Craig (00:00.688)
Welcome to the official Munzee Podcast.

Rob (00:03.422)
I'm Rob, also known as Coach V, your host and the president of Munzee.

Craig (00:07.319)
And Im Craig also known as Seemyshell. I started as an avid Munzee player, now proudly part of the team.

Rob (00:12.79)
Each week we'll delve into Munzee's mysteries, divulge some secrets, and inform players from around the world just what is coming your way.

Craig (00:19.516)
So sit back, relax. Today we've got a lot to discuss, Rob. A lot to discuss, including a very special guest, Rob. Yes, I got a I got a guest on the episode. Because people have been asking Rob all the time, why don't you have more guests? And that's the way they ask too. I always say that. Why don't why don't you have more guests on the show? Why don't you have Munee the more of the Munzee team on the show? That sort of thing too. I mean we did have Sam on one episode a while ago, but yeah, long ago. And we have

Rob (00:34.56)
good. Yeah.

Rob (00:41.23)
Mm.

Rob (00:44.835)
Long ago.

Craig (00:47.366)
We have had other people on the episodes, Rob, when I'm in person with them, for instance, you know, doing interviews at big major events too. So there's that. Yeah. So who could it be, do you think? Who who could it be? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Rob (00:55.234)
Yeah. That makes sense. I I really don't know. I really don't know. I look forward to hearing that one. So everybody stick around for I don't know, a few minutes and once once that pops out then you'll know. So why don't since y you actually just mentioned it. You said when you go to events and you're there in person, that's when, you know, we get a few more

Craig (01:18.094)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, yeah.

Rob (01:23.484)
guests. So why don't why don't you tell us what what you've been up to this week? There you go. Both both working on it, yeah.

Craig (01:27.238)
Well, I was gonna say, speaking of popping out, Rob, that's what I was gonna say. See, I was I was leading in a different way. Speaking of popping out, now Rob, we we talk about you and I, we spend the first you know, a couple of minutes only talking about our own personal lives, what's going on in our own personal lives. And there's a lot of people, I will say Rob, a lot of ninety-nine point nine nine nine percent of people out there enjoy this first part. But if you do not enjoy listening to what Rob is up to outside of Munsey, what like listening to what I'm up to outside of Munsey.

Then I'm here to let everyone know a a tip of the week for them. There is a skip or a fast forward button on all podcast apps. So there's like a 10-second skip, skip, skip, skip, skip, skip, skip. So if you use that 10 seconds now, bad luck. All you did was get rid of what I've just talked about using the 10 second skip button. But in the meanwhile, Rob, I have brand new hatching quail in the incubator. They're coming out as we speak. We've got six, maybe seven, just popping out as we speak as well. So

That is what I've been up to. meanwhile, sir, what about yourself?

Rob (02:29.016)
Well, I have been working on something that's super exciting in the background because if I sat here and talked about all the actual Munziey stuff that I did every week, people would fall asleep. because, you know, of of yeah

Craig (02:34.662)
Yeah.

Craig (02:43.332)
It's not much. Fr from a from from a guild from a guild member it's not much.

Rob (02:51.402)
okay, okay. That's a good point. In terms of Munzie gameplay, you are correct. It's not much. I'm in the land of not plenty. I have to I have to leave where I'm at in order to go and get points and everything else. I'm using cap on boosters. You can see that. so yes, so not not a ton of gameplay. However, th so many background tasks going on.

Craig (02:57.649)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (03:03.043)
Mm-hmm.

Travel. Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (03:15.793)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (03:19.976)
in my life these days that that are just not fascinating and or not public information that that that are my tasks. So however, been doing some other stuff that we that I want to talk about as part of i it's going to extend into the Munzi universe. There's going to be some crossover because we are getting enough players as we were looking for and it is a

A new app, it's a unique app, it's very different. It's called Sky Drift Explore the World. So this is an app that is hot air balloon based. And it is location based because it it you launch hot air balloons from your location and you send them out all around the world and you find little artifacts and create little collections and that kind of thing.

Craig (03:49.762)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (03:58.894)
Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:07.441)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:16.604)
Get badges.

Rob (04:17.928)
And yeah, you get little badges, achievements, all of those types of things are going to be expanded. There's going to be a Munsey crossover, and we're going to be looking to the Munsey players to to do some stuff that that will actually impact the game of Sky Drift. And there will be some things that sky drifters do that impact the Munsee side as well. What's that gonna be?

Craig (04:20.401)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:29.971)
Craig (04:35.558)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:42.558)
don't know yet. In this

Rob (04:44.274)
y you need to be in in that pioneering set of players who you maybe you weren't there when Munzie launched, so you're not in that early bird adopter group. Now's your chance to be in the early bird adopter group of Sky Drift. And we are again Sky Drift Explore the World. So check it out. Explore the world with us. it's building. It's building now. The the community is building. It's been really fun to watch that.

