00:02:55.920 the reason that I'm biased is because it
00:02:58.040 really is so life-changing so I'm
00:02:59.959 excited to shat about it with you before

00:03:04.440 just introduce yourself to the audience

00:03:10.519 Christie I am based in Central Florida
00:03:12.440 but I'm actually when we're recording
00:03:13.840 this I'm actually in Ecuador on a trip
00:03:15.360 with my partner Nick and our dog we love
00:03:17.720 to travel internationally and I'm super
00:03:20.120 grateful to have a business where it
00:03:21.799 allows me to do that so I run inogram
00:03:24.720 University basically I got certified as
00:03:26.720 an enag coach years ago I have my
00:03:28.360 Master's in mental health therapy and I
00:03:30.720 transitioned out of therapy into
00:03:32.120 coaching in 2018 absolutely fell in love
00:03:34.480 with it I love the time freedom I love
00:03:36.519 the scalability of Revenue I love
00:03:40.120 getting to do whatever I want make my
00:03:41.640 own hours work with like my dream
00:03:43.680 clients and all of that and it's just
00:03:45.879 kind of lighter and a little bit more
00:03:47.680 fun than therapy so a lot of people were
00:03:50.599 asking me like where do you get
00:03:52.000 certified how do you do this what you're
00:03:53.799 doing and truthfully I didn't have a
00:03:55.680 program that I 100% felt confident
00:03:57.680 recommending and so after a long time of
00:04:00.840 people asking me to create the a program
00:04:03.079 myself I wound up launching inam
00:04:04.799 University in Fall of 2020 and it's just
00:04:07.120 been a beautiful ride so I now train and
00:04:09.000 certify inogram coaches we have
00:04:10.920 therapists we have HR managers we have
00:04:12.840 people in leadership development people
00:04:15.200 who are looking for a second career into
00:04:17.358 something that's more meaningful so it's
00:04:19.120 just super fun is there a reason not or
00:04:22.960 are most of the folks that you're
00:04:24.000 training on
00:04:25.919 inag going to be an inag coach or are
00:04:29.479 they in other practice areas where this
00:04:31.880 is just a very helpful tool for them to
00:04:33.680 serve their clients yeah both actually
00:04:37.160 so some of them are like I do want to
00:04:38.680 see one-on-one clients or I want to do
00:04:40.320 couples coaching we have a lot of people
00:04:42.479 who love working with groups
00:04:44.160 organizations even Corporate America we
00:04:46.759 have some people who do this full-time
00:04:48.160 as a coach but a lot of people still
00:04:49.880 kind of just integrated in what they do
00:04:51.520 full-time we just had someone join from
00:04:54.039 a hotel company he's in leader yeah
00:04:58.320 leadership development so he's joining
00:05:00.000 doesn't plan on leaving his sign to five
00:05:01.680 I have someone who is on staff as a
00:05:04.400 consultant for other companies and so
00:05:06.240 she's does that fulltime they funnel
00:05:08.759 clients to her but she got certified as
00:05:10.639 a specialist with the anyam we have
00:05:12.479 other people who work in staff
00:05:13.680 development or HR departments and things
00:05:15.600 like that so managers a lot of times I I
00:05:18.199 usually tell people like if there's
00:05:19.560 people there the inogram is relevant so
00:05:22.160 if you are in any way managing people
00:05:25.600 even relating with people yourself it's
00:05:27.680 so helpful okay so can you give us an
00:05:29.960 overview of anagram and there's nine
00:05:33.440 types right what is what's the skinny on
00:05:36.840 the inag and then maybe the nine types
00:05:40.080 just like as a high level overview in
00:05:42.680 case people don't know yeah so the
00:05:44.800 inogram is personality typing tools so I
00:05:46.960 always tell people think in the realm
00:05:49.000 although different and I'll explain why
00:05:50.520 in a sec but in the realm of Myers brri
00:05:52.400 strength finders dis assessment things
00:05:54.319 like that it really is helping you
00:05:56.560 understand one of the differentiators
00:05:58.000 between it and all the other tools is is
00:05:59.720 helping you understand why you do what
00:06:01.479 you do so it's not Behavior observation
