Off the Grid: ST’s Last Message to Staten Island
The gutter don’t lie. In this exclusive conversation, ST aka The Duffy (Michael Montgomery) delivers his rawest message yet — and maybe his last.
From why he skipped Ghostface Killah’s video shoot, to calling out Enver for working with the feds, to breaking down the legacy of Power Just, ST doesn’t hold back. He explains how street politics, betrayal, and survival shaped his world, then drops the bombshell: he’s stepping away and going off the grid.
🎯 Key Moments:
- Why ST was absent at the Ghost video shoot
- Enver’s alleged federal ties and Albanian connection
- Power Just: hustler, rat, or both?
- “The People vs. Michael Montgomery” — courtrooms vs. the streets
- Why ST says he’s done with the spotlight
This is Staten Island history in real time — unfiltered, fearless, and straight from the gutter.

Speaker 2:Y'all can check me out on YouTube, in my mind Also, sodium Podcast, the Savior Podcast. You can check me out on Facebook, mike Montenegro. That's my new page. We outside man, we addressing the issues that the people, that the streets, want to address, and that's what we here for, that's what we're going to do for the time being. Talk to me, and that's what we're here for. That's what we're going to do for the time being.
Speaker 1:Talk to me, All right. So let's start off with the ghost video shoot. How come you didn't pop out and make an appearance?
Speaker 2:For one ghost didn't invite me.
Speaker 1:Did you speak to him?
Speaker 2:Nah, actually I didn't, but if he wanted to speak to me, if he wanted to reach out to me, if he wanted me to be there, for whatever reason, I would have came, without a doubt.
Speaker 1:There was some mumblings of your name in the crowd at the ghost video shoot. How did you feel about that?
Speaker 2:Well, in the jungle, where the murder men mumble, niggas just can't slip or stumble, that's how I feel about that. So you know, shit like that is cute to me, you hear me. It's cute Sweetheart, you know. So, look right, hear me, it's cute, sweetheart, you know. So look right in real life, in real time, right, I am a celebrity, y'all. I have lived the celebrity's life the majority of my life. I have been a star the majority of my life, in whichever realm it is that I chose To inhabit. At this point, I'm a traveling man. I move around, I do my thing, I travel a lot. I'm a traveling person. In fact, you know, this is so far Above y'all heads that I understand that. Mo diddy, mo diddy, alright. So boom. I say that to say this.
Speaker 2:You got a lot of people wishing on stars. You know what I'm saying. That video shoot was the pinnacle of some dude's life. That's the highest point of their life, and may God bless them into the funeral home, dress them. I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with that. They was there at a video shoot with one of hip-hop's greatest rappers Truth be told, one of the most monumental rappers and they was out there with him.
Speaker 2:You understand what I'm saying and I respect that. But what happens is black holes seem to appear when I come around. Other lesser stars, like a local hood star, local hood or what he say. He said hood movie stars have a nice, you know whatever track slingers now rap singers of what we are, type shit, y'all niggas is super duper local, most of y'all. I need not even stars. So for me to come around, I dim them. I respect that. I'm not me to come around, I dim them. I respect that. I'm not looking to do that right. That's one aspect of it. Furthermore, if it was any like smoke involved, if it was that type of talk, these guys are in scone right and sconed in a perimeter of police while they peacocking, tough talking and peacocking. Y'all are surrounded by police. I need bullets. Hurry up, run. I don't got no time for all of that for y'all dudes. I don't have no time for that.
Speaker 2:If any one of y'all at that video shoot really wanted a problem with me, only thing I would have did was went in your house and went in the bathroom and turned the lights out and said my name three times in the mirror and y'all know I would have been there. Y'all know I would have been there. Y'all know I would have been there. Y'all know I would have been at your house, not at the movie shoot. I would have been at your home, coming from under your car or something I'm running.
Speaker 2:Yo, y'all niggas know, in the mighty name of Jesus, y'all know, look at the book of Daniel. Y'all know, oh, I'm trying to conserve myself. Yo, listen to me, man, listen to me, my brothers. Peace and blessings be upon y'all, really anybody that was there on some street stuff that was willing to do something to me. They are too young and have too much potential to throw that away on me. The dudes that's my age and up and in my circle. These guys are nobodies to me, no bodies to me, wishing that I can come so they can get some shine, or for possibly putting hands on me while a bunch of police is there so I can go to jail with them. I apologize, fellas, I have an itinerary of my own.
