You know what it means to be conservative? I want to conserve. I want to conserve history that is real. I want to conserve the hundreds of years of human foresting that we can see one work and one. I want to conserve that Jesus Christ is God and not bow to those who demand that I'm not speaking in the presence. I want to conserve the free speech that God told me and that the founders stop. We find these proofs be so bad. Oh no, creating God by the creator with so many meaning of my life. I'm not supposed to like liberty in the pursuit of a happiness. Let me tell you something. At the time that they wrote those uh words, there was white European males, women couldn't vote. Black world citizens, nor could they vote. Nobody could vote against their prospects at that point. Nobody. These men have absolute power. If there was ever power to say, we find these truths to these have evidence that all white, European, straight, Christian, conservative men are created equal. Why was the time to do it? Um by the way, English. Man was not gender specific. It's a reference point for mankind, meaning everybody. That was their plan. They didn't. There is correspondence with every one of the founding fathers amongst themselves that stated, this slave thing ain't gonna work. We're gonna have to get rid of this. I don't know how. This nation is so fragile. I don't know if it's gonna survive, but we're gonna have to do it because this is not part of our creed. It doesn't fit and doesn't align with our creed. It took Christian, white European males like William Wilberforce in England to stop the slave trade. It took millions and millions of people's uh perspectives that had to be changed. Armies of uh and of and navies of Britain would stop ships that had slaves, and these white guys would die for this. Why'd they do that nonsense? And then here we come to America and we stopped it. Was it still Jim Crow? Was it still racism? Because America, like everybody else, is filled with sinners. 300,000 Africans came to this nation. Terrible tragedy. At the same time, 1.7 million went to Brazil. Anybody talking about Brazil? By the way, who's more immoral? Someone who buys a slave or someone who sells one? The reason I ask is because the black tribes that captured the black tribes and sold them to the white slave traders. Nobody's hands are clean.

I grew up in Ohio. I grew up in, you know, the Midwest, and you grew up here in Texas.

We couldn't be more despite someone trying to insult me at work.

That they called you insulting you by calling you an Ohioan? Yeah. That's a compliment. No, it isn't. What's wrong with you?

No. I'm a Texan.

Yes, ma'am. You you clearly, you obviously are a Texan. But but we grew up in these two completely different parts of the country. Um, I grew up grew up in the hood. I grew up in in black culture and immersed in it. And I grew up in the country hood. Yeah. And and so in and we've been married, we've known each other for 30 years about, and and have uh and have been married for for half that time. So how much racism have we run into traveling around where we go, we travel. Um none to our face. And we're like pretty deep in the south. I don't know, is this part like we're in southeast Texas? Yeah, we're as just north of Houston. So we're about as far south as you can go and still be in the States.

And we it just doesn't happen. We just don't run. And if it does, you know, and I'm I'm sure plenty of people have opinions, but who cares? Yeah, how does that impact us? So anyway, welcome to 139, folks. It's been a uh it's been an interesting week. And I just I was talking about this. I wanted to introduce, you know, kind of bring this into a a couple shows ago, but one of the things I really, really am excited about is the number of countries that that have been showing up on uh on our list of downloads. Uh Japan, Norway, Argentina, Spain, and Canada, the last five episodes. Canada, Spain, Argentina, Norway.

Right. I would love to know who's who's who's punching in in these places. Uh at the number of people that were here for the World Cup soccer and how many people and on social media love this country soccer. I know, I love that. Yeah, we're always that's just the thing. We're bashed internally by by the uh by the liberals who just want to destroy and demonize the country any way they can, right? And rewrite the history of the country, in fact. But to hear so many people come down, take pictures, especially especially people that came to Houston, who, you know, we we were one of the host cities and people were posting all kinds of social media. Yeah, it was nice.

It was nice to see the perspective of other people that enjoyed the country. Yeah, because I I mean we travel a lot and I I love visiting other countries and seeing other cultures and meeting new people. But I love my home, especially in Texas.

Yeah, Texas is something. I and and I must say, being in Ohio and after um living here twice, I lived here during during my radio career and then moved back. Um, you know, we moved back for uh for this part of our lives. And I just I this time I've just fallen in love with Texas. I think part of it is I lived in the city before when I was on radio. I lived, I always lived in, you know, in the in the city part of Houston. And to move out into the country where we are now, and I'll, you know, I've said it before, but I just I I've just really kind of I've grown quite fond of the of the two-lane highway.

Yeah, it is. I love the piece of it. I'm I'm fine. One of the main things is I'm finally learning how to how to work all my lawn equipment. And that sounds like the stupidest thing. I mean, this grown man is talking about I finally can work the lawnmower. It isn't, but it isn't like that. You know, I I bought you, and I've said it before, I I bought my first lawnmower here. And uh, you know, we just we just have an acre and a half of land, but to get out and have to cut this grass and work the, and I just went through a night, uh nightmare weed eater uh scenario. Who made this voodoo tool? I mean, it is it's it's so ridiculous.