00:06:04.360 it's not sometimes you can behave like
00:06:06.720 this and sometimes you can react like
00:06:08.120 that it really is why do you show up the
00:06:09.840 way that you do so that makes it really
00:06:11.599 powerful for me and for the clients I
00:06:13.440 work with because I mean as you know
00:06:15.639 right we could sit in a room at a team
00:06:16.960 meeting and three people respond in a
00:06:19.720 similar way but why they're responding
00:06:21.319 that way can be completely different and
00:06:23.319 so being able to just understand what
00:06:25.599 actually motivates people what actually
00:06:27.199 helps them feel valued and important is
00:06:29.880 everything so it's just it's a deeper
00:06:31.919 system it's more um I was going to say
00:06:34.960 more Humane like sometimes when I'm
00:06:36.599 talking with people who work incorporate
00:06:38.120 I'm like yeah the inam humanizes
00:06:40.800 employes rather than like productive
00:06:43.319 machines it's who are you really and
00:06:45.080 what matters to you and how can I
00:06:46.280 support you specifically so yeah there's
00:06:48.400 nine inogram types I'll share with you I
00:06:50.160 did take a quick quiz this morning to
00:06:52.800 see it's been a few years since I've
00:06:54.639 done one so I wanted to see how it's
00:06:56.440 changed because that's another
00:06:57.479 interesting thing in my perspective is
00:06:59.240 like depending on where you are in your
00:07:02.160 life your maturity your frame of
00:07:03.879 reference your experiences I feel like
00:07:05.960 it changes over the course of years or
00:07:08.919 lifetime I don't know maybe it doesn't
00:07:10.440 but for me it feels like it has so I
00:07:13.120 want to hear all about that yeah what
00:07:14.520 are the nine so I'm actually I love
00:07:17.680 having this conversation because in the
00:07:19.120 inogram they we believe that your type
00:07:21.319 doesn't change the way that you express
00:07:23.720 yourself and the way that you hopefully
00:07:26.160 react to yourself or you know hopefully
00:07:27.879 that evolve is evolves or matures over
00:07:30.240 time but what drives you often doesn't
00:07:32.400 and so for me as a trained as a
00:07:33.879 therapist like that's even grounded in
00:07:35.919 our personality structures really formed
00:07:37.720 when we're young and so we kind of carry
00:07:39.520 that with us so over time it's helpful
00:07:41.520 to be like okay this was serving me when
00:07:43.919 I was like eight it's probably not
00:07:45.680 serving me anymore so how do I kind of
00:07:47.879 evolve that so yeah there are nine types
00:07:50.720 and definitely I'll give the little kind
00:07:52.479 of nicknames but I always tell people
00:07:54.159 and when I teach in in G University I
00:07:55.840 actually don't use the names at all
00:07:57.319 because I think it's impossible to fully
00:08:00.440 understand a person's personality or
00:08:02.800 what wires them based on two little
00:08:04.879 names two words are like little
00:08:06.360 nicknames so I always just say if you
00:08:09.120 don't know your type yet don't get super
00:08:10.840 fixated on the nicknames because there
00:08:12.599 really is so much more so type one we
00:08:15.240 call the moral perfectionist they're
00:08:17.000 really driven by being right doing the
00:08:19.639 good thing being ethical being moral
00:08:21.720 things like that they really want to
00:08:23.080 avoid corruption within themselves being
00:08:26.400 bad they have a really harsh inner
00:08:28.159 critic type two we call the supportive
00:08:30.560 helper so basically these are people who
00:08:32.679 deeply love people they want to be your
00:08:35.120 helpers your main support but really for
00:08:37.000 them what drives it is they want to feel
00:08:38.599 wanted and sometimes needed by the
00:08:41.159 people in their lives so it's really how
00:08:43.839 can I show up well for you but it also
00:08:45.839 helps me know that our relationship is
00:08:47.959 secure and that you need or want me so
00:08:51.800 they try to avoid basically being
00:08:53.760 unloved not needed feeling replaceable
00:08:56.080 is a really painful feeling for type