Craig (05:00.174)
Mm-hmm. Skydrift.

Craig (05:08.934)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (05:13.378)
I wasn't part of the initial launch of Munzi, but but I imagine that it felt a little bit like this, which is it's pretty it's pretty interesting. Yeah, I enjoy it. So anyway, there's my what three minute chat about that. Yeah sorry, supposed to be shorter.

Craig (05:21.158)
That's really cool. That is cool. That is cool.

Skydrift. Skydrift. I do I I've part of it, Rob, too. I've yet to work out the the best way strategically in order to gain some points because it is it is you have friends on there as well. And Rob obviously I'm I'm one of your friends on there too, but

Mate, I d I don't know how you you but you're streaking your head when it comes to all the points and stuff. And I'm like, how am I so far behind when it comes to points as opposed to other friends on there too? I've got plenty of friends on there now too because there's other Munsee players have join actually joined up too. You know, a few ones off the top of my head, you know, Martez, for instance, she's up there as well as old man Trouble, he's on there as well. And there's a few others too, so that I've and they they joined after me.

But now they're ahead of me, Robert. I'm still yet to work out the the intricate details of of how do I can get ahead in points. But anyway, meanwhile that's skydrift dot dot explore the world. Is it available on both for Apple and Android? Mm-hmm.

Rob (06:28.116)
It is, it is. It's a little idle gamer to you know, for those who watch their phone and you're looking for something that you don't have to travel around and play. and it pops up with notifications and tells you your hot air balloon landed, wanna send it out again, that kind of thing. so yeah, just just a little thing to do when you don't feel like getting out in whatever the weather is, wherever you are.

Craig (06:38.202)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:43.33)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Craig (06:54.012)
Fair enough, mate. Fair enough. Have a look at that app. Meanwhile, Rob, let's talk about the events from last weekend. We had Ohio, Indiana is Arizona, two in Florida and one California. And I said Indiana and it's supposed to be Iowa. There we go. There we I fixed it. I fixed it. Around the world, mate.

Rob (07:05.389)
Well done, you fixed it. Yes. And around the world we had Ontario and British Columbia, Canada. We had six in England. There was Finland and Denmark.

Craig (07:18.158)
Okay, Rob, here we go. The leaderboards over the weekend. Because of the big events in England, we had a total of 19 millionaires on Friday, 26 millionaires on Saturday, and 12 millionaires on Sunday. On Friday, the number one player in the world, Colecracker 7, with 4.9 million points in first place, second place, Jack Sparrow with 3.5 million, and in third place, Chicken Run with 3 million. Rob (08:28.526)
That was quite quite interesting, DJ. Well done.

Rob (08:36.856)
Yeah, thanks for giving me the long one. And we start off with Brasilia, 4.3 million. He's one of the hosts of the six events, so well done there. Plenis SMV or Pliny SMV, Toxin Dragons West tied for second there with two point four million. And third, fifth, whatever. Cole Cracker7, two point two million. Well done to those.

Craig (09:53.459)
There was a lot. There was a lot. And I said you said I gave you the 26 millionaires. Rob 19 plus 12 is more than 26. So I say more names than you. So anyway, Sunday, 12 millionaires in total. First place, Jack Sparrow, 2.2 million points. Second place, Chicken Run, 2 million points. Third place, plenty SMV, 1.8 million points. Then the rest of them, here we go. DJ Mitch, 25, boots and cats and boots and cats.

Rob (10:04.486)
you got me there. Good point. Good point.

Rob (10:22.967)
Yeah.

Craig (10:23.346)
1.7 million points, followed by Q 22, Q17, and Jaris Locass with 1.6 million points. Dragons West, 1.5 million. Toxin, 123 XLF, 1.1. And then following out the millionaires, we have Peel Ringer. That's a new name. Nightwood and Pebbles and Co. with 1 million points in total. So there you go. Well done to all those players over there in England, I dare say. And a few that were here in the USA, too, by the looks of things, too. So that's very cool.

Rob (10:41.207)
Yeah.

Rob (10:45.144)
Wow.

Rob (10:51.746)
Yeah, some deploys there, cap on points for sure, yeah.

Craig (10:54.79)
Absolutely, especially with Q twenty two Q seventeen. She loves the deploying for the big events, so well done to you, Brenda. Meanwhile, the current events come up this weekend. We have Arizona, South Carolina, California and Kansas and around the world, mate.

Rob (11:08.6)
Germany and Netherlands.

