SERMON TITLE: THE TABERNACLE PRAYER
Exodus 25:8-9 - 8 “They are to make a sanctuary for me so that I may dwell among them. 9 You must make it according to all that I show you — the pattern of the tabernacle as well as the pattern of all its furnishings.

1. THE OUTER COURTS: THANKS AND PRAISE

Psalm 100:4 - 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name.
Psalm 103:1-5 - 1 My soul, bless the Lord, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 My soul, bless the Lord, and do not forget all his benefits. 3 He forgives all your iniquity; he heals all your diseases. 4 He redeems your life from the Pit; he crowns you with faithful love and compassion. 5 He satisfies you with good things; your youth is renewed like the eagle.
2. BRAZEN ALTAR: FOCUS ON THE CROSS
Hebrews 9:22 - 22 According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Isaiah 53:5 - 5 But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.
3. THE LAVER: OFFER EVERY PART OF YOUR LIFE TO GOD
Romans 12:1 - 1 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge yoU to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.
4. THE CANDLESTICK: INVITE THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Zechariah 4:6 - 6 So he answered me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by strength nor by might, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord of Armies
Isaiah 11:2 - 2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, a Spirit of counsel and strength, a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
5. THE TABLE OF SHEWBREAD: OPEN GOD’S WORD AND CONSUME IT
Matthew 4:4 - 4 He answered, “It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
Ephesians 6:17 - 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit — which is the word of God.

7. THE ARK OF THE COVENANT: INTERCEDE FOR OTHERS
1 Timothy 2:1-2 - 1 First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, 2 for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
