Artistocracy
In Spring 2023, I stumbled upon a thought-provoking Atlantic article by writer William Deresiewicz titled “The Death of the Artist-And the Birth of the Creative Entrepreneur.” In this article, the transformation of the romantic artist into the modern creative entrepreneur is explored, heralding a new era for creative minds in the digital age. Inspired by this idea, I embarked on a journey to delve deeper into this transition and decided that a podcast would be the perfect medium for this exploration.