Speaker 2:I was on a fishing trip with some very prosperous Dominicans celebrating Dominican heritage, celebrating the three boos and all that. Y'all dudes always been beneath me and always will be. Check this out. This is a fact, right? Every person that was there that used to mess with me in real life in our era. I have ran trains with them. They know they not on my level. We have been in trains. Y'all niggas know what time it is. Y'all know what it is. I'm a better man all the way around the board.
Speaker 1:Mo Diddy, are you speaking to anybody directly?
Speaker 2:They not worth it. These guys are midgets. I'm not giving these dudes that glorification until they make it abundantly clear. You understand what I'm saying, what it's going to be, what's it going to be. You hear me Because y'all already listen. I'm not giving y'all dudes no type of glorification, gratitude or acknowledgement at this point. Y'all are beneath me and I'm not a bully. Y'all can keep wishing on the star. I'm not going to respond to y'all lanes when y'all know what it is, when we know what it is, I'm not doing that. Matter of fact. This is what I will do for you. This is for you, Elliot, all right.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's up to you.
Speaker 2:The last time I was in Ghostface's presence right, I actually graced the stage with him, right the last? Oh no, he didn't come to one, but the last time his artist was there and I was there. Who's his?
Speaker 1:artist Nizzle man.
Speaker 2:He had a bunch of dudes, some Cali niggas. He had mad people there, but that's beside the point. I was there with a Wu affiliate, yeah, and he asked me. I'm not even gonna tell the whole story. What I will say is that I showed my narrow behind on that stage and ghost gave me my flowers right here, right now. Oh, the lord pulled. The lord pulled the 20s out of the wallet. Oh, yeah, so I already had my acknowledgement where it counts, where it ain't no whole bunch of police and all of that.
Speaker 2:Y'all know how I was moving. Y'all know how I move. So the last time I was around ghosting them, I got beside myself, you know whatever, and the dudes that I was with who I'm not giving no acknowledgement or shine I actually outshined y'all to the point where y'all got upset and that's where dudes got exposed. You know what I'm saying. It's stuff going on in that camp with Ghost and them that if I actually sat down with Ghost I would talk to him, I would show up and pop out. I'm top five that are alive, staten Island. I'm top five that are alive, staten Island.
Speaker 2:Um geez, you know what I'm saying. That would be an honor for the both Of us if I show up, that would be an honor For the both of us, especially if I behaved Myself. If he would have told me Yo, pop out, nigga, I would have Popped out. I might have, um, just booked a later fishing trip or something, but as it stands, I went out Fishing, had a beautiful time, saw the sun go down out in the middle of the water. Come on, bro, I live a splendid life. Man, I don't got no time for these dudes. What's up? On to the next, let's see what the next one's about. Talk to me.
Speaker 1:How do you feel about my interview with Ember?
Speaker 2:So for me, being that I do deal with you to a certain degree and that I have a voice, I felt it incumbent upon me to get on here no ditty, and straighten certain things out and clarify certain things, right? Because what I'm not going to allow you to do is to continue to mislead the youth the way you have been doing my brother, and when I say Emphor, you have been misleading the youth. You started with my childhood friend, mia. Your wife, who was young and who has always had mental issues, started preying on a mentally slow black chick. Oh, no matter of fact, I'm fucking. You started when y'all niggas killed Ricky and you told on them niggas, no, allegedly. When y'all killed Ricky Dale, and you told so that's how your introduction to the hood is. You understand what I'm saying? Forgive him, ricky and them was roughly your peers.
Speaker 2:Fast forward. You go to VA. You go to VA and tell on the Albanian mob, right? You tell on the Albanian mob Get niggas kicked out of VA. This is in between Mia. Then you go to my childhood friend, mia, and you take her and bedazzle her with all type of jewels, this, this, that your whole family treat her.
