Seth Kearsley
With over three decades of experience in animation, it’s not uncommon now for Seth Kearsley to hear, “You directed my childhood!” Seth Kearsley has worked on a wide variety of shows and styles because, early on, he felt that over-specializing could breed weakness. He worked on a variety of projects in adult animation, feature animation, and children’s animation. Seth never wanted to specialize in just one thing. He has done a lot of comedy, so people usually associate him with it — but both his animation and directing careers actually started with action shows. There are things Seth loves about both of them. He'd say his strongest suits are acting, action, and staging.
Seth is also working on his own projects, hoping for his Miyazaki moment, where he gets to spend the rest of his career creating his own worlds. "I don’t ever really plan on retiring from animation or art."