I don't like those things either.

It's horrible. The freaking weed eater had me for three years. For am I am I lying? You're not lying. For three years, me and this weed eater have been going around and because it would get tangled.

You did fine with the edger part of it.

Yeah, but that but that still was making me nervous. And you know, I didn't use any of that stuff. I didn't I I just live mostly in apartments, so I never had an occasion to use a weed eater, especially not to own one. I finally got a uh a rapid loader head.

Who has been saying to get one of those for three years?

Oh no, it was Are you serious? You've been saying to get not a rapid loader, you see it.

Yes. Yes, that's exactly what I've been saying.

Well, anyway, I have one and it works beautifully. So I have that. So I'm not under stress anymore for for the weed eating portion of the whole thing.

So the lesson in this story is when your wife tells you you should do something, you should do it.

For three years. Every time the grass needs cutting, I just get anxious.

Yeah, because I'm grouchy.

Really? No, I don't I don't get grouchy.

Yeah, you get a little grouchy about it. Well, I mean, true. And it always ends with I'm calling a lawn service.

Well, well, listen, I no, I I decided I wanted to, I wanted to take care of the law myself. I wanted to fully engage in in being out in in the country like this. So a couple days ago, you you're on and off day, grass needs cutting, I get up early, you jump up, okay, you need some help.

And I'm like Yeah, because I love riding the zero turn.

So we go out together and and we so we we approach the zero turn, and it had been stuff been starting pretty flawlessly for me. I choke it a little and and it turned over, no problem. So you jump in the driver's seat this time and you you do the thing, you choke it, and and it won't start.

And I never have a problem starting.

And so z won't turn. So it won't start. So uh we got starter fluid. So took the back filter out, put some starter fluid in it, that you know, spray a little bit of that. Caught for a second, still wouldn't start. Um we we checked everything until finally I walked around to the gas tank and pulled, oh, it needs gas. It was so embarrassing. It was kind of stupid.

Yeah, price of cryptocurrency as we keep our eye on it week by week, uh 64.9. What was it last week? I don't think we mentioned on the uh on the show, but it's it's been hovering, kind of vacillating between 63 and 65. It went up 3,000 last week, and then it's been kind of retreating a little bit and then bouncing between 63 and 65 for about 10 days. So a lot is going on with crypto. And the reason we we don't give any advice any ad investment advice on this program. But follow our investment advice. But we just want to pull your coattail and let you know that something is happening. It's happening on Capitol Hill. Uh, the Democrats and the Republicans, both parties are working on legislation and kind of guardrails or guidelines for how cryptocurrency is going to be integrated into the existing economy. What we can do is recommend some reading. Uh, our good friend on the program, Kimberly Blakes. Last week we played chapter three of Revelation, and we are playing the Bible unedited, without commentary. We're not taking a theologian's approach to this and and giving you an explanation for what scripture says. Um instead, we're just playing it, and you pray. You know, it's not, and and I always, I guess I feel obligated somewhat to do a little bit of a disclaimer and say that that scripture, the Bible is a 2,000-year-old document that's important enough to the existence of the person of Jesus Christ, who the whole Bible really points to, the Old Testament and the New Testament, both point to Yeshua as Messiah, Savior, and Lord. And he's important enough to he split time. BC A D. Yes. The BC is before Christ. Christ is the dividing time. He is the the soul, the singular soul that walks the earth by which time is measured. And and they you I don't know if you know, within the last several years, they've changed it to the it's no longer just B C before Christ. It's before the common era. It's called the Common Era. So it's BCE now.

Anything to try to get rid of Jesus. But you can't but he's not going anywhere.

But it's still Jesus is still the dividing line. Okay, now before common era. Well, what was the before common era? Oh, yeah. Well, it's just Jesus is still the one that we based the common era on. So um, with that said, chapter four of Revelation is coming.

And so when I think about Joseph, Joseph had a ton of brothers, right? And they all hated him because he had favor of his father. Joseph was given dreams and he was the favorite of his father. Joseph forgave them and understood that it was not because of their hate that he ended up in prison. He ended up in prison because the hand of God was guiding him and leading him to where he should go. So when you think about other things, when you think about the president, the fact that he had been shot, he had been cheated, he had been slandered, all of that was because of the hand of God. Keep that in mind as you go through your day. Nothing is by accident, nothing is coincidence. God will use everything in your life to get you where you have to be. There is a book that has been written about you, and the Lord is not slacking his promises. I need you to be encouraged, Joseph, okay? Because there is one in every family that is sent and raised up to preserve that bloodline. So be encouraged as you go through your day, Joseph.