Speaker 2:Fucked up, bro. I don't like you. I don't like you. I never liked your style, bro, I never liked your style. So you sit on here talking all this stuff about all this money you had and all these restaurants and stuff. So what I'm going to do is you, you, uh, this dude is bigger than a rat. This dude may be a uh, uh, I don't know what type of marsupial this guy is, but right. So what I'm gonna do is I'm a juxtapose, because this is where we headed. We got info on one hand and we got this is scale. We got info on one hand, we got power, just in the other hand, right, okay, street street scale. We got Embo. On one hand, we got Power, just in the other hand, right, okay, street scale. Right, we got ST in the middle as the balance. These are both guys who I have tracked as ST Allegedly Right, yeah, solely. For the purpose of what?
Speaker 2:You're asking me yeah, I'm asking you why you think I tracked these dudes.
Speaker 1:For the purpose of elimination.
Speaker 2:No, or they would be gone. These guys, they would be gone. These dudes were being tracked back in my stick-up days. Both of them were. When you hear somebody from Staten Island with big money talking about how much money they was getting. I can assure you that ST has followed them and tracked them. I can assure you of that. Once they get the what happened?
Speaker 2:Yes, without a doubt. Without a doubt, you gotta pay taxes in the street. That's a street tax. The stick up man, the boogie man, me, go listen Back. Then it's just I'm on my stick up shit, right. So I have followed both of these guys. Not a stick up kid, y'all at this point, I'm a stick up artist. I done made an art out of this shit, you hear me. So this is my assessment of the two, right? So, enver, yeah, you've got two, three restaurants, right, but you bought those restaurants with drug money. You never made no money off of none of those restaurants. You got your drugs. When I followed Enver to jam him, he was going to his connect. He went to the FBI, y'all. Word to boo-boo, nigga. Word to boo-boo you went to the feds to get your work. You went to the feds to get your work. You went to the feds to get your work, brother, most of the work you do huh, what you mean.
Speaker 1:He went to the feds to get his work so info.
Speaker 2:So this is what I want y'all to understand something about snitching and ratting on the federal level. A lot of times nobody may get locked up behind the information they give up. They just simply the feds just want information from these people. This dude gets his cocaine back. Then he was getting his coke from the FBI as a result of some snitching that he did in PA on the Albanian mark.
Speaker 1:But how can you verify that? How do you?
Speaker 2:know that. This is what I'm trying to tell you. I know police, I know feds. You can verify the shit about PA. That's your job. My name is ST. My job is to come on here and tell stories job. My name is ST. My job is to come on here and tell stories. Anybody else out there y'all penis peckers, semen slobbers. It's y'all job to research the facts. Okay, I could be lying, who cares? It's a good story, right? Is the story compelling?
Speaker 1:Absolutely.
Speaker 2:Alright. So my story is after killing Ricky Dale in Stapleton, he runs to PA under his father's cloak and get all of his father's men, the Albanian niggas, locked up. He told Because of it. And then he this is when his allegiance went from the Albanian mob to the feds. He sided with them. So long story short, I follow him to rob him and his connect. When I get there, st is not robbing no federal agents, period. After that, you hear me. Yeah, the same motherfuckers that I done seen following other niggas around. This alley is who I seen him getting his work from. Okay Boom. So in his own right he is very successful because he did manage to acquire these properties. He's the only person I know that had E pills for 25 cents for years, cause he gets it for free in exchange for his cooperation and other States. Whatever y'all that been out there, I'm putting shit together for y'all. Exchange for his cooperation in other states, whatever Y'all that been out there. I'm putting shit together for y'all now. Y'all know that Now it's making sense to y'all now.
Speaker 2:Anyway, now you got Power, just on the other hand, og Power, just right. I fucked with Power Just right, and I'm not going to get into the story about when mia tried to introduce you to me and I started crying and told her I don't fuck with the fbi, that's a whole. I ran off. She started crying because I started crying. Nigga, you came out with that, with that microphone on that chain. They got started crying and ran out of taco bell. Now power, just on the other side. I have been around Power Just many a times. I think he even drove me. He drove us away from like one of us guys to some serious shit and I think Power Just drove us up out of there. I fuck with Power, just right. Same thing. I have followed him as well. Reconnaissance for Juxes, nothing personal. You understand what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and no reconnaissance for juxtas nothing personal.
