I’m your host Mary Street. I’m a survivor of childhood abuse, physical and emotional trauma and ministry burnout. God in His love and kindness walked me through my own journey of healing, restoration and powerful growth.
Now, through life coaching, counseling and more, I lead countless people into breakthrough where they find lasting freedom and have great growth. I’ve been in ministry for 21+ years and for 16 of those years was a Missionary in Tanzania Africa. While serving in various leadership roles, I have seen the good the bad, the ugly both in the church and out.
I’m passionate about helping people find freedom, find their voice and seeing the next generation rise up in mental and emotional health and become all God created them to be.

Episode 17 - Navigating Disappointment
How do you navigate disappointment and what do you do when you are disappointed? Do you blame yourself or others? Do you throw out the truth that God is still good? Do you wallow in self pity? Many times we do, because God doesn’t show up on our timeline. The disappointed heart will always judge God by what He didn’t do for us because more often than not, our eyes are on self.
I know it hurts at times. I'm no stranger to pain. I also know how important it is to get our eyes off of self and learn to navigate disappointment with God, it flips the switch on everything. Come with me on a journey in this Episode where you will learn how to healthily navigate disappointment in your life as a powerful person.