Craig (11:10.578)
That's it, so only a few. And don't forget, get your cards out on Tuesday for the following weekends for those double points for cards. Meanwhile, Rob sorry, triple. Did I say triple? No, they're triple points. big events, big events coming up in July 10, 11, 12 in the Netherlands, Ohio, 20, July 23, 24, Munsey at Midwest Geobash, September 18th, 20, Munsey Mania, Minnesota, November 6th, 7th, 8th, Munsey Mirage in Las Vegas.

Rob (11:18.542)
Triple.

Triple points.

On Tuesdays.

Craig (11:38.581)
January 14, 15, 16, 17, Munzy Mecca in Florida. Alright, Rob. Here it is, right here. The interview I had with the number one player in the world who travelled from the good old US of A to England last weekend for all those big events. Here she is, some know her as Linda, others Cole Cracker 7.

Craig (00:00.088)
G'day Linda, also known as Coal Cracker Seven. G'day to you. Good morning. It is good morning. That's right, that's right. So you've just returned to your you're you're bright eyed and bushy tailed, but you've returned from England, the UK?

Linda (00:08.584)
Good morning.

Linda (00:19.034)
Yes, I got in late yesterday.

Craig (00:21.331)
Nice, nice. So you went over there just specifically for the big events over in over in England, didn't you?

Linda (00:27.175)
Yes, all six of

Craig (00:28.842)
Mm-hmm. And how many were in the contingent from the good old US of A? Was it just you and W Hello?

Linda (00:35.71)
yes, that w we were the only two from the United States. There were players from Australia, the Netherlands, Germany. I think that's it. yes, England.

Craig (00:38.83)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (00:42.136)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (00:47.764)
England as well, of course. And some some some big some big events. You know, there's seventy plus players at these events. So did you meet everyone? Did everyone come and shake the Queen's hand?

Linda (00:58.883)
No, because they do things different over there.

Craig (01:02.09)
well let's just jump straight into that. What's the differences that you found that give me three or four or five main differences between the US and the UK when it comes to Munzie events?

Linda (01:11.676)
When it comes to these events, what they do is they have a start time and they put the badge and the event pins out and the event indicator pin and they're out for twenty four hours. So you can come anytime and cap them. So if you like if the event starts at ten o'clock, a lot of people will show up at ten, but most of them will come at eleven, twelve, one and you're out capping pins so you really don't get to meet them.

Craig (01:23.096)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (01:28.802)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (01:35.278)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (01:40.654)
so basically it's just a twenty four hour time frame. Very, very different to the ones here in the US. In the US, everyone's there at exactly the start time, like eleven AM or ten AM, whatever the start time might be. Everyone sits around, everyone has a has a chat, a chin wagon, and then people go out and do the do the walk and then they get picked up within the twenty four hours here in the US. Yeah. So

Linda (01:50.386)
Yes.

Linda (02:02.908)
Yes. In the UK they get picked up within twenty four hours. Yes.

Craig (02:07.252)
Wow. Wow. So if they're if they're what's the differences then in regards to how they place them over there, the actual event pins?

Linda (02:15.128)
they don't normally use flags like I do here in the United States. However, they will put them on a a they will print them out and laminate them and then zip tie them to light poles or other things. Once in a while they'll just go ahead and use double sided tape and stick to road signs or something.

Craig (02:19.576)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (02:29.184)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (02:36.672)
Mm-hmm. Right, right. So therefore, I suppose if that's the case then then you don't really need to pick them up you know, within that twenty four hour period because people aren't gonna pick up a laminated QR code as opposed to those the flags that we use here in the US. Wow.

Linda (02:52.702)
Correct. However, this past time, there was one area that they did use flags. They used about ten, twelve flags, something like that, and they didn't put out until the day of. The rest were put out several days before.

Craig (03:01.164)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (03:05.015)
Right.

Wow. Wow. That's interesting because you think about it as well. Do you walk further if that's the case then? because you can't get that exact a hundred hundred foot distance between like you can with pin with the flags. Flags you can walk for a hundred foot, put a flag in, walk for a hundred foot for put a flag in. But there's there has to be more than a hundred feet between these pins, surely.

Linda (03:28.434)
There there are some times. However, what they did this time is they went out several days before and decided where the pins were gonna go. And then a couple of days before the event, like we started on Wednesday after sh right after I landed there, Wednesday and Thursday, we went back out and physically put the the QR codes on the light poles and stuff. So it it was actually like a three-step process.

Craig (03:55.885)
Right.

Linda (03:56.358)
He decided where they go, then a couple of days later he puts them physically out. We go out and cap them on the day of a or the day after and then he picks them up like within a week.