Speaker 2:You understand what I'm saying. And no, first I'm gonna go to the accomplishments right now. Power just. His argument is that power just only has a car in the crib. A car, a nice car, jewelry and nice clothes, that he's never owned, a home or anything like that. That's his argument about powerjust right.
Speaker 1:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2:Does he label Powerjust a rat as well?
Speaker 1:Yeah, absolutely he does.
Speaker 2:Okay, so most of my life, yo, powerjust, I love you.
Speaker 2:I have labeled you the same. Why? Because you are a rat, my nigga. You tell my nigga. You tell my nigga, I love you, bro. You tell on people, you work with the police, you cooperate. You knew, listen, remember that day, power Just, it was you, big Den, mega and somebody else.
Speaker 2:Who was this other person? Damn, who was it? Was it Unks? It was one of them, other niggas, and they was on the side of 180 Park Hill and between 180 and 160 bragging about having a 5k one. They was talking about their federal experiences. This way, before Dent died, they had already got caught up in some fed shit and it was one nigga who was there from a fed case that didn't have nothing to do with them. Nobody else in the hood really knew what they was talking about. I did why? Because I'm really from Castle Hill and niggas been going to the feds out there from fucking. What's connecting all that? I knew the language that these niggas were speaking. They were sitting right there bragging about being federal reformers in front of me and others. I was off to the side, mind you, because I never used to stand close enough for Big Din to put his hands on, never stood close enough for that nigga to get a swing on. That's why he was always scared of me. I might have, matter of fact, the only time I did is when I put my head on his chest. That's a different story At this time. I wasn't staying close enough to the nigga then.
Speaker 2:So, also following PJ, I have followed him back on the AN Street days. Power Just, I followed you and seen you fucking with the police way since my self-confidence, you and God bless the dead myself, conf and Hassan McGee, big crip nigga. Them two niggas is dead now. God bless them. If you don't move home, don't trust them. So when us three was getting money on Ann Street that's power just side of Port Richmond. He stays fly. He stays with vehicles, yes, right, but sometimes the vehicle. And even if Power Just got an apartment, he's a better juke than and he has accomplished way more than Enfield. Let's start with accomplishments. He's definitely accomplished way more than Enfield. Power Just tell when he getting so much money that he's so hot that if he don't tell on somebody he got to go down. That's what he tells. From my research, right, ember tells for a living, this is his life. You heard, everything he's doing is what they got to put pressure Like power just is an old school rat, the old school police. You know I'm saying plant some shit on him, he'll get yo, he ain't going.
Speaker 2:You know I'm saying funny looking, nigga. And another thing about power, just your power, just if you could be funny, right, if you could be funny without being mean to other people. I will respect that. See, to me you're really not that funny. It's just that you're funny looking and you throw back at people what niggas been throwing at you forever, bro, that's not funny. Make people laugh without putting somebody down, then that'd be funny. If you got a problem with what I just said suck my dick, that's the way I feel about that. I'm not funny. Suck, that's the way I feel about that. I'm not funny. Suck my dick, nigga, that's the way I feel. But, however, if you don't feel no way about what I just said, then that that shit, you know it flies over your head. You know how that go. If it don't apply, let it fly, but if it apply, that's my response in advance.
Speaker 2:Frank Stanton. Hot dogs, hot dogs. Come and get your hot dogs. Mustard, ketchup, mustard, ketchup. Relish hot dogs, hot dogs. Come and get your hot dogs Midtown Manhattan, downtown Manhattan, all right.
Speaker 2:So Powerjust, overall, is a better hustler, a better person and all of that than Enver. Enver can't stand nowhere next to that, nigga Enver. Powerjust makes his own money. Enver manipulates children to make his money. A world of difference. Yo, ember, shut the fuck up. You ain't nowhere near on that nigga PJ level. You ain't nowhere near on that nigga PJ level. Bro, you a rat and you a white boy. You a fucking colonizer, bro, stop playing with me. You a colonizer. And you fucked my friend up. And every time you had sex with your wife you had to look at my little brother's face. My yo, my little brother's face Is on your wife's thigh, on her back, on her ass, everywhere On your dime. Nigga, I should've listened to her. When she first got with you, she told me to come kill you and take all of that money. Nigga, she told me to come kill you. I should've listened to her. I should've listened to her. I fucked up, I bl. I should have listened to her. I fucked up, I blunted.