00:08:57.800 twos type threes we call those
00:09:00.079 successful Achievers so these are people
00:09:02.000 who love to grind they have high
00:09:05.360 likelihood of being hardcore in the work
00:09:07.600 world where they just you know work
00:09:09.320 constantly or sometimes Workaholics
00:09:11.640 these are types that really want to
00:09:14.040 succeed be valuable be admired by other
00:09:16.720 people so they're really avoiding the
00:09:18.320 sense of feeling worthless or losing or
00:09:21.360 failing so that's kind of that that
00:09:23.880 tension for them those drivers for type
00:09:26.720 fours we call them the Romantic
00:09:28.880 individual list so these types are
00:09:31.040 really uh geared towards standing out
00:09:33.959 there's this weird tension for four
00:09:35.519 sometimes of like I don't want to blend
00:09:37.120 in I really want to be unique that's
00:09:38.760 really important to me but also if I'm
00:09:40.600 so unique then other people may not
00:09:42.079 relate with me so there's that tension
00:09:43.839 sometimes of not wanting to belong not
00:09:45.680 wanting to be part of the masses but
00:09:47.440 also wanting to so that they're not
00:09:50.279 abandoned
00:09:52.000 essentially type fives we call the
00:09:54.279 investigative thinker so these types are
00:09:56.399 really focused on how do I ensure that
00:09:59.440 I'm competent and I have what it takes
00:10:01.079 to meet life's demands essentially so
00:10:03.600 competency and capability are really
00:10:06.160 fixations for the type five they're
00:10:07.880 definitely avoiding things that um make
00:10:10.000 them feel invaded in any way these F
00:10:12.320 Type fives tend to be really private
00:10:14.440 people fairly boundaried people they
00:10:17.480 don't typically get recognized for being
00:10:19.680 very emotive or emotional they
00:10:21.519 definitely have them but they hold their
00:10:23.000 cards close to their chest typically so
00:10:25.760 type sixes this is the type that I
00:10:27.600 identify with most we are called called
00:10:29.519 the loyal Guardians essentially we don't
00:10:32.320 want to be on our own or left alone in
00:10:34.800 the world so for us it's really about
00:10:36.720 finding support relationships are really
00:10:38.959 critical for type sixes because we
00:10:40.720 depend so much on other people but we
00:10:42.600 also want them to be able to depend on
00:10:44.519 us we really want the feelings of Safety
00:10:47.480 and Security whether that's in our job
00:10:50.160 in our relationships at home wherever
00:10:52.839 that may be type sevens we call the
00:10:55.279 enthusiastic optimist so these people
00:10:57.760 are traditionally really high energy
00:11:00.079 they love positivity uh they don't want
00:11:02.800 to miss out on things there's a sense of
00:11:05.040 like I don't want to be bored limited
00:11:06.920 boxed in uh these types T have like
00:11:09.399 killer fomo so they're kind of
00:11:11.480 constantly pursuing being fulfilled and
00:11:14.639 content and um oftentimes doing fun
00:11:17.399 things to keep them stimulated type
00:11:19.560 eight we call the protective Challengers
00:11:21.760 so these are people who kind of like
00:11:24.000 sixes sixes T to be Skeptics eights are
00:11:26.120 kind of just like the rest of the world
00:11:27.800 is completely untrustworthy and so it
00:11:29.959 creates this tendency to like I need to
00:11:31.959 be strong and assertive and independent
00:11:33.800 I can't really rely on people because
00:11:35.200 people might betray me they tend to be
00:11:37.120 really forceful generally speaking
00:11:39.800 people can experience them as
00:11:41.160 intimidating but for them they're just
00:11:42.720 protecting themselves type nines these
00:11:45.959 types are known for being really
00:11:47.760 laid-back and calm and light-hearted
00:11:50.200 really for them what it is is I just
00:11:51.800 want to keep the peace so I don't really
00:11:54.000 want to ruffle feathers I don't really
00:11:55.959 want to make any waves I'm comfortable
00:11:58.040 in Conflict I just want things to be
00:12:00.120 peaceful and tranquil and relaxed so
00:12:04.519 that is a super overview of all that