Craig (03:58.297)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:08.332)
Wow, wow. So w so he doesn't actually even pick them up. They're just active for twenty four hours, but he doesn't necessarily need to even pick them up after that because again, as we said before, they're not really on flags, so there's no actual property to pick up apart from the the the laminated QR codes. Interesting, interesting. What's your what's one of your favorite moments of over this last weekend that you you had? Give us give us a little favorite tidbit that you enjoyed.

Linda (04:13.758)
Correct.

Linda (04:33.082)
I enjoyed meeting everybody at the start time. yeah, it was great seeing everybody and a couple of people I've met before and I really enjoyed seeing them again. And then I met several new people and I enjoyed talking to them, Bonnie B one for an example. And so I had never met her. She's in a

Craig (04:36.204)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Craig (04:41.902)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:46.349)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (04:55.575)
Mm-hmm.

Linda (05:00.4)
another clan from me and it was nice to meet her face to face for a change. But

Craig (05:02.05)
Mm-hmm.

Nice, nice. And just to just to reiterate another guild from you, not there's no more of the the clans, there's no more cleals It's all right. It happens to all of us still. We're all still getting used. I'm gonna tell you now, Linda, in twelve months' time there's still gonna be people saying the w the the clan word. So it's it but it's we're trying to say guild now as opposed to the clans.

Linda (05:09.061)
Excuse me, yes, guilt.

Linda (05:24.367)
I I understand.

Craig (05:25.718)
No, that's all right. So did did you embark any of your knowledge of event hosting from the US, for instance, over there at all? Did they pick up any of your information at all or?

Linda (05:35.828)
as a matter of fact they did because I kept wanting to take pictures of everybody that showed up at the start time. And they don't do that over there. So, you know, it was it was new to them. But I think they enjoyed it.

Craig (05:37.485)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (05:42.386)
yes. Yeah

Yeah. I was gonna say yeah, I was gonna say that the exact same thing and that is that I saw your photos, etcetera, on social media and I love seeing groups of photos and groups of players and whatever on social media as well. But I looked and there was no more than twenty five, twenty-six, twenty-seven people in those photos at any one time. I spoke to Sam separately, Sam from Cupas E Sam, and he said they do things very differently over there whereby they don't do the group photo with everyone in the photo for the for these group photos at all. So

He said that I thought that was very interesting as well, where very big difference between the two.

Linda (06:21.626)
Right. the organizers of these events just don't like to take pictures and I I can relate to that. I don't like to be in pictures but I'll take But I'm

Craig (06:27.699)
Yeah. Yeah. you're always front and center.

Linda (06:34.022)
Yeah. I I wanted to have something to show everybody that yes, we do have they did have events over there and that yes, a a lot of people show up. But as you can tell by the pictures, they were either out capped the others were either outcapping or they showed up later in the afternoon because all day Saturday it did rain.

Craig (06:41.346)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:49.624)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (06:53.738)
Yeah, yeah, I I heard that in regards to the weather reasoners. one more thing that they I heard the difference as well is that over there they walk a lot r and and rather than actual transport like vehicles and cars, etcetera, like you do here.

Linda (07:12.146)
That is true. When I landed on Wednesday afternoon and got down to Bournemouth, I walked six and a half miles that day, I walked six and a half miles on Thursday, and then Friday again I walked about five miles and Saturday it was another six and a half miles.

Craig (07:29.704)
Wow. Yeah. So that's a very big difference as opposed to here. The good old US of A, they do love their transport. They do love their their cars and and whatnot as well.

Linda (07:32.904)
Yes.

Linda (07:37.708)
they do. They have great transportation system over there, from my opinion. the the other thing that that they don't do over there is they don't play games. Like a couple of the events here, like the Megas and the and you know, like Bob's in Miss Minnesota, he always plays games. They don't do that over there. They get down to business. Here's the pen, go cap.

Craig (07:40.704)
Yep, yep. Yeah, yeah.

Craig (07:49.426)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (07:56.972)
up in Minnesota. Yeah. Yeah.

Go. All the pins are out, go and have fun and that's it. And we'll see you on the on the on the trails sort of thing. It sounds good. Linda, before you Yeah. Yeah. No blasts are used. Any reason for that at all or

Linda (08:11.548)
Yes. They do not blast.

No, no blast. The English the English do not blast. They walk around and cap. So if you have it close to the pin, all your cards, chances are they're gonna get capped. But the further out you go, chances are they're not going to get capped.

Craig (08:27.509)
Mm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (08:33.367)
Yeah.

Wow, that's a big difference compared to here in the US. The US we love to blast everything over here. Probably the reason why you know, it it that happened back in yeah, two hundred plus years ago or two hundred and fifty years ago. Anyway, anyway, very, very I'm getting off track. Linda, one more thing before we go, and that is are you part of the committee in any way in regards to the Florida, big Munzie Florida events coming up in January?