Speaker 1:I should have listened to her.
Speaker 2:Why didn't you, because I had too much blood on my hands and I didn't want to get her killed in result. I knew them Albanians was going to kill her if I did that shit. Well, I thought they would. In hindsight, I blunted I should have did it, bro. I should have did it. I ain't want to get her bumped off. I had already got her. Man, my little brother, that's Boo Boo's wifey, me is Boo Boo's wifey. I had already did too much. I was afraid, bro, to get her killed. I wasn't afraid for my life, I was afraid for hers. Yeah, that's honorable.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but that's a, that's a compelling story you told there. I'm grateful for you, uh, coming on this platform and sharing that story, but is there a reason that you came on this platform to share the story? Do you have a message for the people?
Speaker 2:yeah, the main thing is yo, peace, and to the people I'm glad you worded it like that, right, and the fact of the matter is, at this point in my life, I make way. I benefit way more from not talking on here for not being on social media and not being around. I make more for not being around. It's more beneficial to media and not being around. I make more off of not being around. It's more beneficial to me to not be around. It's just certain things, certain things that I just wanted to straighten out with the people.
Speaker 2:I don't want nobody looking up to dudes like Ember. Dudes is creeps, and if y'all do look up to any of these guys, I want y'all to know exactly who y'all do look up to any of these guys. I want y'all to know exactly who y'all dealing with. You know what I'm saying. Even now, og PJ, you in talks with some known rats right now. You trying to get why, because it is what it is. You know what I'm saying, but for the people, for the most part, joe, I'm going off the grid.
Speaker 2:Man, I don't know when y'all will see me again. If y'all will see me again, this is not only a social media message. This is to my loved ones and all that. Yeah, I love, I love y'all saying I don't hear from me, I'm fine, I'm saying if, if, if. If you don't see some shit on the news, some real big shit on the news, then y'all know I'm still alive. I just ain't, I'm good, I'm good, y'all, I'm good, I'm good. Right, it don't got nothing to do with no fear or no, none of that. I don't know what to tell y'all.
Speaker 2:What does that?
Speaker 1:why are you going off the bridge?
Speaker 2:The person that I am. Y'all. I am not fit for society, not fit for basic humanity, but I know that I don't belong in a cave.
Speaker 1:Are you like battling depression right now? Are you going through something?
Speaker 2:Reality bro, reality bro, reality bro, reality, reality bro. I'm not running around faking for nobody, bro. I'm not faking for nobody. I'm a real person and, with that being said, I'm going to go off the grid and act like one. You know what I'm saying. I don't want to bully these dudes. I don't want to bully them. You understand what I'm saying. I don't want to bully these dudes. I don't want to bully them. You understand what I'm saying. I don't want to bully nobody. I know what I'm capable of. I don't want to bully nobody. I don't belong in a cage, or they would have never let me out of a cage.
Speaker 2:I will leave y'all with this. I have so many generations of masons in my family. I have so many generations of real people. I got to sit back and see what's really going on. When I come back, I will not be dealing with anything subpar. If I do come back, I won't be dealing with nothing subpar y'all.
Speaker 2:I don't got no time to keep playing with y'all people. I will stay out of y'all way because, in all reality, in my mind, the only person way I've been in since I've been home is my home. The only person way I've been in is my home. All of y'all want to keep getting in my way, trying to stop something that's unstoppable. I'm off the grid. I have a possibility. I'm off the grid. I get paid way more for shutting the fuck up and staying away from y'all lanes. I'm tired of scaring y'all and all that. I'm out of here. Y'all got it. Peace and blessings to the people. Because every time I get in that courtroom it says the people versus Michael Montgomery, and Michael Montgomery has never been against the people. I've never been against the people, never been the bully, never robbed a nigga, unless they hood sent me to do it. But when I get in that courthouse the people are always against me. Yo y'all contemplate that I'm out of here.
Speaker 1:And what I'm doing on that note. I don't know.