00:12:07.240 there's so much more to be said but for
00:12:09.040 anybody that's brand new hopefully that
00:12:10.600 helps give you a little bit of an idea
00:12:12.720 and then how do you once once someone
00:12:15.199 knows their inogram chart and is working
00:12:18.519 with you how do you work with them yeah
00:12:21.639 such a good question I saw this meme
00:12:23.760 recently that really capsulated like
00:12:25.440 what therapy is and sometimes what
00:12:27.040 inogram coaching is and it said me
00:12:29.360 before therapy I hate people me after
00:12:31.519 therapy I feel okay about hating
00:12:35.000 people so in a lot of ways that in work
00:12:38.720 is what's natural for you and what are
00:12:41.839 probably going to continue to be issues
00:12:43.680 in your life what are the patterns that
00:12:45.160 are likely to come up again whether it's
00:12:46.880 relationally I feel like I'm never
00:12:48.360 enough for my partner or it's I hustle
00:12:51.320 really hard so that my boss is proud of
00:12:52.959 me like what are those things that kind
00:12:54.680 of Drive behind the surface of the way
00:12:56.880 that you think feel and act in the world
00:12:59.680 so having this Insight is Illuminating a
00:13:02.240 lot of that and then are a lot of the
00:13:04.519 work is saying okay how did that serve
00:13:06.639 me at one point is this what I want to
00:13:08.639 continue doing so there's a famous
00:13:10.279 Ingram teacher who says the Ingram
00:13:12.199 doesn't put you in a box it shows you
00:13:13.800 the box that you're in and then how to
00:13:15.680 get out of it so oh love that because
00:13:19.760 love that yes like I do love a
00:13:22.160 personality quiz yes tell me what color
00:13:23.839 craye I am or what kind of cheese I am
00:13:26.360 like what do I do with that you know and
00:13:29.360 and how does that then liveit me so yeah
00:13:31.360 the INR is really wired to be expansive
00:13:33.320 and to invite you to consider this is
00:13:35.240 probably going to keep coming up for you
00:13:36.360 in your life and do you want this result
00:13:38.519 how's it work for you in the past or do
00:13:40.240 you want to shift the other thing I love
00:13:42.120 about the neogram is if you look at the
00:13:43.920 system it's got these lines that
00:13:45.800 connects a bunch of numbers one number
00:13:48.000 that we like move towards our look like
00:13:49.880 when we're growing and healthy and
00:13:51.199 there's another number that we move
00:13:52.440 towards our look like when we're in
00:13:53.720 stress so that Insight is super powerful
00:13:57.440 because most of us in our stress space
00:14:00.120 or at least are very familiar with that
00:14:02.240 but growth takes intentionality to move
00:14:04.720 forward and so having that language it
00:14:06.800 gives you Red Flags like oh wow okay I'm
00:14:10.079 actually not in a healthy place and I'm
00:14:11.560 watching myself get more stressed out
00:14:13.560 and look like this other type that I'm
00:14:15.519 not so how do I then lean towards and
00:14:18.079 grow towards this other part of me that
00:14:19.759 can actually be really grounding and
00:14:21.079 healthy and important for me you've
00:14:23.399 mentioned mental health a few times so
00:14:25.720 what is the correlation here with mental
00:14:28.320 health is it when you can understand
00:14:31.600 yourself and why you are the way you are
00:14:34.320 do the things you do there's like
00:14:37.360 self-acceptance that happens or what is
00:14:40.360 the correlation there with mental health
00:14:42.320 from your perspective yeah yeah so it's
00:14:45.680 because it's my background too right so
00:14:47.320 that drives how I engage with inogram
00:14:49.759 and it's also what made me fall in love
00:14:50.959 with inogram I started integrating it
00:14:52.480 with clients in therapy and I was like
00:14:54.160 holy this is literally changing
00:14:56.320 their life after it had changed mine too
00:14:58.600 right so was just really cool so
00:15:00.399 basically it brings self- Insight it's
00:15:04.000 who am I what drives me why do I keep
00:15:06.560 acting in this way and then the
00:15:09.120 correlation with mental health is how do
