That's a good question, monkey. The stars are farther away than we can even imagine. Our moon is very close. People have even traveled to the moon. But the stars are much, much, much further away, way too far to travel to, and that's why they look so small. If they were closer, they would look much bigger. Some stars are even bigger than our own sun. How could anything be bigger than the sun? Well, our sun is a star, and it's a medium-sized star. Some stars are a lot bigger.
