Larry Guthrie

He is a former Indian State University professor who was instrumental in my life as a mentor, specifically in presenting messages with a mentor, always including the tool of object lessons. I served under him briefly in an organization called Character First! Education, which taught essential character traits through fun elementary assemblies and classroom activities. His work involved mentoring in science, medicine, and history to utilize God's Word and creation to learn of our Creator. His training has spread worldwide, and today, his ministry continues through his daughter and son-in-law on their Wisconsin farm, Harvest Home Farm. He and his wife, Lois, have been married for over 40 years; they have two married children and seven grandchildren.