00:15:10.759 I if we're getting really therapy
00:15:12.680 there's like inner child work a lot to
00:15:14.240 be done with anyam so when I look back
00:15:16.680 at myself right as a type six anxiety is
00:15:18.560 a huge thread for the type six and it is
00:15:20.519 for a lot of us a lot of our types of
00:15:22.279 anxiety it's just what drives that
00:15:24.680 anxiety or why is it there when does it
00:15:26.360 show up but for the type six we tend to
00:15:28.199 be the most anxious unfortunately for
00:15:30.040 myself and the rest of us but when I
00:15:32.440 look back when I was super young my
00:15:33.959 anxiety literally kept me safe A lot it
00:15:36.240 helped me be aware of my surroundings
00:15:38.160 when I was a kid it helped me assess was
00:15:40.440 I safe in this environment is it safe to
00:15:42.399 say what I want do what I want act like
00:15:44.199 what I want how do I engage with my
00:15:46.199 parents how do I engage with my brother
00:15:47.839 so a lot of it is looking back making
00:15:50.079 connections of why we are the way that
00:15:51.560 we are and then the mental health piece
00:15:53.880 is even healing some of that like I'm
00:15:55.959 not me anymore I'm not in my childhood
00:15:58.519 home anymore I don't need to be as
00:16:00.560 hypervigilant now as I was then because
00:16:03.319 I've built a life that's really
00:16:04.639 different and so some of it is going
00:16:06.600 back to those younger parts of ourselves
00:16:08.440 even in our young 20s the way that we
00:16:10.040 acted sometimes it's like whoa if we can
00:16:12.839 go back and be like okay our life is
00:16:14.560 really different now it doesn't require
00:16:16.959 us to show up in the same sort of
00:16:19.319 hypervigilant defensive State we can
00:16:22.199 heal some of those messages so with the
00:16:23.680 anagram all of the types have a wounding
00:16:25.920 childhood message so for me the type six
00:16:29.079 is the world isn't safe and I may or may
00:16:31.880 not have the resources to navigate it
00:16:33.839 like that's terrifying for me I'm like
00:16:35.120 oh my God I really might just get like
00:16:38.839 succumb to the pressure sort of thing so
00:16:41.240 for me it's okay how do I explore that
00:16:43.560 how am I believing that how is that
00:16:44.920 driving the decisions I make now and can
00:16:48.519 I come back to that anxious part of
00:16:50.319 myself like a little kid and hold her
00:16:52.240 and say thanks for letting me know
00:16:54.319 thanks for telling me to be
00:16:55.319 hypervigilant we're actually safe so you
00:16:58.079 can take a nap
00:16:59.440 and I'm gonna go ahead and make a
00:17:00.759 different decision because it's okay
00:17:03.839 so yeah it is it's really powerful I'm
00:17:07.119 curious if if you would share a little
00:17:08.880 bit about your type and then we could
00:17:10.319 even talk about that one too okay so I
00:17:13.599 have always I don't know if this is
00:17:15.520 typical or not but my struggle with
00:17:18.119 these types of quizzes is that I feel
00:17:21.000 like there's always like three to four
00:17:22.880 leading ones that are all equal parts
00:17:25.439 and I don't have a leading part um which
00:17:29.720 which is that feels authentic to me but
00:17:32.760 okay so my strongest boxes are one and
00:17:36.320 three and then the second largest are 2
00:17:40.200 and eight followed by seven and then
00:17:43.120 everything else is rather small there's
00:17:45.280 like a decent slice of five but nine six
00:17:49.240 and four are very very tiny on mine okay
00:17:52.600 yeah so I love this conversation I love
00:17:54.919 that the test wasn't super crystal clear
00:17:56.679 for you because traditionally in our our
00:17:59.039 industry tests are about like 60%
00:18:01.400 average that's from my data and just
00:18:03.159 kind of agreed upon in the world because
00:18:05.600 there's no possible way for a test to
00:18:08.120 completely assess your deep core
00:18:09.880 emotions or driving you you know so I
00:18:13.159 kind of do love when tests are unclear
00:18:14.840 because I'm like yes that's the point
00:18:16.520 right self-awareness is the point those

