Show Notes

Kino alumna Laura Kruse returns to the show to discuss two Oscar-nominated films that represent the duality of life on Earth. My Octopus Teacher, winner of the Best Documentary award, is a beautifully-told story about one man's connection with the natural world. Ron Howard's Hillbilly Elegy on the other hand requires surgical intervention to ensure its toxin doesn't spread.

This is an episode about understanding the discourse and how J.D. Vance can serve as Mike Flynn's VP with this one weird trick.