Linda (08:49.214)
Yeah.

Linda (09:05.466)
Yes, I am.

Craig (09:06.464)
Yes. Have you got any more information you could maybe give us or any any other secret stuff that hasn't been announced yet?

Linda (09:13.948)
Well, you're gonna fly into Jacksonville or you're gonna drive over to Jacksonville and all the events will be held down towards Orange Park area, which is right outside of Jacksonville.

Craig (09:16.205)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Craig (09:22.952)
Right, right. And the very, very good. And i i because it's an American mega event, if you put your cards pretty much anywhere along the roads, they're gonna get capped by many players as opposed to the English. So there you go. Well, Linda, thank you so much for for chatting with us anyway. I'm gonna get back to Rob, unfortunately. I'd prefer you as a co host, but you know, don't tell Rob that. thank you again so much. And you've rest up now. Have you got any jet lag from the trip?

Linda (09:36.338)
Correct.

Linda (09:45.136)
Yeah.

Linda (09:51.893)
I slept twelve hours last night.

Craig (09:53.662)
that's why. See there you go. And also, if and if anyone knows you, they know you well, that is that you know, you're up at one, two AM in the morning starting your daily caps from there too. I've seen that.

Linda (10:05.247)
don't tell anybody but I didn't do it this morning.

Craig (10:09.036)
no, no. Well I did see you're on the leaderboard with multi multimillionaire days, which is well done. Very good. And keeping keeping that number one spot too. And again, congratulations to being the number one Munzie player in the world.

Linda (10:23.73)
Well, thank you.

Craig (10:25.196)
You take care, Linda. Bye bye.

Linda (10:26.822)
Bye.

There you go, Rob. That was you know, Colcrack has actually had a great time over in England by the looks of things.

Rob (12:06.776)
Where does she, you know, not have a good time? I think that's that's what it's all about. But thank you, Linda, for the information about the differences and, you know, similarities, 'cause there are definitely some similarities, about those events over in the UK. I'm really glad that she went. It's a good advertisement for why, you know, if it's possible for people to travel, why not? Why not go meet players from all around the world? 'Cause we truly had

Craig (12:10.582)
Is it true? That's that's true. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Nice. Mm-hmm.

Craig (12:29.266)
Mm-hmm.

Exactly.

Rob (12:33.543)
a very international group this this year at those events. So well done.

Craig (12:38.54)
Mm-hmm. Well done. Well done. Yep, very cool. And thank you so much, Linda, for I reached out to her last week and said, Do you mind having a chat with me about about English? She's like, No, not at all. So yeah, thank you again, Linda. We are we all appreciate it. And the listeners appreciate too, because sometimes they just get sick of Rob and I's voice, just the two of us. So there you go. All right, Rob, what's happening? new baby animals and deploy event. What what's this about? What?

Rob (12:55.797)
Indeed. Me too.

Rob (13:03.874)
Yeah. I mean, you know, we like to keep things fresh. We like to do some fun stuff and yeah, here here it is. So we set up a deploy event that leads into actually earning d different teapobs that are deployed on your account in order to, you know, just get out there and get some more points scattered around the world. So this is what happened for week one. Again, this launched on Friday.

Craig (13:08.24)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (13:28.082)
Mm.

Rob (13:33.322)
So in in this first week, you deploy three flat objects or friends of any type, and when you do that, you earn a baby raccoon teapob. So that's the temporary player-owned bouncer. So that baby raccoon comes from years and years and years ago when we had those and players didn't have the opportunity to kind of own those. They were mobs.

Craig (13:40.338)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (13:47.218)
yep.

Craig (13:52.711)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (13:58.451)
Mm.

Rob (13:59.27)
so so this is a a new chance to get a special badge for this and and so that's been set up. Then the other deploy setup is to deploy five elemental mysteries of any type, and so those could be physical or virtual. And if you do that during the week, then you earned a baby fox. So that's another one of those teapops. So so we've kind of brought some, you know, baby animals back into the game because

Craig (14:21.278)
mm hmm.

Rob (14:28.614)
they're so cute, you know, the different types of things that you hear. I mean, you can see it in person with your baby quail and your your very young goats and chickens and all those things. Everyone else doesn't get to see that on a regular basis, so we throw them into the game instead. Yeah.

Craig (14:29.937)
Mm-hmm.

Mm.

Craig (14:36.058)
Yeah, this is true.

Craig (14:40.466)
Mm.

Craig (14:44.164)
Mm. No, that's fair enough. That's fair enough. And and the they are different I wonder what's coming out, so it's every single week, Rob, for this month we've got new baby animals and new tasks to complete for each one? Nice. Yep.

