars for next month? yet.
Rob (26:55.143)
You
Rob (27:01.989)
You know what? would, I'd love for you to give me a hint. What should October Clan Wars be? I mean, literally you, Craig, because I don't have them put together yet. So, I mean, if you say it now, you know that you take the blame for it. Just be aware of that. Don't forget. What should I do? Any theme? Yeah.
Craig (27:06.06)
Craig (27:09.725)
Craig (27:16.55)
Yeah, yeah. Personally, Rob, personally, Rob, I do love going back to roots, Rob, going back to the old school, going back to where it's heavy or emphasized on the actual clan weapons, Rob, because they're the ones that everyone gets out all the time too, you see. So make the clan weapons more of focus possibly. So therefore they're not just one of those ones where you filter them out because they're only worth 20 points each, you see, that sort of thing too. So we're talking the.
Rob (27:30.471)
yeah.
Rob (27:43.681)
you mean those. I get you.
Craig (27:46.005)
Those yeah, I'm talking about the crossbows. I'm talking about the catapults. I'm talking about the old school Rob, you know, those little things too. And don't forget, if that's the case then, don't forget the boulders that come off or the, yeah, the scatters off the, the, cause again, Rob, because people, take these things for granted. We just cap them and move on that sort of thing. Whereas if they're out and about, then you forget, you can cap these, these boulders, cap these catapults.
Rob (27:56.353)
so it scatters.
Craig (28:13.372)
And they fit, they do scatter boulders on physicals, greenies. So you forget about them most of the time, unless you're in an event. So otherwise that's the only time I've ever kept a boulder off a greenie is at events because that's what you got everything open. But yeah, there you go. How's that for a thought? Food for thought.
Rob (28:27.719)
Well, there you go. I think that sounds good. And yeah, I think that's a pretty decent theme and pushing that way a little bit. So everybody wait until Sunday and let's see if you want to want to thank. see my show for his suggestion or if you're like, wait, Rob took his suggestion and went way nuclear. Yeah, sorry, everyone.
Craig (28:32.852)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (28:36.66)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Craig (28:44.18)
Well, well, I think they're gonna. That's that's what they're gonna think. I think that's that's more likely than the case like, Craig, that's a good idea, Craig. And then Rob's like, okay, Rob took it to the next level. So that's what it's about. All right, Rob, moving on to the question of the week. And that is this is from Amanda on the water cooler. Actually, we answered this question. Can we buy personals again? If so, where? I know. Wow, we answered it already.
Rob (29:01.137)
Yeah, yeah, yep.
Rob (29:07.303)
I know I'm just now looking at it. Just now looking at it and going, okay, yeah. So Amanda, back it up two minutes. Yeah.
Craig (29:13.982)
So when they do become available, yeah, but when they do become available, where are they gonna be? When they do become available, where?
Rob (29:22.203)
They're going to be at the store store.freeze tag.com. So available only online. and, yeah, Tim's going to be doing the shipping out of Minnesota. So hopefully we can get that all set up and ready. any that are purchased if we launch them today, as you listen Friday, there'll be shipped early next week, just so that we make sure that we have everything locked down properly and ready to go so that, when they leave Minnesota, they make it to their destination.
Craig (29:24.624)
Mm-hmm. Perfect.
Craig (29:31.732)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:38.524)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (29:49.429)
Perfect, All right, well moving on to the Munzee tip of the week. Now before I gotta emphasize this, Rob, we left Minnesota and Munrose, Sue, lovely lady, she was so excited because she said to me something and I didn't understand too much of what she said, but she said that all the condos are ready for her to get a room all the way down the highway back to her house. Now, I think she got a handful of them and I think they may have stopped for.
for lunch or for the bathroom, et cetera. And I didn't realize, but I overtook her on the highway. Therefore, I got the rest of the rooms in these condos and apparently they last 30 days. Explain more about the condos, That's the whole tip of the week is explain more about the condos. How do they work with the rooms every 30 days? Yeah. I didn't even know.
Rob (30:33.785)
You dirty dog. I can't believe that you would have passed her on the road and taken the only available room. And then you took the points the cap on points from poor Sue. I really feel for you. Mark probably was getting hit in the arm with every single condo while she was cursing your name. Anywho, condos are really cool. They're vacation condos is what we call them. They are a virtual piece they go out
Craig (30:46.504)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (30:51.764)
you
Rob (30:59.951)
There are five rooms inside the condo. They recycle every 30 days. So yeah, if there's a if there is one near you and you cap it and it says you've captured the condo and five rooms, that means it was full. However, if it empties and and you cap it, then you actually take a room. So it's like the virtual resorts. It's like the motels and the hotels. But the difference with this one is it's temporary.
Craig (31:22.548)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (31:27.739)
the ownership of that room that is deployed is temporary. It lasts exactly 30 days. So there are some people, Colecracker7, who have timing set so that they make a run along massive condo routes every 30 days because when the room gets archived, you get a message from Munzee. So.
Craig (31:32.744)
Mm-hmm.
Craig (31:40.683)
wow.
Craig (31:46.27)
Mm-hmm.
Rob (31:52.551)
You know when those messages start going through like for me for example mine were archiving yesterday in McKinney, so I was in Texas 30 days ago Driving up there and and it was like wow So it's a it's kind of a fun reminder of where you've been, know 30 days ago, so it's Yeah, sorry Sue that that Craig beat you to them. You know, it's what he does. That's all I can say
Craig (31:52.713)
Yeah.
Craig (31:58.67)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Craig (32:10.843)
Yeah, that's cool.
Craig (32:16.486)
Well, she shouldn't have stopped for lunch or the bathroom. I'll just say that. So she can only blame herself. All right, Rob, mate, that ends another official Munzee podcast.
Rob (32:21.005)
I agree. Yep.
Rob (32:28.345)
Thanks for joining us on this louder than usual Munzee Adventure.
Craig (32:31.668)
Don't forget to subscribe, rate and review on your favourite podcasting app and join us next week for another informative episode.
Rob (32:38.151)

Craig (32:42.292)
And keep scanning, keep discovering, keep those dishes moving and keep the Munzee spirit alive. One, two, three, Munzee on mate.
Rob (32:50.688)
loudest Munzeon ever.
Wow.
