Two Peacocks Travel Podcast
Two Peacocks Travel was founded by best friends and passionate globetrotters Ana Gaona and Sandy Correa, who share a deep love for adventure and cultural exploration. After retiring from Civil Service with the Los Angeles Department of Health, these travel besties decided to travel the world together. Along the way, they realized how many women felt hesitant or uncertain about traveling solo or stepping outside their comfort zones. Determined to change that, Ana and Sandy created Two Peacocks Travel with the mission to empower women to explore the world confidently, by offering curated, supportive, and enriching group travel experiences. Their goal is to break down barriers, foster connection, and inspire women to embrace adventure—whether they’re seasoned travelers or taking their very first trip abroad. Through thoughtful planning, personal touches, and a vibrant community, Ana and Sandy strive to make every journey transformative, fun, and unforgettable.

Episode 33: Grief Unfiltered: Letting Go of Who We Were (Part 2)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Last week, we opened the door to a conversation that so many women quietly carry but rarely talk about out loud… grief.
In Part 1, Dr. Mona Raed shared her insight on navigating loss in all forms, from losing loved ones to losing relationships, identity, health, and the life we thought we were supposed to have.
Today, in Part 2 of this special series, we continue that conversation and go even deeper. We talk about healing, giving ourselves permission to grieve differently, and what it really looks like to move forward while still honoring what was lost.
Dr. Mona brings both professional insight and personal experience to this conversation in a way that feels compassionate, honest, and deeply human.
It’s hard to believe this all started from a chance meeting at the Morocco airport, but sometimes the people we’re meant to meet find us exactly when they’re supposed to.
If Part 1 resonated with you, this episode will too.
Let’s get into Part 2 with Dr. Mona Raed.
