Hey, welcome to Renewed Mindsets. I'm Rick, and I'm so glad you're here. Now, this is something special. For the next 25 days, we're gonna slow down, we're gonna quiet our hearts, and we're gonna turn our eyes towards Jesus as we walk through Advent together. Now every day we'll take a few minutes to breathe and reflect and remember the hope that came into the world and the hope that's coming again. Welcome back to Renewed Mindsets. We are in the middle or near the end of the Advent Bible reading. Today is December 21st. We're on day 21. We'll be in Philippians chapter 2, verses 5 through 11 with Lauren again.

All right. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges. He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
