We're gonna talk about the essential five tips for American entrepreneurs and Canadians as well. We don't wanna leave you guys out. Uh, that are looking at moving abroad, the essential tips that you need to actually make that move, get off your ass, really make it happen because today is the day and guys, it's not getting any easier either. So if you're serious about this, you want to take action and do it. Now. I know you've been thinking about moving abroad. You're wondering, Hey, is this scary? What's gonna happen? Like we're gonna help you overcome all of those things in this video. Today, I'm Justin, and on this channel entrepreneur, expat. We talk about everything to do with moving abroad, living in another country, and setting up a location, independent business, income, lifestyle, everything else, so that you can live the life of your dreams in a country that maybe isn't the one that you're from. So tip number one is you do not need to wait until life is perfect. People think, you know, I have to be ready. I have to pay all my, all my taxes and my bills and this and that. I have to get my entire life in America. Somehow wrapped up with a nice. Bow tie before I leave. And that's just, it's a myth. Like it's impossible to actually do, uh, yes. You know, you, you might want to prepare a few things and make sure you're not just half-assing the move. Sure. But things are never gonna get perfect. No time is ever going to feel right. We have people reaching out to us every single day that missed opportunities. Like the Golden Visa program in Portugal where they could get a Portuguese visa through real estate investment. They missed that. They said, okay, what can we do? We, we don't wanna make that same mistake again, and now they're coming to Mexico. There's a lot of people who missed out on even immigrating to Mexico when it was easier when you could literally just have an expired tourist visa and come here and, and pay a, you know, few hundred dollars to a lawyer and like a thousand dollars of fees roughly. You get a, a residence visa that you can then turn into permanent, that then could become a passport here without having to qualify through income or anything else. They miss that opportunity. Every single client that we work with says one thing, which is, I wish I did it sooner. So do not hesitate. You do not need to wait until life is perfect. Let's say for an investment visa or to qualify through financial means, maybe you've got a million dollars in net worth or more, and you're like, you know what? Tip number two is you likely qualify for a visa, even if you think that you don't. There's ways of qualifying for visas through income, through savings, through retirement. Sometimes there's even countries that have digital nomad visas where you just have to show a little bit of income coming in every month from foreign clients. Even if you don't think that you qualify yet. Maybe something like remote income unlocks the door and maybe. Even if you don't have that remote income yet, you're at a job or something else, there are very easy ways to build a remote income stream. Which brings us to the next point, which is number three. Making money online is a lot easier than you think. Amanda, my wife and I have had so many, uh, experiences in different industries making money through freelancing, through con consulting, through remote jobs, through online businesses, and we've helped hundreds and hundreds of people all around the world, especially in the us, Canada, Australia, places like that. Build remote income streams completely remote. They can be done from anywhere. This isn't like a, Hey, you're gonna have a six figure business tomorrow kind of thing. But over the next three to six months, you can absolutely have an income stream that qualifies for a lot of these residency visa programs. You don't have to be an influencer. You don't have to have to learn to code. In fact, chat gpt is already getting pretty good at code. But all you have to do is help identify a problem that somebody has and solve that problem. And a lot of these people will become your clients and work with you no matter where you are in the world. You can run an agency, uh, you can obviously start a YouTube channel and, and sell services that way and get sponsorships, but that's not the only way. There are so many ways to make money online and qualify via remote income. Tip number four is you will make mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes. I make mistakes every day. Uh, it's nothing to be ashamed about. It's totally okay. Maybe you go to the wrong country. You, you know, you go to some, somewhere for six months, even get a visa there and you say, you know what? I don't really like it here. It's not my vibe. Well, guess what? You've already learned something about a new country. You've enriched your life by learning about a new people, maybe learning a new language. You've made your life better. You've become a more well-rounded person. It's totally fine. You're gonna have bad, bad landlords. You're gonna have, you're gonna probably have to invest like we have here, or in our last place to fix a couple little electrical issues in your Mexican. You know, otherwise, dream home, uh, you're probably gonna have someone. That, you know, doesn't, uh, treat you well as a tenant even though you pay your bills on time. Like, that's fine. It's normal anywhere in the world, right? Um, but at the end of the day, they're all problems that can be solved. You can get a new place, you can move somewhere else. And by the way, you're gonna have the same issues in the US or wherever you're from, right? And there's gonna be cultural hiccups. You can't figure out everything. You're gonna make mistakes. It's all part of the story, and you can always adjust. And relocation isn't, is, isn't permanent. It's flexible. So let's say that you get the, the soft skills now to be able to live somewhere else, you can apply those same skills that you learn and then the next country is gonna be easier. The next country is gonna be easier. It always gets easier. And tip number five, don't overlook the paperwork. Sometimes people miss things like apostles, health insurance, proof of income. That are necessary to qualify for a Visa. And I even had an issue where the first time I went on my own and tried to qualify for a Mexican visa, I actually got denied because the consulate that I went to did not like the type of paperwork I presented. They didn't want business bank statements. They only wanted to see personal income statements and. I had to go to a different consulate, and it's totally fine. This is the value of the checklist, by the way. That's why we created it so that absolutely nothing slips through the cracks.