Rob (14:55.788)
Yeah, that's right. This was week one and the blog doesn't just leave it, you know, ooh, I wonder. It literally says every Friday we're gonna have new baby animals. There are going to be, you know, new deploy tasks and types. So the question is which animals are next? And those of you listening as this releases, what w what do you think? Which ones? And you'll find out at noon.

Craig (15:06.417)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (15:10.226)
Mm-hmm.

Mm.

Craig (15:17.558)
Mm. Yeah. Exactly. Meanwhile, Rob, meanwhile, there was one one baby animal you won't get, and that is the baby monkey. Because the baby monkey is available for the redeem as well if you're a premium member. And even if you're a premium member, it's not too late to redeem your baby monkey. Rob, are you listening to me? Rob? You, sir, have not deployed your baby monkey for this month, and you're holding the team back, just saying, again. Anyway.

Rob (15:37.676)
Rob (15:45.88)
Imagine that.

Craig (15:46.747)
And that's so you don't need to travel to do that. You can do that in the Redeem saw as well. So don't forget those. There we go. While Rob pushes his button and gets his baby monkey launched, we're going to talk about the new sponsored garden badges. These have come out, these look fantastic. Now, what these are quickly is that if you've seen the bouncing virtual gardens, the BVGs as they're known as well, they all come with an actual badge. So if you cap the entire BVG.

Rob (15:51.16)
Pushing the button now.

Craig (16:12.592)
You obtain that particular badge, including the POI, you can obtain the badge for that. What these are, they're 750 Z. They are sponsor. Responsible, sponsored. They are sponsored. Responsible. They're sponsored, Rob. So sponsored. So what you can do is if you like you have a favorite garden or one of your own gardens, for instance, you can you know use fifty 750 Z to actually obtain a badge for that particular garden. And what happens is from there is that once you

Rob (16:25.258)
Answered, yes, yes.

Craig (16:41.33)
you cap the entire garden including the poi then you get that particular badge and so does everyone else as well. Now Rob there was a couple of questions that came out in regards to this when it first was launched and that is what if you've got your own pins, like your own virtuals in there and you can't cap your own virtuals unless there's a bouncer on it. Can you still get the badge? And the answer is yes you can just cap everything you possibly can from that actual garden including the POI and the badge will come to you. The other question Rob was

I've capped this I've capped that garden like two or three years ago. I love the garden. It looked great. But do I get a badge for it now or do I have to go back and cap it again? No, you get the badge for it 'cause you've already capped it all. So they're retroactively awarded as well.

Rob (17:25.238)
Now the the here's where I got stuck, 'cause there are a couple of gardens that I was like, Yeah, okay, here's one that I got, but I didn't get the POI. So I'm I've got I've either got to go back to those places and I mean these are places where there were events that I I traveled to. One of them is the the G C V garden, the geocaching vlogger celebration a hundred K Garden. I was gonna put that one out there as a badge just for our testing and Sam pointed out.

Craig (17:28.529)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (17:33.126)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

yes. Yeah.

Craig (17:52.891)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (17:54.624)
You didn't cap the POI. And it was like, wow, I can't believe it. So there are some gardens that people are having to put the POI out there now, virtual garden POI. So the here's what's nice is that Sam's got it built in when you look at a garden on Cubazy, that you can see which ones have you capped and have you, you know, check all of them are capped or you own them so that you know.

Craig (17:55.974)
P O Y, yeah.

I can.

Craig (18:05.548)
Mm. Mm-hmm.

Craig (18:15.398)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (18:19.332)
mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Rob (18:24.738)
possibly in advance, even if you're gonna earn that badge if you sponsor it. So yeah, just take a few minutes, check through some gardens. and again, you can choose your own, sponsor your own, which is great. if you build them all over the world, you might be just setting up the those locals, you know, with with a new badge and they would love that and celebrate. So thanks for thanks for building them a garden, but also thanks for providing them with a with a badge. So yeah.

Craig (18:29.863)
Yeah.

Yeah.

Craig (18:36.178)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (18:42.532)
Yeah, yeah.

Craig (18:50.566)
With a badge. Exactly. But not only that, you don't have to actually sponsor just your own as well. You can sponsor other people's gardens too, as well. So have a look through Cupaze and there's all that in there, all that information is in there as well. How to sponsor someone else's garden if you wish to. you know, like a a give back to a bit of a thank you as well, Rob, you know, to to it as well. So there you go. Very, very cool indeed. I do like this this badge and there's this badge hounds.

out there, one of which he is listening as we speak as well, and he's there thinking to himself, I've got to get more, I've got to get more, I've got to get more in especially in f in Florida.

Rob (19:25.134)
There are a lot, a lot of gardens around that player and in the general area, so there's a lot of opportunity for extra badges now.

