The word of truth. So if we're gonna study the word Oh, I guess we have to turn it off. That'll help.
SPEAKER_00In studying the word, Genesis 1 1 starts out, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. What does that really mean? What is in the beginning? In Revelation chapter 1, verse 8, it tells us that I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. That verse is telling us two things. That verse is telling us that Jesus Christ is saying that He is the beginning. And it also is telling us that He's coming again. In Revelation 22, 13, it says, I am the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. And if we've studied those, we look at one more verse in Colossians 1:18. And he is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence. The preeminence here is he wants us, he wants our attention, he wants us to be with him, he wants us to put him first. So right there is three scriptures that is telling us that Jesus Christ is the beginning. So what does that look like? In Genesis 1:1, in the beginning, so something's happening in Jesus Christ. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. What that looks like is what he did in Moses. Well, first of all, we have to look and see that in Philippians 2.13, it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. See, we're here to serve him. We're here to love him. We're here to share with each other what he has shared with us, his love. And we see this in Moses. It was for Moses that God separated the waters from the waters that allowed Moses and those that were trying to get across a path to get across. There's love. He loved Moses. And it was in Moses that God separated the waters from the waters so that they could cross over. He provided a way, he gave them a way to cross over to be safe. And it was through Moses that God separated the waters and they were able to walk across. God was working in Moses. He was working through Moses. But unlike Jesus Christ, by Moses didn't create anything. But it was by Moses' obedience to the Father that the waters would be able to be separated and they could go through. They didn't stand there and wonder why. I mean, Moses could have said, How am I going to get cross? He didn't. He put his trust in the Father. So we can say that Jesus is the beginning. He is the beginning of love. The beginning loves to create. And when he created that world, the beginning loves to give. And God said, Let us make man in our image after our likeness. And you know the verse goes on, but the the emphasis here is on the love of God. He created us. He did not have to create us, but he loved us enough to create us. And I look at this passage here as God being God has already shown the Son everything. Without even making it, he's already showed him. And here is Jesus Christ up at the Father saying, Father, let us make man in our image. He begged the Father. He wanted the Father to make man because of what he's seen, he loved it. He didn't want to hold on to it, he wanted to share it. The image of loving, the image of giving, the image of sharing with each other. Just like God did to Jesus and Jesus did to us. They passed it on. They didn't keep it. They passed on that love. They passed on that giving. They passed on that sharing. And they're loving to give, they are loving to share and give us an everlasting life. But we must accept the sacrifice that Jesus done for us. And then we go on to say, are we loving and sharing and giving to one another? Or are we like the rich man in Scripture? We know what happened to the rich man in Scripture. And like that right there says, the possessions that he had meant more to him than God the Father, who actually gave those things to him to start with. There's nowhere in Scripture where you found where that man repented and went to heaven. He went to hell. Now, for by him were all things created, him being Jesus Christ. All things created that are in heaven, that are in the earth, visible and invisible. Understand that this was written many, many years ago. So some of the visible or the invisible are the pews that you're sitting in, the chairs, I mean the shoes that are on your feet, the clothes. They didn't have that back then. So God created all of this, but he used us and his knowledge and wisdom that he gave to us in the breath of life to do this.
SPEAKER_01And let me grab some water.
SPEAKER_00But I'm going to say it like this. If Jesus Christ at this point right here, creating everything, owned everything, had everything, if he acted like you and I in our selfish and greedy ways, what would you have today? Nothing. He doesn't want us to hold on to what we have. He wants us to share just like he shared with us. He wants us to love one another like he loves us. He loves us with an unconditional love. No matter how short you are, how tall you are, how fat, how skinny, how much you weigh, that does not matter. Jesus shared our sins with himself. He shared your death, my death on the cross. But what's not seen here, and there was some pain and some agony there. But the pain and agony was not from the nails in his hands, and not from the nails in his feet. The pain and agony came. See, you can't separate Jesus and God. You cannot separate the Father and the Son. And what happened here, when mine and your sins were put on the shoulders of Jesus Christ on that cross, Jesus Christ did not feel the presence of his father. So much did it sicken him to the point of Father, why hast thou forsaken me? The presence of God was gone. Just like the presence of God is gone in most of our lives. We don't follow Christ in the way that we should. Now, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Now, this next verse shows, and God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. So the next verse is going to be, it's not changing the verse, but like a definition. Because we see right here, God loved the world that he created. It says, For God so loved the world that he created, that he sent, he sacrificed his only begotten son to save us from the world that we have created. Created selfishness, murder, all of the above. That's what we've created. We haven't created a loving, giving, sharing life with our loving Father and His creation. Because what I have to look at, each and every one of you is His creation. I must love you because you are His creation. That, my friends, is the love that we are to abide in. That's the love that produces much fruit. I hope that we're not the kind of Christians that say, okay, the doors are open in this church. I'm going every day. Every day the church doors are open, I'm going to be there. Lord, I put $1,000 in the offering plate this month. I'm good. No. You got to take what you learn and hear out in the streets. The disciples didn't go into church every time it was open. They was out ministering to the people. And then once we get into that love, that love, that giving, and that sharing, then we are going to hear, Well done, thy good and faithful servant, because we follow the Lord. The will of the Lord is for us to love each other. How does it go? Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will. His will is us to love each other. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. It's already in heaven. The love, the giving, the sharing. We get to walk down streets paved with gold, not tar. He shared that with us. Because it would be better than hearing, get far from me, for I never knew you, ye workers of iniquity. What is iniquity? A disposition that is inherently wicked or immoral. It's also a type of sin that includes a conscious decision to hurt someone else or rebel against God's law. Are we rebelling against God's law? Are we loving each other? Are we sharing with each other? Are we giving with each other? A corruption of God's good creation that manifests in human relationships and choices. Because we sit in the building every time the doors is open and not working out in the streets, you got men marrying men, women marrying men. I mean, women marrying women. That's a corruption of God's good creation. He created man and he created woman. And it's also a distortion of what is good and a violet of trust, immoral or wicked behavior. That trust, God has trusted us with everything that He has given us. Are we sharing it or are we holding on to it for ourselves? There's where we're stuck at. And that way I can go out and you know, now, God, I don't need you. I got all this money. I'm gonna be able to buy me a boat, and I'm about to be able to buy a truck to pull it. And we're about to wrap it up. It seems to be kind of early here. In the Garden of Eden was every plant, every tree, everything that we ever needed to eat. It was there. God provided it for us. We didn't have to work for it, we didn't have to do anything, He had it there for us. There was trees with fruits on all kinds of trees and all kinds of fruits. The tree of life was there. And then because we were disobedient to God's command, don't eat, we did eat, we got banned from the Garden of Eden. And then when we got banned, we became sinners. When we became sinners, God gave us our first command as sinners. And watch this. In Genesis 3:17 through 18, and unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it. Cursed, uh-oh. God's mad. Cursed is the ground for thy sake, yours, mine. And sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of our lives. Those of us that have grown gardens, you know what that's like. Thorns and this shall it bring forth to thee, and thou shalt eat of the herb of the field. Therefore, the Lord God sent him out, sent him forth from the ground, the garden of Eden. And there's our first command to till the ground. Now, because of our sin, you and I, we gotta work for our food. We gotta till the ground, we gotta plant the seed, we gotta grow the food, and we're not doing it. And I think, and and this is what we're supposed to be doing. All of this working for each company and all of that to work for money. We weren't supposed to be doing that. We were supposed to be working for the Lord and working and helping each other because He's not helping us no more. We got to help each other. And I think this is a picture of the next thing that I want to talk about. No, okay. The word of God, now we do know that in Matthew 10, 1 through 15, that the this is where the disciples went out and he told them not to worry about anything. But you must understand that everything we have, like I mentioned, this table, shoes, clothes on it, all of that is free. It's mankind that says, okay, this is mine. If you want it, pay me. And then we've gotten caught up in that. We were supposed to be tilling the ground, growing food, taking care of each other. And if we were to do that, we would not have people that's lost their jobs sleeping in their cars, sleeping in the woods, sleeping under bridges. We would be there helping them. But here is what's fixing to happen. Now understand, anything that we do here is not going to change what God has in play. We can be a part of it, but this was taken off of a marquee at work when I worked at Coppers. And it says the U.S. has approved sale of chicken made from cultivated animal cells, the nation's first lab-grown meat. Is that what you want your grandchildren growing up to eat? Have you taught them how to till the ground? Have you taught them how to grow the vegetables? Because there's coming a time, I don't care how much money you got in the bank, there's coming a time where the government's gonna say, if you want to spend your money in my stores, you will take the mark of the beast. If you take the mark of the beast, you're not going to heaven, you're going to hell. Use your possessions wisely. Use your possessions just as Jesus Christ used them. Because remember, if he was to act like us right now, in that first scripture where he created everything for himself, we wouldn't have nothing. We wouldn't even be here. What I'm seeing now is give me some more water. Baptists love water. See what's happening, and this doesn't this is not just for farmers, also, this is for all of us. Our food supply is being diminished. And if we don't get off of our doves and open up our farms, we've got farms. When I when I traveled, when I worked with this company, I traveled a lot. A lot of farmlands being shut down. Why? You got your pocket full of money and you don't care about everybody else? God gave it to you. Let's keep it going. I see a lot of fields now being the food supplies being removed, and they're putting in solar panels. Can you digest a solar panel? Understand that all of these things are taking place because of what God has put in place. We can't stop it. But I know there's people in here that have grandchildren and children. Do you want your children and grandchildren growing up eating that stuff? Let's get back to the basics and do what God asked us to do and till the ground because He loves us. He loves you. He loves me. He gave you life. He gave you the breath of life. He gave you the knowledge to be able to tie your shoes. You didn't come out of the womb knowing how to tie your shoes. All of the knowledge that God had was right there in that one breath. And He gave it to us for free. I love y'all and I thank you. Um