00:19:55.240 self-preservation three often looks a
00:19:57.840 lot like the one
00:19:59.400 so usually if I have somebody who just
00:20:01.280 high in both of those I look into that
00:20:04.360 so I would be curious with the type
00:20:05.960 three I mean the core drivers are
00:20:08.600 success achievement being respected
00:20:12.080 admired things like that whereas the
00:20:14.000 core desires of the type one are being
00:20:16.120 good being right being pure sometimes
00:20:18.640 the self-preservation three wants the
00:20:21.679 core motivations of the type one but
00:20:23.919 they're actually driven but the core
00:20:25.799 motivations of the three where maybe the
00:20:27.440 other parts of the three feel a little
00:20:29.039 vain or weird to them and they don't
00:20:30.840 want them to be the case but they kind
00:20:32.720 of are
00:20:34.679 so I think I'm the opposite I think I
00:20:37.919 think I'm the opposite like when I think
00:20:40.200 about my drivers I do care about like
00:20:43.679 success and making myself proud it's
00:20:46.520 really not much about making others

00:21:44.600 were in a room by yourself and there was

00:21:59.240 definitely more oneish whereas threes

00:22:05.640 misunderstanding threes want to be

00:22:15.039 evolve evolvement work sometimes I would

00:22:27.039 for all of us it's like oh that's kind

00:22:30.720 me but if I'm honest yeah so that does

00:22:38.320 inogram where it's called Wings which
00:22:41.159 means essentially the two numbers right

00:22:48.760 one then that two showing up could be
00:22:51.159 that as well yeah I was just going to

00:23:52.559 have like they're in what we call the
00:23:53.960 gut Center and so it's like there is

00:26:00.880 time block and I'm going to work for
00:26:02.440 this many hours and afterward I'm going
00:26:03.880 to reward myself with this fun thing
00:26:05.840 it's either I'm going to go get ice
00:26:07.000 cream or I'm going to call a friend or
00:26:09.200 I'm going to go to their office and
00:26:10.320 chitchat for a minute and then come back
00:26:12.200 that can be solid for them type one
00:26:14.279 traditionally love a to-do list threes
00:26:16.279 do as well sometimes sixes do as well I
00:26:18.799 saw something recently that was like
00:26:20.520 anybody else complete tasks but then