Craig (19:29.714)
Exactly. There is, and I think that's what he's about to do. Anyway, Rob, also at the same time, this week some new greeting cards came out. it's a very tropical theme, Rob, as well. The new greeting cards. Do you like these? These there are three new greeting cards.

Rob (19:38.302)
No.

Rob (19:46.284)
Yeah. We've you know, it it's summer in the northern hemisphere. Some people can feel it when they step outside, others still waiting for that three days of summer. But but yeah, tropical theme. In in case everybody hasn't noticed, we've kind of got this water-ish theme throughout the month. There's some of that flowing through the atmosphere, you'll notice it more with a few other things coming through the month. And so water tropical.

Craig (19:50.075)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (19:56.642)
Yeah.

Craig (20:00.677)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (20:08.818)
Mm.

Rob (20:14.53)
Did you see there's a tiki card? This is one of those things where, you know, for a long time, I want a tiki card. Yeah, and how how could we, you know, not deliver on something that cool? Yeah.

Craig (20:18.63)
Yes.

Craig (20:24.666)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (20:28.362)
Exactly. Exactly. And don't forget as well that you have to actually have purchased these cards themselves before you see them actually in the Redeem Store for stamps later on down the track. Some people, Rob, they look at the Redeem Store for in the stamp section, the card section, and they see one or two and they go, There's not that many in there. Well, there's you know quite a few in there. It's just that you don't actually own that particular card first. So if you want to use these tropical themed ones like the tiki ones, etc., for for future use with stamps.

Then you need to purchase at least one. Just one. that's all you need. Once you have that one stamp, then it'll come up in the redeem store from time to time. So more options for the redeem, Rob. Very, very cool indeed. Now you were talking about water themed, Rob. We're talking about water theme in Whittle series three?

Rob (21:16.46)
That's right. Series three of the whittles is upon us. They are here. And this is water themed. And he each each of these series have been whittled from different types of materials. And everyone maybe has noticed that. Some, you know, don't don't pick up on those things, so this is the part where I spell it out for you.

Craig (21:32.741)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (21:39.793)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (21:39.978)
these materials that have been used are from different forms of water, different locations where water is found. So a couple of examples on this one. You got some shells, you got some driftwood, you got some coral. There's a little snow and ice for those in the southern hemisphere that might be feeling cooler temperatures than the rest of us up north, you know. So summer, winter,

Craig (21:47.698)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (21:53.65)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (21:57.138)
Mm.

Craig (22:01.606)
Ha ha ha.

Rob (22:06.912)
Water vibes going on with these.

Craig (22:09.966)
Mm-hmm. And the names themselves, Rob, I think they're pretty cool with the names itself. You got the surfer whittle, the hermit whittle, swimmer whittle, turtle whittle, hiker whittle, skater whittle, snowman whittle, and wabbit whittle. I try and say that. I f I feel like I've had a lisp then.

Rob (22:22.83)
The right, exactly. you and I always with the which way are these said? The Whittle comes before the name, so it's a Whittle webbit. And that's where the play the the vibe of you know, Whittle Turtle. There's a Whittle turtle out there now. I wonder if there's that one player out there in the world who's always asking.

Craig (22:32.274)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (22:36.838)
Whittle wabbit, whittle surfer, whittle hermit, whittle swimmer. yeah.

Rob (22:50.498)
Where's the turtle? And and she does sound exactly like that. Where's the turtle? Every single post that we make with any sort of baby animal and that kind of thing, where's the turtle? that's cute, but where's the turtle? That kind of thing? Guess what? Here's the turtle. You got the turtle whittle.

Craig (22:52.843)
I I know. Yeah. T trust me.

Craig (23:05.702)
Here's the turtle, the whittle turtle. And trust me, Rob, when I say she does sound like that too, because I hear it on a daily basis. So that's right. Yeah, she's right here, right in my household right now. She's a turtle lover. so there you go. So thank you very much for the Whittle Turtle. Now, these themselves, they are a trunk. They're it's the same way we've done it in series one and series two. But if you haven't been for series one or series two, very, very simple. You grab a whittle trunk itself.

Rob (23:12.782)
Right. There you go.

Rob (23:21.87)
Well, there you

Craig (23:35.203)
out will pop a random whittle whether it be the surfer, the hermit, the swimmer, etc. etc. in level one. You then grab another trunk, a whittle trunk, and it'll pop out either a another one or b if it pops out the same one, it gives you the level up. Now you can go up to level 10 for these as well. Once you reach level 10, you will not get any more of that particular whittle. So if I got 10 whittle surfers so far and then none of nothing else guess what? The next time I open one I'm not going to get a whittle surfer anymore.

