SPEAKER_00:It's more than just saying, Jesus, forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. That relationship with the Lord is that we follow on to know the Lord. And all that God has for us. God has for us his precious Holy Spirit. He has the gifts of the Spirit. We not only live in the Spirit, but we also walk in the Spirit. There's times that when we feel alone, we feel like we don't know where to turn. And we'll find the Lord's always there. One of the great things that has been a great source of comfort to me over my walk with the Lord is to know that I'm not alone, that He's been there with me. I remember I was up in the interior of Bangladesh a number of years ago. And I was just walking through the village and I was confronted by three or four men. And they said, Why are you here? What's your purpose? And I just looked at him and I just turned and kept right on walking. I didn't have to answer to him. If he wants to know who I am, he go find out some other way. The reason I was bringing that up is that sometimes we'll come under attack and we can feel so alone. We can feel like, am I going to be safe? The word of the Lord is, I'll never leave you nor forsake you. And that has been a strength and a comfort to me. Not just when I'm feeling overwhelmed. It's nice to know that he's with me all the time, every day. I would think every believer would like to know how I can have a spiritual encounter. How can I know what it is to be able to sense the Lord? Act as if the spiritual dimension, the spiritual realm really exists. It's the same way as acting as if you're saved. You don't just say, I am saved. You act like you're saved. It's the same way when you're filled with the Holy Ghost. You act like you're filled with the Holy Ghost. And you'd be amazed how that will bring you into a place of confidence and understanding. And we break away from all the current philosophy and all the adversity and negative words that we hear around about us. Our world is in a very fragile state. The Bible talks about to be on alert. It talks about in the last days there's going to be a great shakening to such an extent that the very elect, even when they're challenged, but they shall stand. I value the relationship that I have with the Lord. And I value those times that I have enough understanding. I'm able to grasp with inside of me when I feel attacks or I feel alone. Then I'm able to say, I know where I'm going to go. I know what I'm going to do. And I look to the Lord to make the way for me where there is no way. Peter 5.8, that the devil goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The enemy will come to you and try to rob from you every position, every level, every mountaintop that you have gained, all of your spiritual attainments that you have, the enemy will come to you and try to tear those down when you stand so confident in the Lord. And when he goes to try to devour, he would take a look at me or take a look at you, and he'll say, No way will I be able to devour them. That's strong. And that's where we are to be today. There is a passage out of Acts 26 where Paul was hearing the word of the Lord, and the word of the Lord says, I've appeared unto you for this purpose. Your life has a purpose. It's good. You can get up every day and think, what do I have today? One of the first things is, my life has purpose. In 1 Corinthians chapter 16, verse 13. Watch ye stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong, and let all your things be done with charity or love. Such a simple statement. Be on alert. I want you to consider this. I want you to be on alert for spiritual things that are happening round about you. I want you to be on alert to see what God is doing. Your life and your ministry is now going to make an impact. And everything inside of you should now just be you're on alert. These people need what I've got. Thank you, Lord, for bringing me here. I know why I'm here today. I know why I'm talking to these people today. Be alert spiritually. Don't live the kind of Christian life where you feel every day you're struggling. You feel like everything's against you. But I got good news today. The Lord is for us. Who can be against us?
