Wow, wow, wow!! So excited to bring you our new episode with our TWO new guests Amber Shaye, and Valerie Light. Amber Shaye is a senior at MHS whose involved with a group Ms. Light formed called "Circle Keepers." We really dive into the purpose of Circle Keepers, what restorative justice is, and how restorative justice and restorative practices are utilized when it comes to repairing harm. Traditionally, punishment has been centered around a more punitive approach, where Ms. Light and Amber Shaye are doing their best to learn, and teach others to handle conflict in a more holistic approach!