I'll get a Whittle Hermit or Swim, etc. So that's the way these work. I think they work very well. I also at the same time, you do want to level these up. Once you get to a level 10 and that's bouncing around the world, they are a temporary bouncer as well. Once they they they go, you still have that in your inventory, a level 10 Whittle. What that means is you can then go to any wishing well and for 25 stars, that's right, not 75.

25 stars for level 10, you can then replenish that level 10 surfer, swimmer, turtle, whatever you like as well. So that's the way they work. The more you get of these, obviously, then the cheaper it actually becomes to resurface them later on down the track. So there you go, Rob. Yeah. Meanwhile, Rob.

Rob (24:48.43)
Absolutely. Yep. So these are available only in the N app store. And the the final piece about this, the series two trunk is going back into the vault on July first. We we know that those things come back from time to time, series one, series two, they will come back. However, they're going back in the vault, so if you still need to get anything on series two, now's your chance. They're going back on July first.

Craig (24:57.798)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

Mm.

Craig (25:14.022)
That's right. And so, as you said, Rob, only in app, not on the website, only and not in Freeze Tag store, only in app and only for Zeds. That's the way these work. But if you need extra Zeds, then obviously you can get the Zeds at different price levels, either in app or on the Freeze Tag store. Meanwhile, Rob, moving on, we you said at the beginning of the episode, Triple Tuesdays is still happening every single Tuesday. Triple points for greeting cards on Tuesdays, and at the same time, scatter Saturdays as well. So extra scatters from caps.

On Saturdays. Now Rob, that leads me. That leads me directly to the question of the week. This question I saw on the water cooler, I found it interesting. Now, some players they they get confused by these things, and that's okay because there's a lot to deal with when it comes to Munzie. So this is the question directly here for you, Rob, and that is I capped my Skyland and didn't get any scatters. So how how can that be, Rob?

Rob (26:09.12)
Well there's I suppose lots of different answers to that one and sounds like a very specific situation in this specific one. so w the details would be necessary for investigating this. There's Munsey support. I'm sure if this got asked in the water cooler, the the community jumped in, asked the necessary questions on behalf of Munsi Support. So thank you. Answered this question, took care of the

Craig (26:12.498)
Mm.

Craig (26:29.681)
Mm-hmm.

Rob (26:36.354)
the individual took care of anyone else who might have this type of question. but it it it does depend on the the number of bouncers there, the type of bouncers there, whether those scatter, blah blah blah. There's lots of different situations. So hopefully that either helps answer it or reminds people to to lean on the community, which is great. Ask your questions, get your answers. If you're new, it's a great place to do it.

Craig (26:40.359)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (26:48.348)
Mm-hmm.

Craig (27:01.91)
Exactly. But two things are number one, you said Rob, Skylands themselves don't scatter. The actual Skyland, if it's empty, it will not scatter. So no bounces in the Skylands equals no scatters. And at the same time, some bouncers don't actually have scatters either. So that's another good tip as well, Rob, is to check the Skylands first. So you you you click on the Skyland before you click, you know, the cap, then you click the details button and have a look at what's actually in there first.

If there's nothing in the skyline, Rob, you can obviously cap it as well, or you can use a magnet and get up to up to seven bounces in there, of which some of those will scatter, should scatter, hopefully, if you didn't get all jewel heads, for instance. All right, Rob, moving on, sorry.

Rob (27:40.44)
Chances are good, yeah.

Your chances are good of getting a scattering type, you know, with a magnet. Yeah.

Craig (27:45.137)
Yes, they are. They are. They are pretty good. They are pretty good. Meanwhile, Rob, moving on to the and ending on with the Munsie tip of the week, because we're getting late in the episode again. It's we let's let's blame Linda. Let's blame Linda. She spoke a lot. It is a busy week. This is true. Alright, Rob, moving on to the Munzy tip of the week and Sam, you're gonna love this tip, mate, and that is use cuppa Z to see when you can obtain your next gargoyle. Now

Rob (27:53.294)
Imagine that.

Rob (27:58.624)
And it's a busy, busy week. We've done a lot. Yeah. It's a busy month. Yeah.

Craig (28:14.342)
There's a button in the or there's a a viewing in the app, Rob, as well, if you haven't actually seen it, in the Cupers E app I'm talking about, whereby you can see the countdown timer to when you can purchase your next gargoyle because they're on a twenty eight day timer, these gargoyles. They're not on a you know a month by month. So it's not the first of every month. That's just a rough estimate. But they're on a twenty-eight day. Now there's a timer on there, Rob, to the split second as well. So there you go.

And don't forget as well, once you get your new gargoyles for the month, then give it a skin or the randomizer as well so you can get the extra points and they land on Skylands and tree houses. So there you go, Rob, that ends another official Munzie Podcast.