00:27:32.760 means that's my ego structure showing up
00:27:35.120 again I can move forward despite it
00:27:38.000 that's really cool so when somebody I I
00:27:41.440 feel like a lot of our listeners
00:27:42.720 probably are in people leadership
00:27:45.720 positions they manage people or they
00:27:47.279 have a team or they have a business that
00:27:48.679 had just innately has employees or
00:27:50.279 contractors or whatever and I mean I
00:27:54.120 have certainly been asked early in my
00:27:56.440 career to take anyag gr test that would
00:27:58.440 then be given to my bosses at the time
00:28:01.720 and I can see why now because it is a
00:28:04.120 very helpful tool to understanding
00:28:05.720 somebody but if you're in a people
00:28:07.840 leadership position what is the right
00:28:12.279 way to use this information because when
00:28:14.760 you know somebody's ego Center like you
00:28:18.000 said or ego structure rather you know
00:28:20.679 their inner voice in some ways and you
00:28:23.240 know a quiz isn't going to tell you
00:28:24.480 everything like you said but
00:28:25.679 directionally it seems like it could be
00:28:27.279 helpful um and I get why bosses might
00:28:29.679 want you to take it what is the right
00:28:31.880 way to use this type of information if
00:28:33.480 you're in a people leadership position
00:28:34.960 and not abuse the knowledge because it
00:28:37.000 seems like that could happen maybe
00:28:39.559 totally so there's a rule in anyr of we
00:28:42.000 don't type other people so even when I'm
00:28:43.760 in typing sessions with people I'm like
00:28:46.080 this is what I'm thinking this is what
00:28:47.360 I'm feeling but I need you to sit with
00:28:48.960 this how does this feel for you right so
00:28:51.279 that's kind of a rule where it's tight
00:28:53.360 people and part of that is because it is
00:28:55.159 really exposing and it can be very
00:28:56.840 vulnerable and there are some who have
00:28:59.120 not earned the right or have created an
00:29:01.120 environment of safety to have this deep
00:29:02.799 knowledge of us and so that's super
00:29:05.600 valid I actually I had someone recently
00:29:07.279 reach out and they were interested inam
00:29:08.760 University and she was basically like we
00:29:10.840 want to use this in our hiring and
00:29:12.120 firing process and I'm like oh that is
00:29:15.159 not an ethical use of this tool no um so
00:29:18.720 referred her to something else that I
00:29:20.480 think may be more up her alley but that
00:29:22.080 was hard for me anyway so yeah the power
00:29:24.320 of this is huge especially for managers
00:29:26.880 for example if I have a tight three on
00:29:28.960 my team traditionally again that
00:29:30.679 affirmation of them is gigantic if I
00:29:33.200 have a type five traditionally fives
00:29:35.360 hate being micromanaged same with type
00:29:37.440 nines so giving them space if I have a
00:29:41.080 type four on my team allowing them the
00:29:43.320 creative freedom to be themselves and to
00:29:45.640 bring their unique Identity or beliefs
00:29:47.240 or whatever into this space is really
00:29:49.000 important the ethical use of this is
00:29:51.559 inviting deeper awareness it is saying
00:29:55.000 hey I'm remembering that you're a type
00:29:58.440 eight and you feel this way or you're
00:30:01.720 more likely to have this reaction or
00:30:04.320 this might be really important to you is
00:30:06.799 there a way that I can show up well for
00:30:08.559 you in that way um it can also you know
00:30:11.840 we say like never weaponize the any this
00:30:14.240 like a really sacred tool um an intimate
00:30:16.880 and so saying like is it appropriate for
00:30:19.159 me to bring this up in our review
00:30:21.000 sessions or is it appropriate for me to
00:30:23.679 because I know feeling valued is
00:30:25.679 important to you to specifically give
00:30:27.159 you words of affirm
00:30:28.640 for type ones it's traditionally every
00:30:30.919 type has a way that they looked in
00:30:32.360 childhood right so type one sometimes
00:30:34.200 it's like I'm the good girl or I'm the
00:30:35.559 good boy I'm the good child and so for

00:30:39.240 brilliant job and I value and appreciate
00:30:41.399 you is huge for a type one it's also
00:30:44.399 really important for type ones and type
00:30:46.679 3es especially and twos honestly to say
00:30:49.720 I value you even if this project isn't
00:30:52.919 perfect even if you don't work overtime
00:30:56.200 10 hours even if m whatever so learning
00:31:00.880 what drives the people you supervise is
00:31:05.080 huge and if there is that safety in your
00:31:07.519 team to have these conversations it
00:31:09.080 really does change the game when I
00:31:10.960 worked in my last job before I left my
00:31:13.120 boss was the type three I'm a type six I

00:31:37.120 the right seats doing the right jobs

00:33:08.559 have like you know thought into this and
00:33:10.399 it's actually trash but even in that
00:33:12.840 self-doubt I'm like okay how many people
00:33:15.240 continue to give incredible testimonials
00:33:17.159 or they have successful coaching
00:33:18.559 businesses now they tell me I changed
00:33:19.960 their life and I'm like oh my God that's
00:33:22.039 overwhelming and makes me anxious a
00:33:24.120 little the responsibility of that but
00:33:26.880 it's also been really beautiful so I
00:33:28.919 honestly think my whole journey from at
00:33:31.240 the very beginning was other people kind
00:33:33.240 of coaching me through that process and
00:33:35.480 saying I believe in you though no you

00:34:47.280 had like 15 students sign up immediately
00:34:50.159 and I was like oh my gosh I think this
00:34:52.399 could be something and then I've just
00:34:54.199 continued to like take steps forward and

00:37:43.359 your life where it was a big moment it
