Where is GOD in Recovery? There is no recovery without GOD. The part GOD plays in recovery is integral and absolutely necessary. Where GOD plays his part is unique and we must understand all the forces that are in play in our everyday lives. There are forces that play their part in opposition to GOD. These forces undermine our effort to recover. We must understand who and what we are in war with to fully understand how we win this fight to recover. The GOD of our understanding must be understood so that we know who we are calling upon for help. Ultimately we ask for help to assist us as we harm ourselves. This cry for help is admission that we cannot solve this problem on our own. We need help from a power greater than ourselves to save us from us. GOD knows what we know not.
